I play in Eric Burdon's current band and the version we perform is a fair mix of Nina's original recording and the Animal's cover. Eric often shares kind words and memories about Nina and mentions how, at first she wasn't thrilled with the Animal's cover. Haha

Eric Burdon (lead vocals) was just cool as fuck there. I love his "Ya, I'm here" swagger with such little movement. You can see it in his eyes that he knows what's up.
