well guys here we are we're pulling this planetary gearset apart off the city 420 key we already got our Sun gear shaft out pull my snap rings you saw at the end of the video other day now we're going to put our break discount I want to do this this is kind of table here the guy came in there laid up there alright so now look up a near housing it's listen eyes have depth today Stanner up on in thank about 1,500 pounds so starter back down Aereo these balls out the woman doesn't care and somewhere we should be salon bolt our ring here from the center here and we'll take two bolts out here pretty much do the same thing over it to lift a knife in there and we'll lift the ring gear out my little three guns gonna be tough enough to it does was because I left my half-inch gun and that guy's bring it that irrigation district over there bringing me some tickets to work on to my house and in that town and he said he'd just do it and want to pick up something hopefully I'll have it by tomorrow I don't want to listen that dammit pressure might have to though we get the ball rolling [Music] holy man oh okay happy Drive I've got something that'll get it loose yeah this long rest here two of these bolts the singing lift her out of there mom I have to fire up the air compressor he's mine my air package Organa Oh Mac airgun all these years well the guy that rebuilds all the electric motors in town is finally getting back I need to run my motor from my air compressor in the shop up there Dave he he's getting kind of work he's pretty independent too he takes off for Arizona all winter the other guy in town I don't really want him touching it [Music] or slacker I thought we had time you got to do a little tap one with a hammer to get it kind of gets ooh don't pick up exactly square it'll kind of get bound up on the spline get it work with it a little bit which one's the high side here you know let's go back down with it I think we'll be changing the dream here look at this bearing can get a big bearing over here [Music] if this little computer binge this guy giving me I don't know if he's gonna hold up its mental but it's tinny you know I'm not out of beds raise you got too much torn apart in here [Music] [Music] usually when you start leaking that's usually what happens give you bearing or something going out and all right let's look at this bearing on the other side of this thing here and always seems like it's usually the inside bearing in search of going to hell on then it takes a seal up one of those things if you replace someone bearing Idol both a sense of half afternoon [Music] let's get a rag wipe that off get it really close like bearing a shot she's coming apart I hope you guys can see that let me get my camera see how it's flaking right there see it better there and I'm lady and it's certain to flake or it's gonna have to be changed all right now this whole housing will come off the top here oh this barians hammered yeah look at the reefs right here guys it's hammered we cannot put that back together like that that's probably what made the ring gear pit out was the bearings started failing on it and the metal got into the between the planet gears and the ring gear and and ate the ring here that's what happened okay so we got that part done now as you can see that lube tube in there this is going through the shaft to lube the bearings well we'll have to do here is when we pull this housing off the axle we'll have to flip it back over and remove that tube so we can get that bearing off of there [Music] sometimes it's crane and I can't wait to get another server so I really can't pure a hydraulic crane no more this electric over hydraulic junk I get so tired of coils and going bad on it problematic I guess I can't run the old girl down too much she's made me a lot of money kept my family fed for a long time and then pretty damn good to me so I can't let her down to that she's just getting a little time on her I guess no he's he's worked breed a marvel you know what happens on a big bearing or a big bearing race like that when you take it out and you take it out with a cutting torch and when you put it back in we'll put it in the freezer and we'll drive it in the jig bearing we'll be using our bearing I don't know if that Cohen heater is big enough for that not off put it in an oven or something I'll make this sumbitch go on here all right Daisy we're gonna lift the housing off now hunt [Music] I cannot change be careful with that tube in there [Music] that bearing don't look too bad so that's this time was the outside bearing it took a big dump usually it's the inside one that I've noticed Bill's out for some reason it ain't very good either it's gonna have to be changed okay let's set this down let's see if I can get a little better look at that another variant race in there this outside one boy look at that see that that very inserted to fill [Music] in that nice just to give you guys a little bit of idea how big this very racist that's my arm that's probably about a $2,500 bearing all right well we know exactly what happened now let's pray this is gonna have to be completely reconditioned I mean I'm gonna have to talk to the owner but it's just this is an expensive expensive this will play cost off the price securing most of time these planetary gears you can this could be a $10,000 job for him easy you know you start replacing them big planning ears and that big green gear nose bearings getting into a lot of money quick [Music] we need to cut the bearing races out of it need to get these bearings off I'll have to get it my big bearing knife-edge bearing spreader and then the one I'm feeling on these I've done these quite a few times in the past we'll have to flip this back over and get this act that get this tube out that way when this bearing does come off it doesn't whack that tube and bend the end of it in or something and then we'll uh I usually get my rosebud as I'm pressing on it with my knife edge bearing tool and then I'll press them off but I put heat on him I put quite a bit of heat on him to do it alright well let me get situated here and we'll get the we'll get the bearing races out of it and get her pretty much stripped down for rebuild well we got that planetary disassembled this morning I got left the house and a little after 4:00 now down there my 4:30 got it all disassembled and the owner showed up about 7:30 and we both said it a while and trying to make a game plan what we're gonna do cuz everything we were looking at there was high-dollar stuff so as soon as Deere opened their doors up and I'm gonna answer the phone this morning I called those guys and I want a ninety three hundred and thirty two dollars to the parks to fix that you know basically replace their ring gear the planet gears and Sun gear and the bearings and the seals $9,300 and that's not even including all the labor it's gonna take you know taking it off with the back end which really isn't that bad really not very very you know I only had the other day I might have had three hours three half hours and taken it off I had about six including disassembled in the planetary this morning you know so you know I'll probably have 12 12 to 15 hours back into it putting it back together it won't be that bad but he's trying to save some money and I just told him I said you know if you want to I mean the Sun gear and the Planeteers didn't look too bad but you know as well as I do if you've been doing this long enough all it takes is one flake of one gear to come off and destroy the whole damn thing and then you're on the hook for the whole and caboodle and I said you know if you want to cut corners there's going to be something specifically in the billing that says you wanted to do that and I'm not on the hook you know and I understand it's cost me a lot of money but so I'm I got to go when I get back to the land of cellphone reception I got to get a hold of him again and see what we're gonna do about that so I left the shop there and I went out and bled some brakes on that wonderful hey squeeze that you guys saw the video on here a while back they had a little air in one side still so I bled it out and finally got it to work you can only pump the pedal twice to make the pedal hard set a pump in at 10 times and now I'm heading out to a 3155 John Deere's the Cowboys are using and I was out here the other day I fix for tractors that day out here well I didn't fix this one too good it's a lot better than it was but I came out here the other day they had a 64 third either was throwing a bunch of codes and long story short the wires then all T together and the harness they're going to the suction control valve and the pump speed sensor for the common real pump and the no one else crank sensor stolen coach for all three of those and you'll see on those looms there there's a plastic tee where they all come together well I filled that plastic tee off there and all the wires that just rub together in there and you know all the copper was showing on them and so I basically I just kind of cut and splice all those wires store they could get going and feeding their cows they pull a round bail feeder with it got that one then they had a Kubota em what is that M 135 G X and a foil drive wasn't working on it and I found a fuse blown a fuse panel I'll change that and that work fixed that one for then and then I went over to a 64 15 John Deere that had a bad leak and said that oil was spraying on the tire this this is all one ranch these guys are a huge ranch so a huge cattle ranch they've got going everywhere yeah but anyway the transmission filter on the right hand side over there not as the wasn't transmission his main hydraulic filter right over there by that right tire Oh were those little Quick Connect fittings with little wire clip to go in there the outlet tube of that the o-ring was bad inside so I took that apart and didn't have one damn lowering and four different kits that fit it right so I sent him Claire over to Merrill to get that and then I had a couple other service calls to make that day oh yeah the 31:55 everyone to now I'd fixed a couple leaks on it but you said they're leaking again so we're gonna go see what's going on and then he said they broke the shift to or the shift rod for a first and second so it's over here at a place they called Billy's Corral's and we're gonna go over here to the corrals and see what's wrong with this thing I got a feeling that one this is that's a 31 those 3155 done here for a European basically designed tractor and they had those stupid in fittings it came in back to the backside of the remotes and fed them and people tighten those up too tight it'll kind of flare them and make a groove in the fitting or the tube and then they'll never seal up again so I'm pretty soon they'll just tighten that fitting up till it almost hits the coupler on the back you know the body on it you can't go no more you're done so then either you guy has to pull that whole tube off and go get a hose made for it and in the fitting - usually and then try to get the leak sealed up on it so that's what we're doing right now we're we're heading out to this cow ranch and then I'm gonna go back to the shop and I got my cylinder head my injectors I got my liners piston rings broad bolts all that stuff in for the 6170 are and the guy delivering the parts from the nursery that owns the tractor says they said everything was in and when we got to counting stuff over there there was only five piston pack so they're not six so he got the question and the guys at the dealership said where's the rest of the piston that you know where's the other piston well two piston packs had to come from Portland and three were in Mailand and the other one was somewhere else and it hasn't showed up so dear doesn't have six piston packs in one warehouse for that engine can you believe that goofy nah I just I don't know I'm sorry guys that you know I used to be a really big time dear guy work on a lot of them but anymore I don't know about them guys man I really don't they're getting a bird they're just about like this as bad as anybody else you know it's a it's a it's a $10,000 machine with $100,000 paint job on it and about $5 are people taking care of it you know I don't know it's kind of disgusting sometimes I'm in the parts gotta go over there they act like they don't give a whether your stuff shows up or not they don't care whether you're losing time or losing money they don't care you know they're gonna get paid for their 8-hour dangle home who gives a you know so that seems to be the mentality but you know oh well I guess what can you do just keep trying to do the best you can and get stuff together and take care of your customers the best you can and make sure you let them know that hey you know it's not me it's them theirs they're the ones dragging their feets getting the parts and they can't stock up a whole rebuild kit for one engine and how many of those 60 68 motors are running around the countryside here hundreds of them so I don't think we're the first ones to lose a motor either okay I'm looking for this track and I see all the cattle there it is sitting out there and I'll get around it [Music] and where's the gate to get into this right there let's see how the hell are they getting in here I know the feedlot is down there are ways I don't think I've ever been on this end there's a gate right there of bent them tubes and put them on or something that kind of goofy there that's all this thing that you do anything or no it's probably clear out I'm I don't want stuff on it okay let's look at the shift rod on it a shift that's in there [Music] [Music] I think this one support - okay off of there but not remember some bulbs out there by defender think holding it see I mean they got them all out here there's boats out there somewhere you had to take off - you right God ain't man how many times I'm gonna step in that big pile of cow right here all right [Music] and I dropped it there's a washer does it always happen don't find out bull the hell did it you huh was a little odd a little more scour in here in a little bit and find it stepped in that big pile of twice no I missed it that time the hell is holding this back here oh I couldn't see it now I got her so here we'll show you I'm in a hurry so of course you pay me ass why would it be in a way I think I need to come up with top cuz that's the street straight into the shaft is there everyone's got a dogleg in it to meet it put on the linkage so I'm gonna need to come out the top with it to facilitate nope there it goes clear to the bottom now back out here see if we can drag it out the bottom now this kid here it's no it's pick up he's got a lead foot he likes to throttle drill on he's not hit me head-on the other day on this dirt road out here damn near got me damn near got me the other day ah right guys all right so we gotta figure out beans we are going to be welding a solid for now boy it wouldn't be a bad idea to make sure it's clocked in the right position before you welds it on there yeah that came up through there like that so this is in the tractor like like that right there all right worst-case scenario I can loosen this and turn it but they're gonna work though I gotta make damn sure that this is right so I'm gonna stick it back through there and just make damn sure I've got a clock position right well she's hotter than a pistol and I only got in the water out here know if I got a cup of coffee or anything in there I can pour on that bastard to cool it yeah uh-huh that's a tease I know it does some tea on that end down burnin tea somebody's trying to get over me all righty well here we go stay back in there basically sticking square pegs around [Music] that stuck at my pocket on me I don't see it there either if we can get it on underneath I guess yeah I gotta get back to the shop I got a lot of to do there engine rebuilds you name it going on stuff like that kind of kills you for time on that I'm still a little warm to the tux I'm gonna have to be careful okay Bert or something on it it's always something this is what it's like guys when it's a cluster I just get a little file or something that'll burn off of there you have to go through the hole right I'm gonna find that pin what the hell happened it laying right here somewhere no let's get together at the bottom in first I figured I'd record so I'm gonna set a lot of this stuff I don't record I didn't know if anybody wanted to see this kind of crap what I go through in a daily basis little pieces like now she's going on I think oh yeah all right little c-clip here she brought my little screwdriver I didn't get to that c-clip dirty clipper one testicle okay it's on put her back out on the top and pull that tube out of there another little weight a hose made for make sure she's just first I guess get that in there first so what range with it actually being stuck in in between or something there in there I like this camera I can talk to myself all day and I got a good excuse work all right it's a little shift guide back on it hang up in the saying is that it was the two ranges at once it won't do that why is this thing fighting me so there's some of the stuff like this is a string linkage lined up that's one thing a little bit nicer about some of the new stuff it's just a wire but that stuff here you can weld it back together when it's screwed up you don't go well the center's out you're done for a little bit maybe huh it a little bit stubborn you know the linkage you know what oh shoot I'm this one here fell over on me hanging somewhere somehow okay I think we're getting somewhere no I'm back on anybody make sure shifts first huh oh yeah she's fine get that next I don't want to start it with that how many know oil and dipstick I don't know if they run it clear out and on some of these Cowboys I got a lot of friends of cowboys and I always tell them boys I said you know what I give them a hard times they give me a hard time for being a filthy grease monkey and I always tell them and I said you know you guys wear your Spurs wing here when you're on that tractor and just kick her a little harder make it go or what do you do I said yeah well get it all nice and greasy see you get there yeah we will give you two their hard time a lot of stuff to you a lot of stuff did you trying to buy a new service truck and that a new one I can't afford $120,000 service truck trying to look for something like a Oh like an F 750 or f 800 or a like a 330 Peterbilt or you know something something like that something like about a 10,000 pound crane I need something a little bigger I'd like to get saved up about fifty thousand you know and if I do buy $100,000 one I'd like to go put about half down on it and wait my payments don't kill me I kept looking at you know other trucks that were cheaper and everyone I'm I could find for 30 or 40 grand just you know ma'am I've said man I don't have time what I'm doing here to work on my own stuff I almost need it almost needs to be pretty damn right little mileage when I get into it I have to do something this bolt they got the threads all screwed up on it you know I'm gonna have to have something with some pretty pretty low mileage I still gonna find that one bolt that fell down there and burn a little bit all right guys I believe in a 31:55 I and stiva card was full and I needed a couple small portions of the video but I wasn't gonna do anything on so and my battery on my GoPros down there like 14% right now so I got this thing here and I got the shift linkage welded back together got it all scabbed back together now I've got that miserable - going up to the remote that was leaking with that wonderful dim fitting on it so I'm gonna take the den fitting tube and take it back to shop and I took the o-ring boss fittings where the din fitting screwed into the valve into the remote coupler off there was a 90 on the valve and then one on a straight on the remote and then I'm gonna put a GIC - o-ring boss fitting on there and then make a hose and come back and put a GIC fitting on it the den stuff is just a lot of people just don't stock them around here you know if anybody knows what bin is I know you guys over there in England they're probably used to what it been it's a Deutz I used to know the Deutsche International something I don't know their son somebody probably chimed in and tell me what that means but it's a it's a Deutsch spitting it's a metric some kind of metric tubing fitting but oh it still is rough but that'll be all for now and on this video I figured I try to pump out a few more videos a little bit more often so alright guys
