PICKING UP MY NEW CAR!! Rivian R1S!

today is officially the day that I'm going to be picking up my new rivian r1s I called Uber so uh let's go get my brand new car shall we an Uber ready to get the car I'm late I mean it's here I see no that's a truck um I don't actually know where to go is the problem how do I get my car I'm so excited let's go [Music] all right [Music] oh my god oh look at that you see your vehicle there she is there she is she's so shiny this is your front trunk basically like your level one level two charging cable 120 connector and 240 in there it's a magnetic panel right and then boom that's how you just kind of just divide your storage a little this is the one you're going to be using a lot that's the same cable that's up front Okay but when you're doing fast charging you're going to use this full unit okay come on around here I have not seen the ocean Coast yet oh God it looks so good okay oh my God the ocean Coast looks wow all the new cars smell I pumped extra it smells so good there it is and it's cool because it's not using your vehicle's audio okay it's an accessory it has a lantern on it we love that uh-huh there's a 40 60 split meaning that it's 40 split on the bottom 60 at the top right so these two can move independently like this that can retract as far as they're giving whoever sitting back there more leg room type thing if that's what they need there is so much room it's a lot of room it's really fun too and if you find yourself sleeping like in the vehicle right you can flush this panel out makes it easier to shove Luggage in there too and you don't have that step down yeah that's great you don't have that lip right but then compressor hose here compressor is there first aid kit here and then Underneath more storage more storage swipe up to accept delivery please swipe it up good morning yep so put your phone here they're gonna do some talking to each other reach down to your left hand side make sure your chair is nice and comfortable you remember how to adjust your steering wheel they give you a lot of choices anyway I know this feels good for now so let's see go ahead and swipe up in the middle of the screen please oh yeah we gotta name this phone Jenna that is why you don't like iPhone 240. no you're cool gotta get started and hit the lock button for me I'm good you're good we've got the key I know we got the key we got the bracelet yeah and the cards so oh do they update this too or is this is what it's been like I just actually haven't seen the band they actually added that that yellow line okay yeah that's what I thought and then do you happen to have Spotify or anything like that on the Spotify do you want to pair it really quick sure perfect awesome you guys have a good old time don't drive too fast okay I mean well guys the rivian r1s is officially mine I have all of the keys what I like about the ribbon is that we have this key where you can kind of like hook it on to like your backpack or something like that we also have two of these cards and there's a wristband so if you don't want to have a key or you're going surfing you can just like throw this on your wrist you have a lot of options and you can also use your phone uh so this is the rivian blue color and I've only had white cars or gray so this is like a big step for me but if you're gonna go big wanna go with Ruby and blue this is also the launch edition so it does have the yellow accents and I got the ocean Coast interior with the dark ash wood so it's kind of like a two-tone let's go inside and let's check out the Caribbean oh beep beep the horn works I adjusted my seat but I feel like I'm way too close I'm gonna have to back up a little bit so for my rivian I did get the launch edition I got the rivian blue I also got the quad motor all-wheel drive I got the 22 inch sport dark Wheel and Tire and we do have the large battery pack uh this is the ocean coast and dark ash wood interior this was something that they added later on and I was absolutely obsessed with because it is just so so nice so I'm very excited um this is just all very overwhelming I love the two-tone steering wheel this is the dark ash wood and here we have the ocean Coast interior and like I said since this is launch edition we do have the yellow accents here's where we've got the cup holders very important we have the speaker under here love this base down here because this is where basically I I'm gonna put like my cameras and probably a lot of my gear huge center console space like I can fit my entire arm in here this expands out from the door so I can shove a bunch of stuff in here I love this screen as well we have a huge screen I just connected my Spotify so here's where we can access all of the things I can fold my mirrors I can adjust my wheel unlock passenger windows we have heated and cooling seats in the front I just turned on my heat which I actually don't want to do I could open the charge port so we have the cabin lights we've got the display absolutely obsessed with little gear guard guy I think he's so cute so we can set up the drive cam record your entire drive to a storage device two minute Clips can be captured on demand and saved to the drive cam incidents we also have motion cam absolutely want motion cam on and an alarm so right now I can get 303 miles all types of stuff up here guys I'll be doing doing obviously some more videos when we hit the road but here's where we can change sport mode conserves no off-road or Towing we can also raise and lower the car so right now it's on standard but we can raise it up or lower it but let's go hop in the back and uh let's see what the middle row is like shall we also one of the things I love about the rivian is the huge like panoramic um ceiling you can't really see it here right now it's kind of an overcast crappy day but it's great all right let's get in the back I got the big wheels which is actually worse for energy consumption because it uses more power so you get less miles I didn't think it was a big deal let's hope that somewhere down the line I didn't need those like 20 or so extra miles so we're now in the middle seat originally when you could pre-order these you could pre-order it with seven or five seats for passengers they then changed it so that they were only seven passengers which is fine because you can put the back row down but here in the middle row uh we have a cup holder which is nice it comes down you can put your drinks you do have four usbc's back here if you have one in each of the back of the seats as well as two right here on the screen we have this nice display back here where you know people can mess with their air settings and these also do have heated seats we should probably get in the back seat right what else do we have back here it's very cozy like look how much space I have lounging so now we're in the back of the rivian this is two seats back here which make it obviously seven seats uh pretty cozy pretty comfortable the armrests up here lift up which is nice you have some storage you also have USBC you have cup holders um and in the back there's also Chargers as well that you can access now the question that everybody always wanted to know was how much space is in the back of the rivion r1s so let's see I'm five six and um I have like long legs but like obviously not that long but I have so much space so even if this came back a little bit I still have a lot of space one of my favorite things about this is this little ledge that kind of stays up so many times I've opened a trunk and all of my gear and stuff just falls out so we got the back here she went through it before where we opened this up we have the air compressor we have a first aid you can also take this out where there's more storage or you can put um obviously or you can put you know another extra spare tire you can put these seats down from back here you could put 300 pounds on here so let's put these seats down okay and put down all the seeds to really see how much space you could have in here oh man get real cozy we'll do this make it nice and even you could probably fit I would say a full-size mattress here so if you want to do some camping I can do it the craziest thing about electric vehicles is that it is so quiet like the car is on right now it is on and you can't even hear it okay I haven't driven posty not now Josh posty haven't driven an electric vehicle actually I think since I've driven the rivian r1s which was a year ago but I forgot what the regenerative braking is like you don't have to hit the brake God that's so nice what a superior vehicle foreign [Music] thing I do love about the rivian is it does have a front camera as well as a back camera and we have the 360 overhead uh it's it's great it is absolutely great having a front camera see that front camera I absolutely love it already can't wait to take you guys on some Adventures make sure you subscribe
