Picked up another race boat... Best purchase ever!

[Music] six hours we'll be there at 4 21. it's gonna be a long ride i'll see you guys when we're like by halfway there all right we're in georgia now not much to see welcome to south carolina it says we're hour 15. i'll be there at um 4 22 now i stopped um i stopped got some subway i'm just gonna keep on driving it'll be worth it 100 [Music] energy all right well we're two minutes away looks like we're in the middle of some fields and south i carolina no idea where i am we're almost there though so did you name it i six hours we're off right back where we just came from you gotta love it you gotta love it now let's just see if we can make it home look at this all right guys it's 12 15. we just rolled in the driveway so i'm trying to fail on the park this thing we made it see you tomorrow it's the uh next day after uh i got my boat got here like 12 30 last night but um i worked all day and we're taking this motor here now about a little over a um actually two years ago i want to say or a little bit over a year i drove to louisiana to get this thing and it's been sitting here pretty much ever since what the heck what the heck is that doing there well i haven't seen this side in a while all right i need to come back and work on this thing we got everything fixed just needs paint early in the morning get that done the time has come we are putting this sport master lower unit on here that right there is the pickup pickup hole for water and it's got a nice chunk taken out of it here but it's all i got right now to put on it but i think it it's fine supposedly this one's my dad's he ordered he bought it from a friend and supposedly he drove back to the ramp and i think it's still got oil in it so it should be gucci i think it just got a big old chunk out of it so i just put the pickup tube in there put that little sucker on we're gonna put this up in there and she should be ready to go put the prop on it looks so good out here in the sun oh i don't see much coming on there yeah now she's draining when you fill it all up you put the um the top plug in it and you can take the bottom plug out and it won't drain that's why i wouldn't drink bump her up until she starts coming out up there [Music] the next day i'm fixing to pull the lower unit off since yesterday we failed at the boat ramp on pumping water we're gonna have to take this thing down and the impeller is like right right here oh yeah and the motor was way too low so jack plates all the way down and we're on the third hole huh this thing's kind of fully it should work [Music] so [Music] so you're thinking it's not getting hot enough and opening the thermostat one of the ports is blocked off something fell out yeah okay so democrats are out of it thermostats are out yeah there's no thermostat well so put in there as a restrictor in there [Music] all right [Music] yeah i know so what do you think it was it needed to be revved yeah because i mean i gave it a couple revs like that you think we should should we take this side off check make sure there ain't no bugging out probably fine i don't think it was the bug [Music] well [Music] so we're up an inch here on the jack plate we just want two holes that's another inch right yeah so two inches we're trying to get the center the lower unit i think level with the bottom of the boat so [Music] uh [Music] there we go so hey you want this camera here [Music] uh it's time [Applause] uh well guys that's a wrap we're heading out of here if you've made it this far in the video thanks for watching don't forget to like and subscribe i definitely had fun i hope you guys enjoyed definitely happy good purchase i'm in love with it with me if you ride with me you can slide with me if you feel like 550 on the fast
