Photoshop Elements 2024 How To Fix Camera RAW Importing Issues

YouTube Welcome Back my friends once again to Photoshop Elements TV to all the new subscribers out there thank you so much for joining me here on Photoshop Elements TV and you know I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2024 and I think I can show that to you here let me see here help uh no uh let's go here first let's click here let's click help uh it's not showing me there let's go to about organizer and you can see here yes it is Adobe Elements organizer 2024 now what what I would want to do this video about today is very simple try to get out of there okay very simply is as the title I'm sure gave it away but I was importing my files into the new organizer and lo and behold I found that it won't import them I was like wait a minute what's going on here so let's go ahead I'm going to show you this I'm going to importer files and folders all right and look I got raw aw a RW files these are coming out of my Sony a6000 camera and they won't import there's no way to get these to import jpegs will import fine but you're like why will my Raw photos not import well I stumbled upon the solution so I wanted to share that with you today so what you need to do and you can't see it on my screen here the way the screen is cut but go under the help menu and you're simply going to go down to on the bottom it says install camera raw all right put your super secret computer password in and apparently raw is not installed when you're installing Elements which is really really weird so we're going to click on continue here and see if we can't install camera raw so it's support for new cameras and lenses we have to install camera raw to get this to work all right install conflict uh please save your work close it following programs login users El organizers okay uh so I got to click close the organizer to get this to work so let me do that let's close the organizer okay uh skip it this time and we're going to go ahead and click continue on that I get rid of this screen here is working on some other stuff there so there it's installing it's going to take 22 minutes I'm going to pause this and I'll come back to you okay depending on your internet speed it will take a little bit of time to download mine took about 20 minutes to end install the uh actual raw plugin that uh the organizer needs so let's go ahead now and see if can we import the files uh here a RW these are from my Sony my Sony a6000 I'm going to see if I can just select them all yes I can and uh we're going to click on get media and now Imports your raw files just fine let's see here it takes a little time to load raw because they are really really large files and I just want to uh get these loaded up here this is actually a trip that we took a while back we went to Maine so uh it was a clam box was very good place to eat clams so there we go and uh let's see here so now we can actually uh take one of these files we can uh zoom them in okay everything works perfectly fine we can go into uh the motorcycle picture here which cool bike picture and we double click it and uh yes it's going to load up here for us uh again remember it takes a little time to load raw images but there you go on there it's loaded we can right click on it now we can open it in our editor and we are good to go go so folks I hope this helped you uh to get your raw files actually loaded into Photoshop Elements this is elements 2024 first time I've ever experienced the uh raw plugin not being installed so if you shooting camera raw and you're trying to get your photos in Photoshop Elements 2024 that is the trick once again go up under help just go up under help and install camera raw and uh menu will come up here put in your super secret password and um the installer will load for you to load your additional uh plugins you need and I already have it loaded so we're not going to load it again so we're good I'm just going to close it I'm just going to quit that and get out of there all right I hope this has helped you if you're not subscribed to the channel why not click on that subscribe button uh and again thank you so much to all the new subscribers uh you very much enlightened me uh to get this channel underway and and we're going to start doing some really amazing uh Photoshop Elements edits and I will be using the new Photoshop Elements 2024 all right so until next time keep your shutters clicking keep your editors editing and I'll see you back here very soon on Photoshop Elements TV thanks for watching and I'll see you then
