I don't wanna be caught up inside your self-righteous cell for me I would rather let this go and to bring it up again [Music] in this tutorial I am gonna show you how to create this awesome looking photo slideshow animation inside of After Effects with seamless slide transitions so I am we cash for a skyline motion calm and without any further ado let's take a new project and get started alright so let's start by creating a new composition so click on this new composition and this is going to be our main composition so let's call it main and set it 1920 by 1080 framerate 30 and duration make it 5 second long which is good enough for one slide and hit OK and now let's take one more composition that is going to be our media placeholder where we can drag our image or video file that we want to use in this project so just go to this composition and take a new composition and let's call it media and set it 1920 by 1080 frame rate 30 duration make it 5 second long and hit OK and now let's import an image file so just go to this project window right click on that click on import file and select your image file so in this case I am using this image that I have given a link in the description so go to the link and download this image if you want and click on import and drag this image into this media composition and hit s on the keyboard to open this scale property and let's fit this image according to our composition size and then go to your main composition and let's import this media comp into this main composition and let's apply some effect on it so go to effect and preset and search for tint and let's apply this change on this image and set this amount of paint 50% and make it like this and let's add one more effect so go to effect and preset and search for directional blur and apply this directional blur on this image and set this blur length value something around thirty eight inter and so this direction 60 degree and let's apply one more effect so go to effect and preset and search for curves and let's apply these curves on this image and select this blue Channel and set this blue graph like this and now I'm gonna create a scale animation so select this media comp hit S on the keyboard to open this scale property and hold shift and press R on the keyboard to open this rotation also and go to the end of this animation and set this scale value one zero five percent and click on the stopwatch button to create a keyframe on a scale and click on this stopwatch button also to create a keyframe on a rotation and go to very beginning of this animation and just set this scale value one 25% and set this rotation negative five degree and hit enter and we get this type of animation as you can see and now close this layer and right click on that click on rename and let's call it media one hit enter and now I'm going to be eight or sleep animation so select this rectangle tool and set this field to solid color and select this color pure white and hit OK and turn off this stroke and let's create a sheep so just drag it like this and get a nice rectangular shape and select the span behind tool and set this anchor point in the center of this rectangular shape like this and let's call it sheep hit enter and open this rectangle one open this rectangle path 1 and go to this size and unlink this X&Y size and set this Y value 1000 and said this X 300 and hit enter and open this transform rectangle 1 and set this position something around negative 500 hit enter and said this y position 0 and hit enter and said this is Q value 25 maybe and hit enter and make it like this and now close this transform rectangle 1 and i'm gonna animate this size so guru on 3 second and select the shape and select the span behind tool again and set this anchor point in the center of this shape like this mixture or snapping is turned on and now click on this a stopwatch button to create a keyframe on size property and go to very beginning of this animation and said this y value 0 and hit enter and as you can see we get this type of linear animations so just select these both keyframe hit f9 to easy is them and go to your graph editor if you graph it it or not looking like this in right click on that and check this option edit a speed graph and then select this point and hold this handle and just drag it like this and hold this handle also and just set it like this and create a nice smooth curve and close this graph editor and go to very beginning of this animation and let's play list and as you can see we have a nice smooth animation and go to very beginning of this animation and select this rectangle one hit ctrl C to copy and let's create four different copy of this rectangle so select this shape hit control V to paste and select this again hit control V and select this again press control V and as you can see we have four different copy of this rectangle and now open this rectangle too and open this rectangle path one and let's change the position so go to the end of this animation and just change exposition over here and set this value something around 310 and set this Y value 90 maybe and hit enter and close this rectangle too and open this rectangle one and just share this Y value negative 98 enter and close this rectangle 1 and now do the same thing for rectangle 3 and rectangle 4 so open this rectangle 3 and open this rectangle path 1 and just set this x value over here and set this value something around 620 hit enter and just this Y value in negative 90 and now close this rectangle path 1 and close this rectangle 3 and now open this rectangle 4 and open this rectangle path 1 and just this position over here and set this value 930 and just set it like this and so this Y value 90 and hit enter all right and now close this rectangle 4 and close this shape layer and go to very beginning of this animation and let's play this again and as you can see we get this type of safe animation and now let's create one more copy of this media so hit ctrl D to duplicate and select this media too and just delete this directional blur effect and set this tint amount 100% and hit enter and make it pure black and white and so this graph like this alright and now I want to place this image inside of this shape layer so just place this media to below this shape layer and just go to this track mat if you can't see this track matte option then click on this toggle switches and select this media - and it's in this track matte - alpha matte alright and we get this type of effect as you can see and now let's create a drop shadow effect so select the shape and hit ctrl D to duplicate and right click on that click on rename and let's call it shadow hit enter and turn on the visibility of this shadow and go to effect and preset and search for drop shadow and let's apply this drop shadow on this shadow layer and let's change some settings so set this distance value 15 hit enter and say the softness 100 hit enter and let's down the opacity of this drop shadow so I'm gonna set this value to 25% and hit enter all right and just select this shadow layer and placed it below this media - composition and we get this type of drop shadow effect as you can see all right and now select these both layers and let's create a duplicate of this so hit ctrl D to duplicate and select this media 3 and just delete this tint effect and now let's create a time gap in these layers so select this media tree and save to and move this on frame number 15 which is equal to half a second according to 30 fps so just drag it like this and go to very beginning of this animation and let's play this again alright and it's looking much more better as you can see and now let's do one more thing just select this media - and hit U on the keyboard to open these active keyframes and go to the end of this animation where we have created a keyframe and just change this scale value 110 percent and go to very beginning of this animation and change this value to 130 percent and hit enter and we get this type of scattering effect and now let's highlight the edges of this shape layer so select a shadow it ctrl D to duplicate and right click on that click on rename and let's call it a stroke hit enter and just drag this stroke over on this shape to and select this stroke and delete this drop shadow effect and select this rectangle tool and change this color pure black and hit OK all right and now let's apply a bevel alpha effect on it so whole effect and preset and search for bevel alpha and let's apply this bevel alpha on this stroke layer and just change this light intensity something around 0.68 in toe and we get this type of edges as you can see and now let's make this black portion transparent so select this stroke and change to a screen mode and we get this as is only as you can see and now go to very beginning of this animation and let's play this again alright so it's looking nice and now I'm gonna create our text so select this text tool and let's type anything whatever you want to type and select this line and turn on this button and just select this upper line and change this font style to freestyle script and you can download this one style from the link in the description and just select this line and set this value something around 200 pixel and hit enter and let's add a space like this and now select this text hit S on the keyboard to open this a scale property and let's scale it down and so this value something around 70% and hit enter and just said it like this alright and now I'm gonna animate the text so just select this Pan behind tool and said this anchor point in the center of this text and now hit R on the keyboard to open this rotation property and go to the end of this animation and click on this a stopwatch button to create a keyframe on a rotation property and go to very beginning of this animation and just set this rotation value negative 5 degree and hit enter alright and now let's add one more animation so open this text layer and close this transform and click on this animate button and add an opacity and set this opacity zero percent hit enter and go to on to second and open this range selector and Harwich start parameter so set is a start value 100% and hit enter and click on this stopwatch button to create a keyframe on a start property and go back to very beginning of this animation and set this start value 0 and hit enter and we get this type of X animation and now open this advanced and here is randomized order so turn on this randomized order and close this advance and let's play this again and we get this type of effect which is looking very nice and select these both keyframes hit f9 to easy is them and close this range selector and close this text layer and I'm gonna create a light leak effect so we have to take a new solid layer so go to layer new and take a new solid or you can also hit control Y to take a new solid and let's call it light hit enter and now let's apply a fractal noise effect on it so go to effect in preset and search for fractal noise and drag this fractal noise on this solid layer and let's change some settings so change this brightness value negative 58 enter and set this complexity to hit enter and open this transform and let's scale it up and so do the scale value something around 1208 inter and now I'm gonna animate this evaluation so I'm going to add our time expression on this evaluation parameter so hold alt on the keyboard and click on the stopwatch button to open this expression box and let's type a time expression so I'm going to type time x 208 inter and let's play this and we get this type of effect all right and now close this light layer and close this fractal noise and let's apply a hue and saturation effect on it and drag this un saturation on this solid layer and check this option colorize and set this caller-id saturation 100 hit enter and now select nice color and let's search in this blending mode normal to screen and we get this type of effect which is looking very nice as you can see and now I'm gonna add our particles effect on it so go to project window and let's import a particle file so right click on this project window go to import file and I'm gonna use this a particle file that I have downloaded from pixabay.com and I will provide a link in the description so go to the link and download this particles and click on import and drag this particle file into this main composition and change this blending mode to screen and go to very beginning of this animation and let's play this and now I'm gonna create a seamless slide transition for this slideshow so I'm gonna create a new composition so auto composition take a new composition and this is gonna be our final composition so let's call it final and let's import this main composition into this final composition and select this band behind tool and set this Anchor Point in this corner and go to on one second and hit R on the keyboard to open this rotation property and click on the stopwatch button to create a keyframe on a rotation property and go to very beginning of this animation and set this rotation value negative in ninety degree hit enter and go to on for second and click on this button to add one more keyframe on for second and go to the end of this animation and set this value 90 degree and hit enter alright and now select all the keyframes hit f9 on the keyboard to easy is them and go to your graph editor and select this point and hold this handle and just drag it like that and create a nice a smooth curve and do the same thing for this one also so select this point and just drag it like this alright and now close this graph editor and go to very beginning of this animation and let's play this and now let's select this main composition and go to effect and preset and search for motion tile and let's apply this motion tile on this main composition and just change this output worth 500 hit enter and say this output height 500 hit enter all right and now check this option mirror edges and we get this type of effect as you can see and now I'm going to create an adjustment layer so just go to layer new and take a new adjustment layer and right click on that click on rename and let's call it blur hit enter and let's apply a directional blur effect on it so go to effect and preset in search for directional blur and let's apply this directional blur on this blurred layer and go to on one second and click on this a stopwatch button to create a keyframe on blur length and go to very beginning of this animation and set this blur length value 100 hit enter and go to on for second and select this blur hit you on the keyboard to open these active keyframes and click on this button to add one more keyframe on for a second and go to the end of this animation and just set this blur length value 108 enter alright and now select all the keyframes and hit f9 to easy is them and go to your graph editor and let's create a nice smooth curve like this and select this point and just drag it like this and written eyes a smooth curve and close this graph editor alright and now close this law and close this main composition and now it's almost done so go to very beginning of this animation and go to full screen and let's have a look all right so it's looking awesome and that's all for this tutorial guys I hope you like it if you like it then hit the subscribe button and click
