hey guys it is monday august 24th i've got about 17 or 18 ebay orders to ship out so let's get to work first thing i went ahead and pulled from my storage unit this is a yearbook got it about a year ago i think it's from 1971. only paid a dollar two for it so for 29.99 plus shipping i'd like selling yearbooks because the return is so high you can get them for real cheap and sell for like 20 downside is they take a long time to sell it's one of the few items that really if you lower the price it's not going to make it sell any faster you're just waiting for that person to come along and that went to the school and you know i was looking for the yearbook so if you can get them cheap dollar two dollars i say pick them up all right next thing is up here in d1 this is a tony perez bobble head i got quite a few of these maybe a month ago or so just a bunch of different random reds players this one right here sold for 13.99 plus shipping and i've got about three dollars into it thanks business really hope you like these figures it's tuesday morning i've got a dozen ebay orders to ship out but first i'm going to answer some of your questions all right first is from senate deakin uh if someone purchases multiple items how you calculate the shipping so in my opinion the easiest way to do it is have them buy everything they're going to buy and then you can box it all up and get an exact weight and all that stuff and refund them the difference in shipping it's pretty easy to do especially now that um ebay is taking over managed payments you don't have to go through paypal anymore at least for most people anyways so what i do is i calculate the price i buy the label and it gives me you know what it is and then i deduct the amount that they already paid and then in the ebay page you just hit for you know under the item you just hit send refund super easy to do so that's the way i've been doing it next is from dustin he asks when you sell golf clubs do you sell the bag as well or do you take it to play it against sports or what do you do with it have always wanted to know that so if you guys don't know about play against sports i actually used to work there for a really long time and i still taking stuff from time to time just things that i don't want to mess with or don't want to put on ebay um it really depends on the situation i'd say like nine times out of ten the bag that comes with the clubs isn't even worth selling like plate again won't take it and there's just not a market for you know junky old golf bags so i usually just donate them yeah most of the time if it's a if it's a decent bag and i know they're gonna buy it i'll just take it to them because golf bags aren't very well suited for ebay if it's a high-end bag and it's going to bring some money then i'll go ahead and do it and try to find a box for it and everything like that but most of the time i'm either donating it or taking it to play against sports all right next is from jim he asks what barcode or scanner app do you use at sales um so on my most recent garage sale video i was scanning two different things i think and i use the ebay app so it's it's pretty easy to do you just open it up you want to just click on this little search bar and then right up here you tap on that camera and you can use a barcode or you can do like a photo search photo search doesn't work too well for me but the barcode has worked really well that's just a quick easy way to like search a barcode at a garage sale you will at least give you some indication of whether or not it's worth paying what they're asking the thing i scanned i think at the sale was a ninja turtle lego set they wanted 40 dollars for it and i was just curious just to see what i was going for and it was like roughly 40 bucks so you know they priced it right all right time to ship some items first thing is right here went ahead and pulled this i just listed this yesterday sold within a few hours i got two pieces of uh bose um stereo equipment at a garage sale last week and i paid twenty dollars so i've got ten dollars into this one this is the acoustic wave music system doesn't have the remote if i had the remote to be worth a little bit more but as it was it sold for 119.99 plus shipping next is right here in d4 these are some uh dvds it was a german print this is the same guy that did the uh girl the dragon tattoo got these to gross show for a dollar they sold for 19.99 free shipping next thing is a mulan doll well i just sold something else okay i've got a milan doll somewhere floating around here here it is this is the disney animators collection i got this aggression for five dollars maybe a month ago i got listed for like 30 40 bucks something like that somebody said an offer of 25 plus shipping and i accepted all right next is back here at f1 let's go some more spark plugs um somebody bought a total of four so i had them listed in sets of two and they bought two lots i'm into these for about two dollars and the four sold for 19.98 free shipping i love finding stuff like this it might be a long tail it might take a while to sell but i love finding small stuff that i can get for cheap that doesn't take up a lot of space it's easy to ship and i can do a multi-quantity listing i mean i think i've had like 200 or 300 different spark plugs and it maybe took me like six or seven listings so minimal work and good return so keep an eye out for any kind of like you know small cheap stuff uh new old stock that you can find that would be a good seller all right next thing is a license plate in b1 it is an army license plate you guys have probably seen me sell a lot of these the last few weeks and i sold another one got about i don't know maybe five cents into it because i got so many of these and a bulk buy this sold for 8.99 free shipping that license plate is going up to viewer name ryan he says long time viewer and infantrymen getting out of the army in two months
