COTTAGE STYLE THRIFT WITH ME + HAUL | THRIFTING FOR SUMMER COTTAGE DECOR 2024 🇺🇸

[Music] welcome back to my Channel friends and thank you all so much for joining me for a brand new video I'm super excited because today I'm going to bring you along thrifting I'm ready to start incorporating some summer Decor into our home and I started to pull out a few things but I want to head out today and look for some more inspiration I want to go to some thrift stores and antique shops and just see if I can find some more summer inspiration and maybe pick up a few more pieces to add in to our home for this season so I really hope that you enjoy coming along with me and that you are able to find some inspiration in this video as well and I will see you as soon as we get to the very first thrift [Music] store okay my very first stop on this day was a Peddler's Mall and on my hunt for summer pieces I spotted this large set of Liberty blue dishes this is a great deal for how many pieces that are are included in this set they are all in such nice condition so if you're wanting a full set of Liberty blue this would be a really great option I also just love pretty baskets and as soon as I spotted this one I had to pick it up and share it it's such a pretty little basket and I also really loved these sponge wear salt and pepper shakers [Music] while having my eye out for pretty summer finds I of course had to look at the straw and wicker bags I loved this large bag right here it is so perfect for summer I do not need another one but this was such a nice size so I had to share it and it was only $10 it's the perfect Summer tote and then I also really loved this brass wascon that was in this booth as well this is one of my favorite booths in this feather's mall and I thought this was such a pretty [Music] piece okay my next stop was Goodwill I spotted these Johnson Brothers Rose teacups and little saucer however I did decide to leave these behind because they were a little bit more than I wanted to spend and I didn't really need them at the moment I do come across this pattern quite often while I'm thrifting so I knew that I would probably see them again so I decided to leave them behind and then I spotted some of these Wexford um little cups that go with a punch bowl and like I said in the Wexford pattern for 9 cents each and then I came across these beautiful floral plates these are made in USA and it came with four of them for $5.99 they're really really [Music] pretty next at Goodwill I decided to look through some of the clothing I kept seeing really pretty pajamas and I Loved These Ralph Lauren ones with the blue and white stripes they are cotton and they were so comfortable the best material and just the prettiest color however they were too short on me and I just knew that I wouldn't really be comfortable in them so I did leave them behind I also really loved this pajama shirt it was so comfy and then this floral one as well it was vintage and it had the daintiest little light blue floral pattern so so pretty I tried several of these on but I only ended up bringing home one of the pieces that I loved that fit really well that I knew I would get a lot of use out of but here's a little look at a few of the pieces I tried on and now I'm at my favorite Consignment SL Thrift Shop Baron River Consignment and we're going to look through all of their beautiful pieces they had out a ton of blue and I loved this blue willow teapot and the Blue Willow cream and sugar [Music] and then I also had several bundles of creamers and these are just so so pretty such a good deal that you get all of these for one price they're all different patterns and different styles but they're just so pretty I also thought this floral picture was gorgeous and they had a few of these just such a pretty piece for cottage home and then I spotted this blue Croc picture and fell in love with this it's just such a nice little Croc picture and would be so gorgeous with florals inside and then I also spotted a couple more blue Croc pieces and I thought these were really pretty so I wanted to get a clip of them as well I really loved this large Blue pict picture and again thought this would be so pretty for summer [Music] [Music] decorating another piece that would be so pretty in your summer decorating is this blue and white picture it was $1 1999 this was over in the clearance section how beautiful would this be with some blue or white hydranges in it for summer or just some Greenery or fresh flowers I just had so many ideas in mind when I saw this for a beautiful centerpiece um and it would look gorgeous like on a big kitchen island and then I also spotted these bowls and I love the little cottage scene that that one had on the front so so pretty and again this is another little bundle of bowls for a really good price and you just get such a good variety of different pieces and they are just perfect for a cottage kitchen and then I also loved this little mug here with the pink flowers on it for only $1.99 [Music] [Music] [Music] 2 [Music] oh [Music] the [Music] [Music] again I just love their clearance section you never know what you might find in here and this was a set of four Roseville Ohio plates for only $4.99 for all of them I felt like that was a really good deal because I don't see these often and I really love anything made by Roseville Ohio so I was excited to see [Music] those another piece I love that they had over in their clearance area is this large picture with the Floral Design This was only $9.99 such a good price on this and then before I left I spotted this brass lamp a little desk lamp and I thought it was so pretty so I wanted to include that such a unique find okay friends I'm back home now it is the next day and I'm gonna share with you everything that I picked up yesterday while we were out looking for summer decor and I'm really happy with the pieces that I was able to find and I feel like they're going to just really incorporate beautifully in our home for summer so I'm going to go ahead and get started with my favorite piece it's not only my favorite color but it's also one of my favorite type of vintage pieces to collect so that's why I'm so excited it's this beautiful Croc picture and again this is my favorite shade of blue so I just love this so much I think it's going to look so beautiful in our little cottage style home and I can Envision some beautiful florals in this and I'm thinking about putting it on our little kitchen eating table I think that's just going to be really pretty because it's a nice small size and I also grabbed some florals today that I think will look really pretty in this that are very patriotic and just really pretty for summer so I'll share those at the end but I think they're going to look pretty in here and I can't wait to see what that looks like this was $11.99 at my favorite consignment shop so I was very excited to spot that and then I also found almost everything except for a few things were from Goodwill but I found almost everything in that consignment shop because they just had out so many pretty pieces like usual and my next favorite find is this in incredible teapot it's a blue willow teapot This was um $24.99 which I feel like is just a steal for this um I have not looked these up but I know that these are hard to find and it's just so perfect for summer you all know my love for teapots I love to collect them so this is the perfect one for summer and it says Made in Japan on the bottom it's just so pretty in my very next video we're going to decorate for summer and I'm going to completely redo this whole Hutch and take everything out and redecorate it so I think that that's where this is going to go with all my other blue and white pieces but it might end up somewhere else we will see but that's my idea for it for now and this is not the only teapot that I found I also found another one and I just could not pass this one up it is so so pretty it's this gorgeous floral teapot this one was only $88.99 which I could not believe that price and this is made in Staffordshire England it's a crown D set I believe that's how you pronounce that teapot I just love the floral it's the prettiest little teapot for a cottage home and I think I want this to go in the kitchen so we will see I need to play around with all of this and again like refresh everything for summer which will be in my next video and then I'll um decide for sure where I want these pieces to go um so those are the first three things from that consignment shop and then I found these Roseville Ohio plates let me grab them it came in a set of four and here's what they look like I love the blue on them they're just really pretty heavy nice plates this is what the stamp looks like on the bottom it just says Roseville Ohio I thrifted a couple Roseville Ohio mugs recently and I don't know exactly where I'm going to put these yet but I had to grab them because they just match a ton of my other Crocs and pictures and things that I have in that cabinet so I might I don't know we'll see play around with these they were such a good price for all four of them so I was excited about that and then I only picked up two more things from that consignment shop the next thing is this flower pot this is not a vintage piece but I just fell in love with the blue and white stripes on it I love to Thrift my flower pots and I knew that I would use this somewhere inside or outside um for the summer and put a little plant in it so I went ahead and got that for only $3.99 and then the last thing I got from there is this Ball mason jar I really love the tall size of these I have a little collection of these as well that I use in the pantry and I will need to replace the seal on this but um for only I believe it was $1.99 I wanted to add this to the collection because I always see the small ones but I hardly ever see the tall ones that are this size and I love to use them for all sorts of different things in the pantry so I grabbed that and then that is everything from the consignment store in now we'll get into um the Goodwill finds my first Goodwill find is this beautiful scarf they had this UPF front in the cabinet displayed for the fourth with all the patriotic stuff and I asked her how much it was and she said that all their scarves are $1.99 and I was like yes I definitely want that how pretty is this I just love the print on here and the red and then let me see if I can find the tag it looks like it might be a vintage piece it says 100% pure silk so I thought this would just be gorgeous in a little Fourth of July or patriotic vignette that I'm going to do and I have this basket here that I thrifted a couple months ago and I thought it would be really pretty like tied around here I don't know exactly where I will display it yet but I just had to get that for only a .99 um to use in my summer Decor I found this gold makeup brush holder I'm going to use this on my vanity for makeup brushes and it was only $1.99 I love these really pretty gold pieces to go on my vanity and as soon as I found this the sweetest employee came up to me and Sandy if you're watching this thank you so much for being so kind so sweet to me and just making my day it's unreal to me that an employee of my all-time favorite local Goodwill watches my channel it was just so surreal and just thank you so so much um and she was excited that I was getting this because she had just put it out and she was so sweet I love love love meeting you um and so that was an exciting experience and then I also picked up a couple little clothing pieces that I thought I would share because they are very summery so the first piece are these gorgeous little pajama shorts these are from the stars above line at Target and they literally look brand new they were my size and they just feel so so comfy I've already washed everything so I'm excited to wear these I love the color and then I found these which are just the most I don't even know how to describe them they're just the most elegant looking pajama pants and I can't believe I found these at Goodwill for $1.99 unbelievable look at this beautiful blue color and the design on these again they literally look brand new I canot wait to wear these I feel like they're the perfect Bridgerton watching pajama pants so I love these so so so much and I could not believe that they fit perfect and they're the perfect length and um because I'm tall it's really hard to find pajama pants that actually go all the way to the ground and that are the right length so when I tried these on I couldn't believe that they were the right length and fit and I can't wait to wear those and then I found this unfortunately this little slip is not in my size but I'm going to style this in my Antique Booth I think that would be really pretty and I just love these vintage slips um with the little lace on them so that is why I got that and that is all the clothing and I believe everything that I found at Goodwill and next I will share with you my um summer floral finds so I found all of this Floral in Walmart and I could not believe the prices on this because I priced other stems at Joann's and Hobby Lobby and this is definitely the best price that I found for hydrangeas and they're this gorgeous gorgeous blue color I'm going to use some of our hydranges from my blush that I have out here um that is huge and there's lots of blooms on it but I also wanted to mix in some blues for summer so I grabbed I believe six of these and they were $198 each and I just think they look really nice I love these and then Walmart also had these they're a lot taller and these were I believe around 250 a stem I'll have to look back at the receipt but they were just a little bit more than the smaller ones and I'm just in love with the color of these they're a little bit lighter than these so I got just a mixture of the two to go around in different areas and I cannot wait to play around with these and see where I want them to go um I also thought that these taller ones might be really pretty in this basket and then like with the red scarf I thought that would be so so pretty so I'm going to be sharing all of this in like I said my very next video we're going to decorate for summer so definitely stay tuned for that but I'm really happy with these Walmart florals because again they were just so much more expensive for these blue hydrangeas and all the other places I checked and I was thankful that these were in stock and everything when I went so oh I also grabbed um another pack of these little American flags because I love to use these in my decorating and I put them like everywhere in summer and I'm going to te stain these just like I did all the other ones I have I already have several but I wanted to get just a few more to use in different areas in case I didn't have enough so this is what they look like after they have been tea stained it gives them a really beautiful vintage look and then there's what they look like before you stain them I just really love the te- stained look so so pretty I cannot wait to start putting some of these pieces together I'm really excited for summer decorating this year um I just feel I don't know excited to refresh the space and um make it patriotic and festive in here especially I think like with the new living room it just has me so inspired to um refresh spaces and redecorate change some things up I'm excited to redo both hutches take everything out and just give it all a new look for this new season so I hope that you enjoy coming along for that in my next video and I hope that you enjoyed shopping with me today to find a few new pieces that
