Pause Video or Hold/Freeze Frame in Shotcut

hello and welcome in a comment I get asked how to pause a frame but still continue with the timeline well it's easy just activate your timeline drag in your video put it on the timeline and find that frame that you would like to hold as we call it it should be not too blurry let's go with this now there is no filter for old frame as some of our video editors would have but that's some problem just go to file export frame and give it a nice filename now you will want to create a new video track and now just drag the image into shortcut and to this new track you can resize this image Orvis hold effect and if you wanted the video to actually pause you can split it and attach it later and you don't even need a new track for this then now all you go to do is export a video so I hope this helps please like and subscribe check out my other short cut tutorials and have fun editing ciao
