your best or not best your most memorable birthday as an adult my most memorable birthday as an adult probably be my 26th birthday okay yeah yeah yeah that was cool videos if anybody know I'm about to say like I did do you want to tell details or just say 26 and keep it moving I just that was probably my most wealthiest birthday so I was able to get the right reason I was able to do a lot and I was outside Heaven yeah everything was everything you got me over here turning knobs and stuff you had a part of that birthday I was wondering if that was a year because it's starting to run up what happened nah that's not it but yeah 100 that's that's probably the first birthday one of the birthdays that I like the whole day went perfect like nothing nothing um [Applause] I came out for that birthday everything was sweet it seemed like it was longer than that ten that was two yeah but that was that was no because coach yeah yeah we were just [ __ ] well Atlanta was actually it was just getting out of it yeah that's what I remember it was still a thing we had about four spots on that he was all over the place bro yeah and that's why I said everything went right because like it really was one of them things where I was I was floating yeah yeah and I was like yeah you know I'm calling people left and right everything last minute and it was that had to happen man everything was like gotcha boom boom boom boom boom and it was it just was lit everything was lit yeah everything is sometimes something about not having expectations like you talk about and having people who are willing to just go with the flow like that's what we're doing all right cool that's how I like doing that's how I like going about things anyway like I really don't like planning even outside of my birthday like I just don't like making plans just because [ __ ] happens and it's just I don't I don't care because I get too caught up in trying to make sure the plan goes right yeah make sure it happens to them where it just it becomes too much you know what I'm saying sorry I'd rather just I like spontaneous things because everyone likes it more than likely is more organic it just it just flows that's about you that's why I mean is this work foreign I said bro who who do I want to talk to in there right I said I really want to come here and do this work and leave yeah I don't really prefer not to talk to anybody else in this office at all at all respectfully yeah yeah no it's not a personal thing it's just it is a personal thing his biggest lessons I've learned working in the work field yeah the field can I can I post that question yeah all right lesson you learned in the work field I think mine was was like don't get too personal ever like never like I know now and y'all know how I know yeah you know what I mean just like totally separated like yeah even with the job I'm at now like the cats that it was funny because like when I first started working there like everybody was trying to give me the link up with a minute and I was kind of stand off but I finally linked up and I kicked it with him and then they started to make it like a normal thing like we oh every Friday let's go and I cut it off not everybody like you funny but in my world I'm like yo that was it we had to run yeah like I don't want you to feel like that's that's like a regular thing that's what we got yeah it was one of the things I came I came through I showed up yeah be good yeah because you don't you don't want to become known as a person it's like oh courts always got something to do with it when you go to these jobs don't don't be the guy don't be that guy don't [ __ ] over share that's another thing I'll be trying to explain people too yeah when you get sick these people is not your damn friends and anything you say you can't and will use it again chill out bro no I work somewhere for [ __ ] 12 years and I remember you said you know someone I've been working for 10 years I know like three things about you they say that about you yeah he was like I know you love [ __ ] New York Sports I was like yep because I ain't gonna never stop talking about that yeah but again that [ __ ] ain't personal right yeah or he lot of jets okay Who you gonna tell that to yeah how that's gonna hurt you right I'm a Jet fan you know what I mean like oh yeah I don't know about your family nothing you'll know you know everything ain't for everybody bro absolutely not at all and the other thing I wanted to run to y'all is that these places and especially the companies itself don't give a damn about you well let's be all the way negative on a Tuesday all right come on no that's that's the truth people say hey what have you learned I learned that because you know sometimes when you first get a job people like yo I'ma come in here I'm gonna do my best I'm gonna work hard know that [ __ ] then you realize uh-oh hey these businesses really don't even oh man they really don't I would I would I'll say a company but I don't even want to don't do it don't do it oh God it was totally not what I thought so the most interesting thing that happened to y'all this weekend this weekend hey nah man it was uh well y'all know man it's been a rough it's been a rough couple of weeks so I've been kind of I've been in the house with the exception of I finally got out last weekend that is true finally got up last weekend shout out to my boy Reed it was his birthday so I went and celebrated we did a run punch happy birthday read up [ __ ] I can't make it but you know this whole room really might be undefeated man what I'll talk that talk that talk listen really like we have a unified decision like you know how like there's a lot of places you've gone more you've been in Atlanta for a while now and you've been you've been you've been tearing this [ __ ] City apart right I was like but like there's very few places that you have been multiple times and like every time it go up yeah like some places you might go that [ __ ] that night and then somebody you'd be like yeah the crowd wasn't all that tonight yeah rum punch is not one of those places I am I think I'm disappointed at one punch at any point during the year closes its doors at all I don't care what the temperature is it could be freezing outside open the doors y'all need to do like I don't even know where I shut the doors they don't get that cold in Atlanta like that not for the Caribbean Community though man but no matter bro they're coming they've been they've been in America a long time they've been just saying like they just they they energy like that just the whole atmosphere and I would think I love about it is too is like like I don't know if it's the level of security or everybody's having such a good time it really don't be no [ __ ] like that no not at all you just really don't know right that's the best part like I've been here a bunch of times I really never seen them like yeah the energy just be on come from out of town you're like oh what you got to do on Sunday it's only one answer I feel like it's a commercial now but you're like yo there's only one answer like they earned that spot though like in that [ __ ] venue they at just fits like so well man like it was it went up when it was on Edgewood too but like that the venue they had now was just like yeah a venue that could work better like it's just with the different levels the outside part like where's that [ __ ] what you want you're on the rooftop we got that you want a basement what you need to dictate okay yes our peoples though people's peoples yeah what's up yeah I was supposed to go this past Sunday but I had I had a gig that morning and I had to get that night so I had to sleep at some point because I DJ Saturday night what is that and then I was like I was burnt out by Sunday you know how much I know you had a good time no I know you made a poster any poster on the main page look at this look at this come here because any of the other Wheels pulls it would be like this oh you get it you get a 2011 Instagram that's it so like iPhone so like iPhone but this past weekend no I'm glad you had a good time I wish I could have made it but but they had to sleep I really did you got to send the all call man yeah my bad I really don't like going outside with my friends though yeah I mean what's up all right that's definitely why uh oh I just noticed that that's definitely why um people come to the Caribbean spot bro so much right but that's all it's that but it's also why you see so many um r b and slow jam parties working out right now because that's encouraging it because a lot of music now and me talking to get off my DJ soapbox real quick once the focus of the bpms change from the 90 to 100 to the 110s down to the 50s and 60s and and maybe late 70s it was it's not the same energy it makes you want to stand around and not dance and do things like that you know what I'm saying so yeah like I said it's also I think it's also part of age thing um I solely think it's the music solely yeah say more I think I just think the music the Cadence the energy the frequency of it is just and then seeing real genuine Caribbean people in there like Caribbean people dance like they they they do that for real you know what I'm saying that's why I say that Community specifically is drawing in the city yeah you get what I'm saying like a lot of people that's in there that's not necessarily familiar with it yeah they coming through just because they the Caribbean Community as well is making it like that you get what I'm saying yo and it's the music that make people see other people dancing you see everybody everybody groove it you just want to get into them as much as I love my [ __ ] yesterday today is Tuesday it was yesterday the back to school Festival that uh little baby and I forget the name of actual Foundation his little baby gooder um I think it's Dominique I forget the last name Foundation Wilkins thank no it's not Wilkins it's not I would remember that but that's why I didn't say Wilkins because I knew it wasn't Wilkins but anyway so it was at the West End right and I believe this is the second and third year they've done it um on that level right so it's my first year that I DJ'd it okay um so shout out to go to glad to be back with family once again but just the amount of focus and energy and things that little baby and his team created to give back so y'all been to the West End Mall yes right so on the Outside Alone Carnival carnival rides um I'd swear it was a dunk tank somewhere the little water gun things that where the balloons go and you win a prize they had Dad they had um uh uh portable basketball they had um I think it was Footaction or somebody they had a little mini Booth outside just giving stuff out to people um all of that stuff's going on merry-go-rounds everything right but then I kind of find out on the inside he's doing free haircuts he's got he don't bought out Foot Locker so giving out shoes to people who registered and getting free shoes so every part and of course I'm sorry let me say it as well every on the school supplies free backpacks all of that every part that you would need when it comes to back to school personal grooming sneakers going there with good energy you got fed you know what I'm saying good it was doing the free groceries you know what I'm saying American Deli was giving away free food on the inside was all encompassed so I was telling somebody yesterday I was like yo he literally they bought out the mall and I thought he owned it I don't know does he that's news to me thank you why you do that that may have been so but I I have a way to that extent that it was so well done in 150 degree Heat and one of the things was that really um brought it home like halfway through the afternoon like two o'clock I'm out there DJing we rocking um this lady comes up to me while I'm DJing because I'm right by the stage so she comes up to me she was like man I don't know what I was gonna do and she just randomly starts talking to me like we weren't even talking she's renting she just goes right inside I don't know what I would have done and I was like oh so you got your Snickers and everything she was like but yeah I didn't have any money for my kids to go back to school with so if I didn't come here and get their book bags and get the sneakers get their haircut yeah she was like I really literally had no clue what I'm gonna do she's about to make me start crying because I could see how sincere she was and I should have had a talk but I didn't want to you know have a talk on camera about it but I'm sure she would have done it because she was very open about how grateful she was so that just made it made it less hot for a minute I I swear I I cooled off a little bit after hearing that and just the way like the sincerity of where people are at right now man it's something else man so yeah I said it on my stories and things like that but yeah shout out little baby shout out to good because that was the other big thing like the lines are long wherever you went because a lot of people right like if you know Western more it was on the to the left or the east side of the mall like right by the street the line started there and when I got there it went past in front of them all down and around the corner over back to where Planet Fitness is so if you know Westland Mall in Atlanta that's how long the line was right and this is at 10 o'clock in the morning or 11. but they hadn't been lining up from at least 9 30. if not earlier I didn't close that's right yo if that's at least a half a mile you know what I'm saying so all of that was encompassed and it was just seeing people just being appreciative I love it oh and then when little baby got there and just seeing the people and how much they were showing it was like I was like yo this is something else man you just love to see like I mean there's something that we highlight all the time um both through your organization hip-hop gives back and everything else it's just like that that especially when it's your neighborhood you know what I mean like so he not he not in L.A doing this you know what I mean like I'm in Atlanta and I'm gonna take I'm gonna make sure everybody yeah like and then the bot then to buy enough because we've been there we've been to other give backs where it's like hey cats gave what they could give like hey I got 100 book bags bro that's what I had to give so like I'm giving it yeah you know I mean and salute to them too but like just the ability to put your money where your mouth is and not only talk about that listen this is my community I'm gonna make sure they're taken care of yeah to put that much into it yeah that much like two way I'm gonna bring a carnival here I'm gonna feed y'all not like I ain't gonna buy no no sandwiches like American Deli over here give them what they want hey Foot Locker crazy whatever scenes y'all got in here if they want it and they signed up for this I know they give them sneakers crazy like just for the life American Deli I'm sorry go ahead like to just do that and own come inside of a mall like I don't know what I'm saying as well I remember that um it was just a lot in a good way yeah yeah and I know how good to give it up because they go crazy no matter what they involve the abundance of it man so yeah that was the most interesting thing that happened this weekend that's fine oh I think I got more I had a good weekend I ain't gonna lie because we also did real quick and we're gonna get to the get to the other stuff that we want to talk about um wild and experience well I didn't experience is something that I I get to be a part of at uh new mercies Church up in cornet shout out to them shout out to uh uh homie Lawrence are even bringing me in um side of something Yankee so basically it's the it's their take on wild 'n out and I've talked about it because we've done it before so this is like a like a religious world no no yeah so to speak yeah religious spirit whatever words you want to use just replace everything that I'll see on Wildland now which is a little more risque and it's this is more about um spreading the word and and positivity and things like that so this is a one two three this is a third or fourth one I've done with them so basically I get to be d-wrapped yeah and you know what I'm saying in this version of it and just seeing how it's all put together so this was first time we did it or they've done it with the uh the youth summer camp because you know PBS so yeah all that was going on so yeah so that was though that we got to do that on Saturday so we got to play you know the middle of the game um kick him out the classroom yes they remixed that and they call it kick them out the church View I like it so yeah I'm chewing gum in the church for you and it goes on to the next version so just like that the same oh that's fire it's dope man so it's the energy from that that's one in the game we had about like five or six games yeah so that was the other dope thing man but like I said I had a good weekend bro hang on and complaining about so let's talk about some negativity to make will feel better that's fine come on yeah man that's crazy because like I'm gonna go a religious thing right here because I just I was on the phone with a friend of mine who grew up uh Seventh-day Adventist like I did right and it's just and I was telling her about the energy like that like damn I kind of missed like that church when I was younger and like how they like they made you kind of want to be there yeah like I was like because it wasn't it wasn't not fun to me you know I gotta go to church I'm like yeah but like it's about to be fun like I don't know what I don't know what church y'all going to like me ill my friends go there like my cousin's Ogo like it's gonna be fun so it's like a little mini like so when I hit him like like try to like make it cool for kids without without pushing the envelope over the edge yeah like that's fly man I like that yeah yeah that's how you're gonna get people and keep people in it if this if that's what they said and that's the goal because when the first time you called me about it and I'm listening to him I'm like bro I'm thinking this I ain't telling me I'm thinking I'm like bro I don't know I don't know how this is gonna go with your pain but the amount of effort and commitment I can hear what they was doing from you anybody yes all right I did so the story was this um seven inmates in Connecticut uh they become the first graduates of the college degree program in Yale while being incarcerated so I'm gonna be honest with you I didn't even know this was a thing for you yeah I didn't even know they were involved in like because I don't know if you like we've heard more more often than like a lot of these uh facilities are getting rid of like College Programs yeah like they're cutting because they don't want it yeah so shout out to Yale which was and the fact that it was Yale and other than that kind of caught my eye was like damn like normally I don't be giving a [ __ ] if I'm being honest especially but not with nobody less underprivileged because of like this Ivy League school I mean a big Ivy League school you know underprivileged well not is that the wrong word I'm looking for maybe uh uh yeah it's not very dark okay it's a good that's to say yeah is that a safer way of saying it yeah it's pretty light out there you're right good thing we got rid of affirmative affirmative action anyway oh out there we go no well we ain't get rid of it they got rid of it but that's another story that's a whole other topic but yeah but no so that all happened this year yeah so it's a joint um they haven't rolled 70 students yeah um so far with over 130 faculty members uh staff graduate students teachers involved so like they they actually put people behind it yeah you know a lot of times when you go to like you see GED classes in jail it'll be one person just volunteering to do that [ __ ] they don't really want to do it how do we how do we get that understanding though is that an accurate thing what of only having one or two people who are volunteering per se how do I know that yeah from being in jail it's not a listen any kind of well I can only speaks for facilities that I've been in and worked in and goal that I didn't like they don't be a plethora they'd normally be one person who's a certified like teacher certified to teach it and usually has some assistance with her like and then be other students trying to get credits for something like it don't really be like nine professors in there doing like it is it's never like that is different and they're on a different level and that's why I said for a school like Yale and even with those I'm talking about high school level stuff yeah I ain't talking about ivy league Yale coming in and sending their teachers normally it is like not normally GED yeah GD something because they got rid of a lot a lot of the Collegiate programs that were given out to inmates people that are incarcerated yeah depending depending on where it is um and things like that so no I I'm more than happy to see it but you know it reminds me my favorite 50 Cent show what's that that he executive produced the full life show um what y'all doing matter of fact Netflix y'all still owe me one for canceling um Lovecraft no no thank masculinity to to fix the situation you get what I'm saying um and that's why I posed the question because in most situations most men have to tolerate their relationship to be able either one survive it or for other causes which would be kids circumstances whatever the case may be so it's like me personally do I to me I can answer the question for myself um remember the question is something you wanted to talk about I just just to give people perspective men's perspective on it like dude how do you do you do you consider that a weakness or do you consider it like a sacrifice for the benefit of whatever you know what I'm saying okay be the benefit your well-being would benefit your kids whatever like you feel what I'm saying to me I think it's it's a um I think it's both ah you got to say you got to say more I think it's both because okay me personally I had to look at that I thought about this so much and I've asked many other people and they gave me a different perspective and I kind of got got to was if I have to be in a situation where I'm I'm minimizing myself in any capacity then that is a weakness you get what I'm saying um so you're saying a man it'll be coming I should I should not ever put myself in a position where I'm tolerating or to where I have to minimize myself or be less of a man or to not be able to be in full masculinity or or yeah to tolerate a situation that that should I shouldn't allow that that's a weakness in a sense you get what I'm saying even if you are even if you are making that sacrifice for your well-being yes a weakness because you're going you're you're chipping away at pieces of yourself you're you're minimizing yourself to be able to fit within whatever the situation is going on when you should grow bigger than it or try to conquer it what would an example of Toleration be to you not Society but to you like what would you consider okay I'm tolerating this Behavior or this event or this what we're going through right now what would an example of that be because I think saying tolerating okay I just put into perspective my buddy yeah he's in a relationship with a chick which is his baby mother they have two kids that they live that live with them in a household and ease it right now he's not happy in his relationship he's totally miserable and the only reason he won't leave the woman because he's trying to be there make the have this family Dynamic okay I'm saying so now he's at the point where he's tolerating the relationship [Music] and he's sacrificing himself for the benefit of his family yikes so you have something more than yikes oh I got something more than yikes go ahead and speak I can almost 95 percent tell you with confidence that what he's getting from her is more about what he's not doing I don't think so I I get what you're saying but I need to know the details if now when we come to men what about what is our three main priorities provide protective professors right he does all those things right get me so at the end of the day whatever they got going on within their relationship that's that's whatever but far as him being a man that's a key part he's a good man but bro that's a good part but the whole sole being of it is that he's tolerating her he doesn't love her at this point he's they fight he's not good for I've heard the stories at the end of the day to the point where they're not good for each other which could be a case yeah within that they won't be tolerating it but that's right in the man's perspective in man's life he's tolerating a relationship to be able for to be able to have his family under one household right you get what I'm saying and to me I harshly to say you know in truthfully I honestly feel like that is a weakness hmm weakness for him it's a weakness period I just think that he's that that instead of him doing what's best for himself and what's best for the situation and you being logically in in in in in really trying to find the best solution and do what's best in the situation instead of him doing that and just sacrificing just laying down just be like it's whatever just because this and that I think that's weakness hmm it is I'm gonna tell you it's a little bit different once you have some frozen principles anytime you're doing that and then you you you you're showing weakness I got my opinion okay I feel like there's still some more information that I'm missing but we're gonna have to bring it back next week but I would say this in short when it comes to a man and you're providing for your family and you're going to protect your children right and your that decision has already been made the way you move and where you operate is going to be different so that's why I say there's got to be something else that I'm not hearing to say yeah without operating from a deficit or something that's detrimental to him see what I'm saying it's like what are your expectations what do you what are you doing to retrieve those expectations because like I said this is why I say that 95 and then I'll let you close out well 95 of the time if a woman who actually wants to be LED and be in that family structure she's saying by and acting out in different ways and different Snipes and different behaviors that you're not giving me what I want or what I can believe in more than what I want you're not giving me what I can believe in so that's why I was like there's more to this that we can delve into more um and we can use anything you don't have to use the exact example but that's normally what it is okay I'm gonna go ahead and dealt with you right quick um while I do agree with someone pushing and what we're pushing the Nazis saying is I do believe that women in I don't want to hate I wanna I don't want to use in general because that's not a real thing because everybody is different yeah right but but the woman has to want to be led and that then like that that as I find not only in my situation but in a lot of situations in general they don't want to be they say they want to be they didn't really want to be and an argument I had some time ago well maybe that ain't the right man for them so what is this is what you're valuing has nothing to do with his leadership skills has nothing to do with the man he might be the prop the person he is none of that because a lot of time we put too much we put too much weight or or focus on like or what can he provide financially you know me and I've seen women and and we all have that will just put up with the worst dude ever because he got bread right but the dude that's going to treat you right in this is a good father and all of this is like well he just ain't giving me something but then you'll you'll you'll get rid of [ __ ] uh Bradley and go
