Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard & McKenna Grace Interview Takes a Weird Turn

I'm toet you hi nice to meet you how are you guys good how are you very well thank you you're so beautiful so oh my gosh and your eyes are like sorry you're like really pretty and I really like your outfit it feels like it' be like really soft sorry you just become my favorite person ever this is how you so much you have gorgeous eyes a thanks I mean you're gorgeous yourself gorgeous uh anyway sorry you look you look great like just kind of you know you have just a very cool style about you look at you your Tom Brown equally you guys are looking great sounding great making a great movie as well guys you can just do it all uh tell me first of all how much fun was it busting ghosts with the originals because I would lose my mind I grew up on those films surreal I know and you know we all would kind of look around going this doesn't make any sense do this alongside them they're the real ones so uh I think we all just kind of treasured it treasured the experience they were so nice and you know they're the greatest people and so they were funny and welcoming your brain doesn't really compute yeah right it's there's a weird thing that happens like we're all hired to do a job and play a role and yet the actual thing that's happening uh doesn't escape us like we're all sitting in the Ecto one and we know we're in very rarified air here not many people get to ride around in this car and so to kind of embrace the job we were hired to do but then also really recognize and appreciate the complete bizarre nature of it all because we also have been seeing this our whole lives me I was I mean I was I wasn't even that young when the original movie came out um so it's you know it's such a huge uh franchise with such a storied history that to yeah to stand around and be amongst the ogs and all of the other stuff is uh we got to it's a constant battle to keep our cool you're very much stepping up into I think more of a parent role as well in this film is Paul very much like a dad on set as like just being Paul he's very protective he doesn't let me out past eight yeah um what we early calls and you guys need to get your sleep yeah yeah we do for mcken you're way more relaxed I don't know why I'm his favorite right and I can see why cuz you want me you're my favorite so thank you honestly I really like this interview and I like the way this is going right now sorry um f you're my second favorite um God I'm not waiting anyone over here you're third that means you're third that me you're third by the way I'm just having to be fine I'm just happy to be here look I'm garbage I know it I know this everyone everyone kind of does yeah these two are great they're the best however though Paul when you are playing that role within the film I very much get even in real life you are the parent who's the nice I don't sorry and I don't know your wife but I feel like you she's brutal Mis angry uh an authoritarian but too much so where you like look it's one thing to discipline our children but you are an you're an ogre right now to these poor kids um so you are the nice one am I the good cop yeah no I think I'm I'm the uh uh she's the present cop and I'm the one that's off having meals at Joe Allen's he has fake kid yeah he's out with his fake kids yeah right here yeah a nice relationship with my fake and he's not even present there yeah most of the time I'm checked out I have a lot of emails to return five years of emails by the way you're not far off I know I know you still haven't answered my email I'm getting to it and fact I I just have to say how much fun do you have reciting SL singing the Ghostbusters song because I would be doing it all the time if I was on that set yeah it was non-stop Paul I mean the thing is that he just would non-stop sing it over and over and over again right yeah that's why he's teed you up he's te you up Paul he teed you up he really set it up no no no no I don't mean to set it up it's just you're just it's it was a constant thing and the reason why you like signed on to the film in the original first in the first was cuz you were you were going to do a uh performance of it at the very end of the movie for the end crawl credits they cut it and understandably so I get why they did we got the closest we were going to get then in this well it's also in a kind of a b like a a skin tight Lyra it looks it's like a modeled after the ghost suit by way you can see everything I think that's why they cut it yeah right speaking of C cutting it uh eight days after I was born um wa wa eight eight I think that's what it is right eight I don't know I feel like this INF is taking a weird turn it's taking a fantastic who you going to call [Laughter] the I have to go by the way this doesn't make you feel good no um love this room love this room love you guys thank you so much apprciate [Music] wonderful [Music] la
