[Music] it's beautiful you know we've been so lucky to have enjoyed such a special chapter playing in the NBA playing for several teams but obviously the Lakers been a very special one [Music] um my life goes some pie pretty fast the blink of an eye you can be a kid playing basketball in your school and now sudden you have a chance to play with the greatest franchise in basketball and Kobe welcomes you say hey let's go let's go out there and win us a ring you know I was like okay I'm in we talked about the debut of Pau Gasol it makes his first game as a Laker the song off the rebound the saw stuff that's his first bucket as a late night with the spin went behind the back when you put them together with Kobe Bryant and power console that's a dangerous match you know let's make the game so much easier you know we had some weapons before one to the team there's a God there is a God [Applause] you're talking about a perfect triangle Orlando over the limits right now wow right now let's roll that down you know where to find those we're ready to go [Music] Ryan looks inside finds Gasol that's all counted [Applause] [Music] top a lot of the guys that were a danger in the pose I think I held my ground and I'm just proud of proud of my teammates proud of all the water we put in La wins the 2009 NBA title [Applause] there was a point in time where International Players European mainly were considered label solved no matter what so he was like all right I mean I was already ready to go and committed to you know get stronger take a step forward in my play because I that's what it required in order to dominate and be the best out there it's all against Garnett back pedal away and Gasol took him strong to the bucket yeah very aggressive is that and he slams it over Anderson once again [Applause] you know that game seven is Celtics is just I don't know if there's a bigger game shots by six with a minute and a half kicks it out to Odom Odom throws it ahead the Lakers repeat back to back titles it seems so seamless right when I got to the Lakers and I was like oh this guy fits right away I mean it feels like he's been playing the triangle for 10 years but it's so special that's why I feel this way because it's so special and so unique I like to think that I've contributed to the growth of the international players and inspired some younger players to play the game so many times walking those Halls when you feel like uh you're back in your 30s which I'm not anymore tonight it's just uh it really exceeds any dream or expectation that I've had it means so much it's amazing guys this is all I can say is thank you [Music]
