[Music] hallelujah and praise the lord thank you for joining us on this amazing day um we bless the lord for the opportunity the privilege for us to be live here i want you to share them to press the share button wherever you are we are on the book of rude and we are believing god will be able to finish it before the end of the week so let's begin with a word of prayer father in the mighty name of jesus we bless your name we give you glory and we give you all the honor we thank you lord for this privilege and the opportunity that we can engage in the reading of your word and dear lord we know that your word is not void of power your word is like rain when it comes down things are established lord we thank you for the opportunity and the capacity for us to go through the bible may our lives not be the same again may the wisdom the direction the correction the inspiration that is lodged unlocked in your word may eat begin to have manifestation in our lives i declare right now if there be anything that is going to hinder your sons and daughters from understanding and listening to these may it be uplifted oh father may the heavens be open and may we engage from a platform of open heaven may you give me the speech and the tongue over of an orator that as i present this oh god there will be understanding and simplicity and it is in jesus name that i do pray and believe hallelujah we bless the lord for this opportunity and we thank the lord that we began now in the book of ruth and yesterday we looked at you know uh them leaving bethlehem going to the uh to the moabites um the name of naomi means pleasant the name of elimelech means worship and chileon and and mahalon the two one men sickly and and the other one uh you know the the meanings of these particular names and also now they went met uh their sons got married in the moabites land the origin of moab was a product of incest between lot and uh his daughters and so what happens at this particular time is that after living here they went lost everything and and now this time ruth is returning back and we said we are going to look at a couple of things there are few themes that are in this uh uh chapter by chapter the first chapter we see the theme of decision which goes in line with our salvation in the second chapter we'll see the theme of service in the third chapter we'll see the theme of submission and in the fourth chapter we'll see the theme of reward and these looks like they are the orders and the protocols that are always there when we come to salvation and also we see the design plan of god the inclusion of a gentile in the bloodline of jesus because we automatically know that boaz also came from salmon and salmon had married uh rehab and rehab who was the prostitute when the walls of jericho were coming down and rahab was also another gentile so we begin to see the plan of god in the inclusion of the gentiles in salvation as we are going through the book of ephesians and colossians we discovered that there are a couple of mysteries and a mystery is something that is considered as a hidden truth and one of the mysteries was the mystery of the church the inclusion of the gentiles uh as the part of the church because uh the jews never believed that the gentiles can receive eternal life and they can have the privileges that they had and the second mystery was also the the the mystery the first one was the salvation and the constitution of of the of the church and the second one was the salvation of the gentiles so these existed as mysteries in the old testament uh the prophets could not record this but through types and pictures and images which lies heavily in the old testament uh you know when when jesus came i mean paul writes in colossians and he says all these were what types they were types the festivals which are types and images so right now we are looking at another image in the bible and so we are going to read chapter two and then we'll connect from where we left yesterday that is verse 19 and so uh i'm reading from the english standard version the bible says now naomi had a relative of her husband i was the man of the clan of elimelech whose name was boaz and ruled the moabite said to naomi let me go to the field and clean among the ears of green after him in whose side i shall find favor and she said to her go my daughter so she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to boaz who was of the clan of elimelech and behold boaz came from bethlehem and he said to the reapers the lord be with you and they answered the lord bless you then boss said to his young man who was in charge of the reapers whose young woman is this and the servant was in charge of the reapers answered she's the young moabite woman who came back with naomi from the country of moab she said please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reaper so she came and she has continued from early morning until now except for a short rest then boss said to ruth now listen my daughter do not go to clean in another field or leave this one but keep close to my young women let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping and go after them have i not charged the young man the young man not to touch you and when you are thirsty go to the vessel and drink what the young men have drawn then she fell on her face bowing to the ground and said to him why have i found favor in your eyes that you should take notice of me since i am a foreigner but board answered was answered her all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told me and how you left your father mother and your native and came to a people that you did not know before the lord repay you for what you have done and a full reward be given you by the lord and god of israel under whose wings you have come to take refuge then she said i have found favor in your eyes my lord for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant though i am not one of your servants and at meal time boys say to her come here and eat some bread and dip your muscle in the wine so she sat beside the reapers and he passed to her roasted grain and she ate until she was satisfied and she had some left over when she was to glean buzz instructed this young man saying let her glean even among the sheaves and do not reproach her and also pull out some from the bundles for her and leave it for her to glean and do not rebuke her so she gleaned in the field until evening then she beat out what she had gleaned and it was about an f of bali and she took it up and went into the city her mother-in-law saw that she had gleaned she also brought out and gave her what food she had left over after being satisfied and a mother-in-law said to her where did you glean today and where have you worked blessed be the man who took notice of you so she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked and said the man's name with whom i worked today's board and naomi said to her daughter-in-law may he be blessed by the lord whose kindness has not forsaken the living of the dead naomi also said to her the man is a close relative of ours one of our redeemers and rude moabite said beside he said to me you shall keep close by my young men until they have finished all my harvest and naomi said to rude her daughter in long it is good my daughter that you go out with these young women lest with these young women lest in another field you be assaulted so she kept close to the young women of boss gleaning until the end of the valley and with harvest and she lived with her mother in law hallelujah so yesterday we left at chapter number 19 and the bible says so the two of them went on until they came to bethlehem and when they had came to bethlehem uh the whole town was started because of them and the women said is this naomi she said to them do not call me naomi call me mara for the almighty has dealt very brittle with me i went away full and the lord has brought me back empty why call me naomi when the lord has testified against me and the almighty has brought calamity upon me so naomi returned and ruled the moabiter daughter in law with her who returned from the country of moab and they came to bethlehem at the beginning of the pali harvest so we ended this story by seeing that ruth made a decision a radical decision to follow naomi and you know we're just comparing it looking at how radical our decision should be when it comes to following the lord the bible is very clear we should not be there because of the blessing we should be there because of the blessing one of the things is that nobody goes to the swimming pool to get well i mean to get wet but when you go to the swimming pool you jump in the swimming pool because you want to swim but automatically you get wet so automatically when you walk with the lord and walk in the lord um being blessed is just part of it but that's not the reason why we walk with the lord so we don't jump in the swimming pool to get wet but by the of the twin water you will get wet though your main objective was not to get wet we don't follow god for the things that are meant to follow us which men have qualified as blessing in fact the original root word for blessing is ability a blessing is not things a blessing is the ability for you to make things so it's an ability that comes from your relationship with the lord and so we see now that when they returned there was a harvest again because wherever god has planted you it doesn't matter the seasons that are there the lord will always visit that area and there will be restoration so i better stay where the lord has planted me i better stay in the place of planting and in the place of scarcity than going the place of plenty and not the place of my planting we see this same philosophy when lord was asked which part do you want to go he looked at the fatal lands the bible says those directions were like the garden of the lord they were so fertile and he followed what he saw so he went to the place of plenty but abraham stood and stuck with the god of promise so i'd rather be where god has planted me in his promises than go to the place of plenty where i am not instructed and i can tell you the truth many have made this mistake moving from where god had ordained them to be and they came back in the very status that naomi was naomi goes to this land and she loses everything her children her husband and now she's back with um you know these are two widows naomi and also rude both of them have lost their husbands uh in the land of the moabites moabite the land of moab was a product of incense uh between lord and you know his daughters that happened uh at one of the mountains or i mean on the mountains where he went and then that we see when he's coming back of course it's not a celebration you know when i look at this scripture it's more like you quit a job going for greener pastures and then the greener pastures happen not to be the greener pastors and then you are coming back to the very job uh that you quit you know complaining saying how this job is not good how things are not working how the employer does not care about people now here you are this was not a walk of glory it was a walk of shame and the people still recognize naomi and say wow look at naomi she's back and she said listen to me don't even call me naomi now the name naomi means pleasant it means pleasant so what was she saying don't call me pleasant anymore but call me pain call me mara because the lord has dealt with me and the lord has you know dealt uh the almighty has dealt very bitterly with me i went away full and the lord has brought me back empty now you know when i look at this scripture it begins to make a lot of sense um i'm i'm finalizing on on on my second book the other one should be out anytime and it's called understanding pain and one of the things in life is that nobody prepares for pain we take our children through their academic system to pray prepare them for the future we prepare them for uh you know we equip them to uh to to handle um our challenges in life but guess what nobody prepares you for pain but pain is part of life you are either in pain right now even as i'm talking or you are out of pain or you are headed to pain pain is part of our lives it's part of the constitution of what makes life happen and because of this lack of preparation when people go through pain it can destabilize them forever some of us you know maybe you went through a heartbreak at a very young age and when you consult the reason why you are still single is because you've never dealt with that pain it really dismantled everything about your life it threw under the past and it has taken years for you to gather yourself together and for you to focus again and you know in my attempt just to try and understand pain i'm just sharing this because this is a very it's an amazing story in my attempt to just understand pain i've been through pain as an individual and i can tell you uh pain cannot be explained you cannot say you know that's why you cannot fully have the ability to talk a man out of pain because you can never feel what another person is feeling until you enter where he has entered you know i've seen people maybe you've lost a loved one and someone comes and tells you you know it is well you know god is in god is still in control but at that time we are trying to imagine what you are feeling but we cannot feel what you are feeling we can only sit and imagine how painful it is and the problem with pain is that you cannot imagine pain i remember when i was in form 2 um there's a young boy that you know we we you know i was in a boy high school so we were enjoying this boy and we we were making fun of him and we we gave him a nickname that we had given our cook so uh you know we're trying to make it look like the cookie is his father we used to call the cook madume so we used to call this guy madume so and of course they look the same but you know it looked like a shameful thing so the guy got very pissed off and he went and reported us to the disciplined master and when we were reported were called you know it was a group of around four naughty boys so we were called and we were beaten and then this young man being in a boys school he felt like a snitch you know how how can i report these men to a teacher you know i look like a very bad man so he came and he was trying to apologize and i remember one of us by the name of paul the guy came and he asked him ah paul paul i'm sorry how did it feel to you know how did it feel because he was straight from the discipline masters and this paul kicked him hard and he said something close to what you have felt and you know what paul was trying to say i cannot explain the pain i have felt after being beaten but i can only kick you and feel maybe something close to what i have felt a story is told about a man who used to be a priest and he was employed in the in the in the maximum prison and his work was to uh pray for men that were going through execution and so he got this particular man for him it was normal business he will go read the scripture prepare them for death and so he found this criminal and he told the criminal i know what you're going through the criminal just looked at him and laughed and asked him dude have you ever been hanged what are you telling me you know what i'm going through have you ever been hung you cannot know what i'm going through because i'm about to be hung right now and so we see people who try to make it look like they know what we are going through but the truth nobody can clearly fully comprehend and know and understand pain you are the only one who knows what you're going through and that's why one of the things that pain will do pain will rob your identity when now omi said don't call me naomi anymore don't call me pleasant a name is not just a name a name is a point of reference a name is a point of identity when you look at the bible you discover that most of the people who are going through staff in life the first thing they lost was their name and and life is unfair because when you are going through challenges people no longer refine you according to your true identity they begin to refine you according to your situation and your challenge that you're going through people will say oh you're talking about this woman the one the one who lost a child oh you're talking about that man the one who got divorced oh you're talking about that orphan boy you know the situation begins to be louder the painful things and look at the consistency of the bible you know the the man born blind the at the get called beautiful so we are given the name of the gate but not the name of the the woman with the issue of blood and the issue stayed for 10 years so we are given even the time when she was bleeding but we are not told the name of the woman because her pain her issue was allowed her issue had robbed her identity and so it's very good to understand the pain once once pain robs your identity you cannot function in purpose and once purpose is affected destiny is about it so it's not just an identity of who am i it's an identity because you can never enter into purpose with a distorted identity you need your identity intact for you to be functional in purpose this is exactly what god dealt with moses who had a dual identity raised by a hebrew woman but also raised by an egyptian and the bible says he was taught all the literature and the knowledge of egypt this was how they were trying to change his identity because there are a couple of things that change the identity of a person one is the location the second one is the language the second one is your name the third one is the diet and the fourth one is your faith or your spirituality these five things will affect your identity one is the location and anytime the devil wants to fight your identity he might begin by dealing with your location let me just say this some of us were very spiritual when we were in kenya and i've seen brothers who were very spiritual we used to sing with prayer with but when they ended up in america now they became rational thinkers and now they are headed to edison so the devil will affect your location and this is a mystery sometimes the devil will not fight your assignment but the devil will make sure you are not in the place where you're supposed to function in your assignment the second thing the devil will begin to change your language language language and you can never affect the language of a man if you don't affect the culture and the tradition that it believes in because the language is what communicates culture and tradition so we have the language of the kingdom and we have the language of the world and when you operate with the language of the world though you're a church member your identity begins to be compromised because your perception attitude and how you deal with things is already affected the next thing you will change your diet garbage in garbage out this is what we see in the concept of babylon when they took their hebrew boys the men that could be presented before the king they changed their diet what are you consuming the media social media tick tock instagram whatsapp radio tv they will change your diet what you read what you read they will change and this one begins to affect how you see things and then the other thing they will change your name they will change your name that's your point of reference for your identity when i say you know honorable or if i say urumu kenyatta an image comes in your mind not the image of obama no it's an image of a man in this nation who is the president and then the final thing that can change your identity is your worship is your worship these are very major things so we see pain changed the identity of naomi she never wanted to be identified as pleasant she wanted to adopt another name called mara and let me just mention this because even even though we are doing a bible study once in a while you know we are also ministering because this is not a theological college that you after this will give you a certificate of participation there there are four types of pain they could be more but my own analysis bring them to four types there is situational pain and this is a pain that is out of a situation that is above you a situation that is above you like coffee happens and people lost their jobs it's a situation coffee is above me it's above you so this situation has affected many things uh you wake up in the morning and the shop is burned down and they say it's an electric fault it's a situation your mom your dad your cousin a relative is in the hospital the next thing they pass on it's a situation it's something that was beyond me and beyond my ability situational point i know enough people who are driving got an accident and the next thing had to lose their legs and learn how to use wheelchairs or even you go to the hospital and you're told you have this condition and now you have to survive on dialysis or insulin so it's a situation and it is painful it's not easy it's not easy you work in the office and you find a termination letter no reason no nothing it's not easy so a situation of pain they are there in life they are there in life and most of the situation of pain can make you a victim if you permit the pain to go beyond your ability to conquer it it can make you a victim and you can look at the situation and get a reason to stagnate in life there are many people where things happen and from you can locate their life that they were moving forward well until pop something happened when they lost their husband it looked like life took a different tangent and you know there is this philosophical saying that says lord give me the wisdom to accept the things i cannot change give me the power to change that which i can change and give me the serenity to also accept that which you are doing may sound like a philosophical wisdom but it's something that works there are things we look and say yes we can mourn for two weeks but life has to go on yes this thing happened but life has to go on the attitude the attitude there has to change and the people that overcame this pain and refuse the pain to make them victims is people who accepted that i cannot change this situation but this situation can change me so i would rather not permit the situation to change me because i have no power to change it and let me tell you these things are not easy it takes the grace of god for you to deny a certain thing like if you lose a parent it's not easy and maybe that was the bread winner and under your economics you have to adjust from a two bedroom to a a bed seater you have to adjust from some meals to possibly taking a million a day it's not easy but is that that for me the place of healing and acceptance is just saying it i cannot change it and so i will not permit it to change me situational pain life is full of situations life is full of situations and the way you are your attitude towards every situation will really determine how far you go with some of these things the second thing is inflicted pain now this is different because situational pain is beyond you you can't change it inflicted pain inflicted pain and maybe i can give an example in the bible of situational pain situational pain is when um what is his name methibosheth is being helped by this servant because the father and the mother the father and the grandfather saul and jonathan have died in war that's the situation already and they the young servant takes him and places him on a running horse and he falls from the horse and becomes crippled and he's the grandchild of a king but the situation that he's in compromises even what he believed in and so this is a man with royal blood but the situation cripples him and he ends up in lord about this name means place of no communication he has royal blood but he's living like a pauper i i you know i i really feel in my spirit i'm speaking to somebody let me just flow in the spirit because i i'll tell you the truth you you are you are your emotional health is equally important to the level of your physical health you might be breathing and not physical pain but depression is taking your life slowly and so let me just pour my heart today so when my fever shed was taken when he was taken this is a man with royal blood he knows his bloodline for god's sake my grandfather was the king but here i am in lord the bar what does lord the body present sometimes we go through pain and we create walls and we don't want anyone to come in neither do we want to come out and what the devil does he lifts the wall so high and makes you believe no one has ever gone through such pain as the one you're going through and this is how depression comes in that there is a barrier when people ask me are you okay i tell them i'm okay but i put this face externally i have makeup on the external but inside i am bleeding and dying but i cannot permit anyone to go beyond the wall they are too high and they are too close so i'm caged i don't talk to anyone the night hour is when i pour out and cry but the morning hour i'll put my weave on i'll put my makeup on the morning hour i will put my suit on put my tie on put up good shave and put my plastic smile and people think i'm okay but deep down i am dying because there are situations that destabilize everything about our lives you've you've invested all your life in a relationship the next thing you find a man in another relationship and they're even planning their wedding and you discover these two months to the wedding and even you even in your workplace you don't deliver or even a woman who possibly is in that situation so what happens when david is calling for mephibosheth because david says is there any man in the house of saul that i should honor and and he says you know there is zipper and they say no no is there any other person and they say there is the this now see how men describe him there is this methibosheth but that has a destiny in god yes something happened to that man he was not born a there is there is something a situation happened and robbed his legs but that has a destiny in god and the bible says david was troubled and he asked is there no man that i should show favor from the household of saul because of the covenants i had with jonathan and this came and he was brought and when he saw david he asked david what do you see in a dog like me what happened the name of people share this means the killer of baal but now he has shifted his mindset from this warrior to a dog a dog you know when you when you look at the features of a dog it does not deserve a decent house it doesn't deserve attention most of that's why we put dogs outside they are rained on nobody cares about them when the rain pours they come near the corridor but we don't open the door for them to get in so many people chef was asking so why do you get a concern about me and i tell you people going through situational pain sometimes they feel why should you burden yourself with my issues you know it's those these are my issues but let me tell you god knows where you are and the bible says david was troubled when my feeble shed was brought he was restored back to the king's table because initially he used to be there at the king's table he these were the old memories he used to sit with his grandfather and his father they he knew the royal life and the wisdom of dealing with situational pain never allow your condition to rob you your position because when you are back on your position automatically your condition will be of no significance never allow your situation your condition to rob you your position when you are back on your position even your condition will not count 2007 the president of this nation was given a sword on a wheelchair nobody ever went to the news to say the crippled president has said they will say the president of the nation of kenya honorable because his position had covered his condition so we should not allow our conditions and situations to rob our position and many people have lost their positions and the devil is happy that the seat in the palace is empty because somebody looks at themselves and they think they are a dog because of what they have gone through may this broadcast tonight may it be a place of your healing and a place of your restoration because the wellness of your heart was also an agenda that christ came for he said i came for the broken-hearted god is not just move when we speak in tongues he's also moved when our hearts are healed and he's also moved when we when our hearts are healthy because our emotional stability means a lot when it comes to delivery and execution this is a fact i tell you the truth you work with people who are not well emotionally even their delivery is compromised the second type of pain is inflicted pain inflicted pain this this one is pain from external you think this is people you trusted in people you believed in people you put your trust in this is the case of joseph he shares his dream with his brothers these are this is blood these are family members and he can hear them negotiate and say let's not kill him let's kill him you know i don't know about you but this is not pain that is from very far this is pain from people you never expected that they could do what they have done it is inflicted it is external and the reason why it hurts a lot it comes from a source that you least expected the very people you pray with the very people you share your personal issues with the very people you laugh with you discover they're the same guys stabbing you at your back inflicted pain it is real inflicted pain you you you grow up and you know i've met people in my office some of them come and tell me percy where was god when i was being raped where was he if he's god where was he and some people even get mad with god because the pain is too much to bear and it's from sources that you couldn't even imagine and and and you know i know i know i know have i been through inflicted pain yes i've been through it one of the ways to deal with this pain is to allow god to avenge for you don't trouble yourself don't trouble yourself don't trouble yourself don't trouble yourself some people i met a man of god that he told me he found this man shaking on his chair holding a gun because he had he was married and the and what he did what he did is that he had made his wife to be his signatory and only one could sign the wife went and cleared his account he was a rich man he had lost his first wife so this was the second wife cleared the account and the wife went hiding but the man is a man of influence so the man threw his sources got to know the location of the wife he was old so he was holding his gun ready to go on revenge one day i was just talking to somebody and she had gone through the pain of rape and and her marriage broke down because she could not face a man anytime in in her honeymoon in her honeymoon when the man when they were getting intimate with the man the memories came and she became violent because now the memory of being raped came and she became violent and so her marriage broke up and so she felt not only was i raped but i cannot even move on this pain is too much so she had bought everything she had a gun and she was just waiting for coffee to end and all she wanted to see was the man suffer because the man was still alive the man had a family and the man had children and so she wanted to see the man suffering pain and i tell you some of us sometimes these thoughts crisscross your mind you just feel that i wish they can feel the pain that i felt but the bible says vengeance belongs to the lord the only way to get out of situation of pain is forgive and allow the lord to fight your battles is it easy to forgive no i won't lie to you it won't be a walk in the park i remember a young girl came and told me i was raped by my uncle and we live in the same compound every day i see him what should i do yes pastor i want to forgive i want to forgive but every day i see the man passing he's not remorseful he has never asked for forgiveness and he threatened me and told me if i tell mommy i will see so tell me pastor how do i forgive and you know these are the cases that come in the office and you okay you are a pastor you are not jesus so you you just say we believe in this bible and we are called to apply it and you don't forgive men because they deserve you forgive men because one day you'll also need forgiveness before the father but in this forgiveness you are opening a chapter for god to avenge for you two things belong to god tithe and vengeance and allow him to fight your battles what happens when people walk through inflicted pain when you don't forgive you might end up transferring pain to innocent people now you you have pain and people that come to your life you also inflict pain so you are a victim already and because you've not healed other people who come to you because you are you know you are bitter you are wounded and unless you let's be real some people even in the office some managers some hr's some some senior people in the office the way they talk to us the way they treat us you can sense it's not because things are not working out there is something wrong there is something that this guy has not dealt with some of them have gone through betrayal some of them have gone through pain and so because they are not emotionally stable they end up hurting everyone at their disposal unknowingly so people just become victims you walk in their office and the way they talk to you you know they trash you down and you wonder what did i do what did i do to deserve this lecture or this kind of confrontation and that's why sometimes we just need to pray for our bosses because you know until it's go it's their levels their levels i believe in professional counseling but their levels it takes the holy spirit to move and just heal our hearts and break our hearts i remember one day i was in in this city and a lady came i was i had called the nautical and she she had she had dressed like a man and i looked at her because i even thought it was a boy you know even sagging but you know as i look at her i was confused and the lord told me something is wrong with a relationship tell her to forgive her father so i just looked at her and i said i'm i'm hearing forgive your father she broke down and i asked her what's the problem she said pastor i was raped by my own father and i hated myself for being a lady and so i said i began now to adopt into dressing like a man and all this thing so this was an identity being compromised my you know the things that happen in this world they are crazy of course we had to pray and she told me from the day i was raped i said i will never cry but at that hour the holy ghost was having a hand she began to break down and cry he's still asleep and i knew that's her healing it there are levels where the lord just permits the holy spirit to penetrate and you just feel there is a grace so inflicted pain i met this lady she was faithful in her marriage married to this guy she was a prayerful woman obedient and consistent then the guy brings hiv home the guy leaves the woman and uses his saving to buy drugs for himself how selfish can it be and now she leaves the woman to die but as we are talking today that woman has written a book because the time she was given to die she never died and she buffed a ministry out of that in inflicted pain this is what i'm trying to say there are things that would have happened in your life before you even realize yourself when the bible says everything works for good for them that love the father and are called according to his purposes and also that which the devil had purpose for evil god has the power to turn into good i know a lady who's a lawyer and a child advocate and the reason why her ministry was bad is because of the kind of abuse she went through when she was a young girl she came from an estate where girls used to be sold for marriage at an early age she was released as an outcast and she said what i know what i've gone through she grew in a children's home and she convicted that pain and said when i become somebody i am going to change the lives of other girls what happened a ministry was bad out of that affliction and this pain attacks many people who have great destiny this is the same pain that came upon joseph is the same pain of betrayal inflicted that came upon david it's a pain that makes us stagnate and not move we are bitter full of rage we just want vengeance and we forget about ourselves we have even thinking about you that pain is consequential pain this is from the word consequences activities practices things that you knew this is wrong but you still did it and there are many people in the court of self-condemnation nobody has even condemned you but when you look at yourself you feel you're not worthy you feel you cannot move forward you feel no and i know many people who even lost the faith because they did something and they felt god cannot forgive me listen there is no sin that god cannot forgive god is a loving father there is no sin that he cannot forgive and so the devil likes it when you enter into the courtroom of self-condemnation the devil likes it when you stay fallen the issue is not falling the issue is staying fallen and the scriptures of condemnation are louder in your ear and you forget that you serve a god of second chances and a god that can restore and a god that is full of love and full of mercy you forget all this and you trip and trip and veer off seriously and there are many people who began well in the lord until a consequence happened maybe they got pregnant out of wedlock it's it's a consequence they knew it is bad to have sex before marriage but immediately that thing happened they never went for restoration they permitted the mistake to define them and they left the law they got into alcohol they they got into men they got into party and all these things listen god is a god of second chances god is a god of second chances and you just need to embrace the mistake when abraham slept with her guy god never killed ishmael but god forgave abraham for sleeping with her guy but abraham had to deal with the consequences of his mistakes so let us not think that god will not forgive us and draw a verdict against ourselves and begin to take the wrong path when the devil sees that he's very excited just know some things have consequences and god because of the law of nature may not eliminate the consequence but it will take you in your maturity to take responsibility a child is born the child is not an issue yes you had sex before marriage don't demonize the child take that child take the responsibility be a man yes be a this should not happen again some of us our lessons have come through tears and some look at what happened and they stuck there as i conclude i'll just say this pain is like fuel i've not even touched on ruth too we'll begin there tomorrow pain is like fuel there are two things that fuel can do one fuel can burn for combustion and destruction when you have something you want to destroy you put them in a heap power fuel and you light your lighter and boom it goes it's destroyed but when fuel is in the engine of a car it burns for combustion and that energy generates motion there are two things that pain does to people they are people where pain has destroyed them it was destruction but there are people where pain became like a force of motion the people after that painful situation they pitched themselves and they said you know what this will never happen again i've learned my lessons they are people after that painful situation all their dreams all the ambitions all the things they wanted to achieve collapsed on their face there's a time in my life i entered into depression for around two years and i didn't even know i was depressed i was bitter at that time my dream i i didn't i was doing music for two years i never recorded any song my life was on a standstill some people lose weight some people had weight i added weight and people thought i was okay because in africa adding weight is a sign of hey you are doing well so i had that waiter because i was not sleeping so because of lack of sleep you eat a lot because there are hours you reach and you just eat and eat and eat i was not productive in my workplace almost got fired and and i i literally my dreams were going down the drain and this thing that had caused me pain i shared with somebody and that person shared her story and when i looked at my pain i felt like my pain was a baby pain and her pain was a mature pain one of the reasons why we ought to share is because you might end up sharing with someone who has overcome more than what you have overcome and when you look at their lives they are intact never me never be deceived that you are the only one going through a tough time that's the voice of the devil some people have been to hell and back and they're still smiling and they can look straight at the devil and ask him what else can you throw what haven't you thrown at me what else can you throw if i'm still standing and breathing and still praising the lord what else devil can you throw over my life may this session be a session to heal your hearts may everyone that is wounded in their spirits it takes the holy spirit to heal us we live in a time where many are even depressed and they don't know it they begin to attract diseases that are known of the lord and they don't even know it further tonight i pray for your sons and daughters i know lord that it was your will that we shall walk in emotional wellness some have gone through inflicted pain some have gone through consequential pain some have gone through my god situation of pain every pain from the pit of hell is there to kill our destiny may tonight destinies be put back on order men that surrender their dreams their mantles their ambitions because of pain let the healing anointing begin to move lord there is a place where only the holy spirit can touch the cords of our hearts there is a place not even cancelling by professional psychiatrists and psychologists there is a place they cannot reach but the holy ghost is not limited tonight holy spirit of god begin to heal the hearts of man heal the hearts of men some have been in the place of stagnation drugs sexual promiscuity depression suicidal thoughts lord some of are even watching tonight but what they didn't know it was a divine setup for them to hear this message and know how to get out lord may your anointing heal their hearts in the name of jesus you came for the broken-hearted my god there is someone watching tonight and you came for that person heal them lord you healed me i know you can heal them i stand as a testimony because you can take away depression you can take away oppression you can take away every manner of pain jesus you faced all these pains you are rejected by your own brothers they crucified you inflicted all the pain on you and you overcame and forgave them all oh jesus heal us and in our hearts in jesus name we do pray and believe hallelujah you know once in a while it's just good to hear to the holy spirit i don't know why i just settled there may anyone who was trying to change their name from naomi to mara may you not lose your identity in the name of jesus may healing be a portion the fourth kind of pain is discipleship paid and this is a pain that comes because of walking in the ways of the lord being a radical for christ some of us we understand this pain very well preaching the truth is not easy it has never been easy you'll be criticized people will dig your past they will come with the files to discredit you people will look at you and say the way you pray the way you seek the lord you guys one day someone sang a song and he was dissing us and saying you guys pretend to be ministers because you are ministers it's only that you've not touched the fame and the money in the music ministry so you're here criticizing us it's not easy to walk on the narrow path it's not easy to walk on the narrow way it is not easy to stand with the truth but what else can we do we chose this truth and we are ready to pay the price we are ready to carry the cross uh we better lose everything but not lose the truth jesus asked the disciples where shall you go he asked them do you two also want to leave peter said jesus where shall we go yet in you is the word of life we will not abandon this truth and preach another gospel we will preach it until when the trumpet sound the lord will still find us preaching it and standing for this truth hallelujah let every soldier of faith
