out here on the island current way offshore fishing a wreck of course manos is here he's gonna try for two days winning the pool and uh we're gonna see what we can do the crew hopefully we can see some big fish come up today folks there should be a lot of them down there oh yeah you heard it here today bring my budget please i'll give you a bucket let me see you see here's where you're standing was sleeping i woke i woke up and i was like that's kind of up well he wanted me to start walking because it was light he wanted me to start walking because it would have just started to spool out is down by the lips i stuck my finger in there oh i couldn't stop the bleeding like an you got that i got it tail just stop ow watch out watch out i got the tail no yeah you when you grabbed him you i've never cooked one yeah you fry it all right everybody that concludes our day on the ocean the cod fishing was tough but we sure did catch a ton of fish and if there's one thing we know how to do skin and eel basically taught myself how to skin an eel so that was really cool it was a great day now moving on yesterday while out ice fishing we hit 5 000 subscribers mind blowing we already have a giveaway going on right now giving away a couple monster mass boxes smashed together as one and we will be announcing the winner of that on saturday when we go live so until that giveaway is done we're not going to be doing the 5k giveaway as soon as this other giveaway is done probably monday we will announce what we're doing for the 5000 subscriber giveaway and we will also be announcing the date that we need to hit 6k by in order to do the 300 real giveaway again if we don't hit the 6k in time we're just going to keep going keep going with this until we actually hit one of the deadlines i actually haven't come up with a date yet i'm going to figure that all out by the time monday hits but come monday we're going to be announcing the giveaway and then we always wait at least a week for everybody to enter the giveaway i might even give a little bit extra time for this one because it's it's a big deal for me so that is that also i want to let you guys know we just started a brand new series of videos yesterday we recorded it it will be up next week the first episode of the series now we're going to be taking out head chefs from all over the world it'll probably mainly focus on chefs in the northeast at the moment but i know this is going to be something that we're going to be able to branch out travel hang out with chefs all over the place we're going to be taking these chefs out fishing and then seeing the crazy fine dining type dishes that they can make for us in the outdoors so i don't want to be going in anyone's kitchens we're not going to be going to their restaurants to see them do this stuff we're literally going to go out catch and clean and cook the fish all outside and really put these chefs to the test and see what kind of stuff they can come up with while we're out in the outdoors i'm so excited the first episode went insanely well although the fishing was super tough we managed to get enough to cook and chef vinnie a good friend of mine from grade school knocked it out of the freaking park we had mr tightlines came at the end of the night he does not eat fresh water fish he refuses to eat fresh water fish he says freshwater fish are too fishy he won't eat them he took his first bite of a pickerel and was mind blown like chris ellis eating pickerel and absolutely loving it and then he had some bluegill uh to top that off he wasn't so into the skin of the bluegill which i thought was perfect because chef crisped it up like absolutely perfectly but he wasn't into the flavor of the skin but he loved the actual flavor of the bluegill and all the accompaniments were just out of this freaking world so guys stay tuned uh our next chef up in the chef series is going to be one of my favorite chefs that i've worked with my entire life this guy is a freaking baller and he is now the head chef at ivory pearl which is the baldwin sons trading company whatever uh brand new baby it is a seafood restaurant and chef ian is literally one of the best chefs i know and he's going to be coming on the show and uh catching some fish with us and then we're gonna see what he can do with some of this super super freshly caught
