Part 1 of 6 Father Malachi Martin 1991 Human Life International Speech

I am to introduce our speaker tonight father Malachy Martin who will speak on the topic of global conflict of life and anti-life forces so a little bit of background on our father Malachy Martin he's an eminent theologian scripture scripture scholar expert on the Catholic Church former Jesuit and professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Institute he is the author of many bestsellers such as the Jesuits the Vatican the final Conclave and hostage to the devil he has been described as a Promethean talent a weaver of spells with words and the most fascinating writer in the religious field today his most recent book the keys of this blood has been publicized as a book of stunning geopolitical revelations a compelling array of daring blueprints for global power and one of them is the portrait of our near future as individuals and citizens of the nations on a more personal note I might add that there's this difference between the father Malachy Martin and father marks while the mark should never forget to bring 300 copies of his book and signed Umbra - 'it is li after something like those but i understand it how the Fiori will take orders please welcome father Malachy Martin personally I've always thought that when it comes to talking and discussing human affairs such as marriage divorce contraception abortion sure we please should put in our two cents worth as passports but the ninety-eight cents in the dollar of understanding should be contributed by women after all day there know more about it than any man will ever know that's that evokes the response Tyler markes now while I think that I do think but I say that make that remark about women versus men because of my early experiences the I was back in my native village in Ireland ballylongford two years ago and there was a death there and there was a Requiem Mass celebrated by the parish priest the Archdeacon Michael Culhane the oldest branch at Col Hani to give it a distinctive Italian touch I mean spoke through an Oxford accent because he taking these letters out in Oxford but anyway the death was of a very notable local called today was Maloney otherwise known as Katie Maloney the pig bar and he had been married for 57 years this is a very illustrative program I mean a story and does illustrate the point of my whole talk he had been 57 years married to Katie and it was a long history of beatings and drunkenness and he she gave him 17 boys children and she owned her own living she cooked my daddy was the doctor of the local gynecologist anyway he was found dead in a ditch he had drowned except coming home from a batter over the weekend and the Archie can be celebrating a Requiem Mass the day I arrived so I went to the mouse and sat beside Katie and the Archdeacon rolled on about the undisputed glories of connubial bliss and the private paradise of responsible partners when we came out later I turned to Katie I said Katie um no what did you think of the archdeacon's talk where she smelt up the Maliki you know he's a great preacher don't worry about her she's a great man but I wish to God I knew as little about marriage if they are she can gossip which about sums it up sometimes it does apply now look here most people here know much more than I will ever know about the struggle against this this great declaration with his demonic energy that has seized the nation's because my friends it has seized the nation's as a community and therefore anything I say is said because it's second hand I have not been active as a human life I wish I had been but my superiors and God has given me other work to do I've done my best and therefore I feel a little childish in talking to you about it except to comment on the whole situation and your situation and your Labor's and the almost impossible task were facing as dr. Ernst pointed out in his expose what we're up against I have found and my training has always taught me that when you are facing an enemy you examined the terian very carefully and you assess the forces against you you reckon up what you can do and what you can't do what you may do and what you may not do and in the life of that of exact intelligence of what you're facing you draw up your plans because otherwise you waste time and energy now I do think that the basis of our view of this is they I'm sure you've all read that passage in the book of Deuteronomy where God says look this day there are two courses open to you and I'm telling you which one to follow on the one hand you could choose life and goodness on the other hand you can choose death and evil and then the text goes on to say if you choose life your bodies will be fruitful you choose death then you will perish and he ends up in the Bible saying and therefore if you do not choose to obey me and therefore do not choose life I denounce you as of this day this is the Word of God you shall certainly perish and your days on this earth will not be prolonged and I will call heaven and earth to witness against you that indeed I did give you a choice of life over death but that you did indeed refuse to obey me choosing death over life now those are terrifying words with which God speaking from the vantage point of his eternity describes in blunt terms our blood-stained guilt as a community of nations because in fact systemically and you all probably know that of have suspected it or against it systemically our society of nations has opted for anti-life for death as an explicit principle of its socio-political organization and of what we call now progress and God declares with almost brutal frankness why are present human community as it is gathering together for a one-world government for the new world order is not only totally irreconcilable with His goodness and His Holiness but is professionally abominable to him and therefore totally rejected by him cannot have his blessing or his luck and cannot last in its present course now there terrifying words by our Father in heaven about our blood-stained guilt as a race because we shares remember there's a peculiar law of God I mean Adam and Eve sinned in the garden I have a contention with that and when I meet him I didn't do anything none of us did and yet God has decreed we shared his death and his guilt and we do share the blood-stained guilt of our contemporary community of nations and when they are punished we will be punished - these are not the words of some baleful Odin and Norse God or some right voodoo demon these are the words of the Father in heaven who creates little babies missing the womb of their mother and who paints the skies and the earth and the sea with hues no artist as ever has ever reproduced has ever invented and the one who sent His only Son to be conceived born to live in - dieter lies the third day so that we might die so we might also die and be resurrected with him on the lips of such a father these words are terrifying you and I said deliberately blood-stained guilt because over all and everywhere throughout our community of nations today numbering roughly about five billion and cheaply by legalized abortion but also by contraception by euthanasia by condoned infanticide by deliberately fermented civil wars by endemic hunger by the floods of refugees never before in the history of man and in such a short span of time has the life's blood of so many been shed so violently so mercilessly wasted as in our day we specialize in the death of masses as a community of nations today and we belong to that community whether we like it or not so anti-life surely that's us we are ant alive and blood-stained guilt surely every 24 hours we widen that dark red pool of human blood we do
