okay so it looks like we may finally finish the outbuilding today that's up next hello everyone this is Dwayne with edge of nowhere farm and we're coming to here today it is May 16 2020 so I'm gonna go ahead and link the last video here where you actually saw this building getting constructed I think we got the majority of it in a time lapse for you so if you want to see this building go up I think it was about 8 minutes long total as far as how long the time-lapse is either way the building's done the only thing that we're waiting for now is actually as you can see the overhead doors to be installed so just talk to the Installer he's on his way so we should heat see him here shortly I'm gonna see how much of the actual construction I can get for you guys today hopefully it's a good amount we're here today either way the doors I believe should be going in [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] like that the outbuilding is done so you can see behind me here what it looks like so we did the best we could to try to match the two you can see the trim and the trim match and the houses are pretty close gray and gray either way that I know that was important for Lorri but I also give you an idea the size of the building so we'll talk about a couple of the details here in just a second but again overall dimensions it's 30 feet deep and 50 feet wide so that height is 12 feet right at the front and obviously that does angle up I believe that peak is about 14 feet or so at the top so we did put man doors you can see one of the man doors here on the side next to the house and then we have the shed door here that does have a lift on it so we'll show you that here in a second obviously the idea is to pull the truck in and have alluri be able to walk out that man door there over into the house so we'll design a little walkway there for her so she's not having to walk through the mud we also have a couple things on the backhand side we have talked a little bit about that we'll show you that view here in just a second but one other thing I want to show you that I'm not sure we pointed out all right this is actually the east sun's coming up this morning so you can see we've got a door that faces the east you can see the height on these two is basically the same so I think they're right at about 10 feet this door here is a little narrower and that door will eventually be behind a fence so we'll have fencing right on the corner of the outbuilding and that's gonna be where we primarily have all of our equipment coming out of so we've got a tractor on the way so that tractor is gonna be able to get up in there there is a canopy on the tractor so we wanted to make sure that it was gonna easily be able to get up into and out of that building without any issues so that's what we wanted to make sure we had a shed door on that side specifically for the equipment which will keep on this side of that outbuilding let's go in take a peek at the back of this building as well you can see back there we've got some panels if you watch one of the other videos you'll know that those are fiberglass panels a couple things we kept those up above eight feet or so I think it's about eight feet that's by design we didn't want anybody being able to look into the inside of the building but we wanted to allow some natural light to come into the building so we raised those up off the ground and again they're fiberglass so they're not clear so you can't see through them anyway but you will get some modelled sunlight into the building so that we don't have to have lights on all the time then of course we have the man door there and we did do an extension so you can see we have an extension of the concrete so that gives us five hundred square feet of flat concrete to work with you can see we've got some rain barrels stored in the back there right now we do have plans for some rain catchment here so we also have a place to put in IBC or rain barrels in order to catch some of the rain that we be coming down off of the outbuilding either way it gives you an idea of the size from this corner as well and we'll take a look at just how much light those panels give us on the inside of the building so let's go ahead and take a peek at the inside [Music] [Music] so this will give you an idea of the inside of the building at least some of the size and scope so as we look around here again 30 feet deep by 50 feet wide and you can see the inside so we did have the insulation installed so it's thin insulation but you it definitely you can hear the insulation as far as the sound but more importantly you'll be able to feel this here in Arizona obviously it's very hot during the summertime and it's actually very cold during the wintertime so both sets of seasons we would want to have some type of temperature control if we're going to spend any time in here and obviously probably won't have much in the way of a heater but some type of evaporative cooler until we get into our monsoon season we would be able to run in here to cool it off a bit and it'll maintain it a little bit better the windows so we still have this door open here I'm gonna go ahead and shut this door so you can see how much light is in here first thing in the morning so the Sun is actually hitting that door there it's not down in the south like it will be in the winter I'm gonna go ahead and lower this door let's take a look and see what it looks like in here with just the natural light ok so this will give you an idea of just how much light penetrates those fiberglass panels that are back there actually plenty of light in here right now to work maybe not detailed work but actually a very good amount of light hopefully you can see my face either way with those four panels we get some natural light in here again the Sun is actually that way so the Sun is not pushing through those panels that's just your early morning sunlight coming into the outbuilding here so plenty of light to move around move equipment around with equipment in and out without having to have electricity in here in order to light the area one other thing I want to point out that we had installed so here we are facing the main door we did have a lift installed so these are Wi-Fi enabled I'm gonna go and lift it up now but it's nice and quiet it does have a lock on here so once it's down it locks it so that it cannot be open from the outside and it's nice and quiet a couple things I want to point out so well first one of course we don't have electricity running to the building yet we do have au fer Hoover whatever it is installed neighbor across the streets an electrician he's gonna help us with getting a panel installed here so we will have a sub panel there for electricity to the building one other thing I want to point out on this door though that when they install these doors because the building is angled up they're able to actually give an angle to those braces or those channels that the door rollers run in so whether or not you can pick it up on camera I'm not too sure however because that slants on an angle up you can bring taller equipment in or drive it in and be able to come to the flat surface so that definitely is a big advantage because it'll allow us to get taller equipment in here with those doors up so that's important for us as well so to wrap up I just want to talk about the Builder I'm going to leave their website information down in the description sentry builders se ntry is who we use they're here in Arizona I know that they go all over the place here in Arizona so they'll travel if you have plans and putting one of these in please consider them Lori and I have been very very happy with the work that they've done I know that they're they've got a long waiting list it took us 10 months in order for them to install this building but we knew from the reviews that we saw in the fact that they were that far out because of just how busy they were you know like it's like a good restaurant when you see a line outside that's the one you want to go to and we found that that's truly the case they have done an amazing job with the building itself the entire time they've stayed in contact with us this has been completely turnkey with the exception of signing documents and writing checks Lori and I haven't had to do anything they've been here for the inspections they've been here for everything and literally did everything for us so they do a great job their pricing is right up front so they tell you what the pricing is you know what you're getting and again they take care of everything from beginning to end so really impressed with what they've done I know a few of you out there who helped build this or watching I just want to thank you guys so much for this beautiful building we're definitely going to get a lot of use out of it so really appreciate the work that you guys put in in order to get this building installed for us now what we get to do is bring all the equipment in and fill up the space but that's another day so I just want to thank you for joining us today if you haven't done so already subscribe to the channel questions or comments leave those in the comment section down below Instagram and Facebook we post content there you won't see around the believe is 12 by 12 ish no 12 by 10 that front door there I believe as 12 feet wide by 10 feet tall that right or the 10 by 10 I don't know [Music] [Music]
