OUR TRIP TO MECCA

it is a few more days to Lomov on starts and it's Animas birthday today so we're going on a small trip to Allah Mecca in Saudi Arabia for the small pilgrimage that Muslims go on join us [Music] in one moment you can snort James get ready the state of a hop back person there are six boundary points known as me but that we all cross when we are on our pilgrimage to Mecca and at that point is when we entered the state of Ephraim the first step to the pilgrimage white cloth on the top white cloth on the bottom no it's definite just be quiet reflect on things get ready the journey ahead this one who's fallen asleep I think but you'll get to that state of my inner time I promise [Music] and as we land in Jeddah about an hour and a half out of Mecca that state of peace that state of tranquility is only emphasized you know Mecca is known as the center for all of us Muslims you realize that you're getting more and more centered and have that peace around you that you're exactly where you need to be [Music] [Music] when you walk towards cabin and you see the lights and you're walking down those stairs you can't help but have this feeling of gratitude of just having the ability to be there of being able to make that journey and make that pilgrimage to the site that's the holiest in our religion now we're a back-end we got to the kaepa this is where it all begins there is some confusion about the cabin the structure that we are all walking around right now many people think that we as Muslims worship it when it is used as a sense of direction Muslims around the world look towards the Kaaba when they pray it is used to unifying Muslims around the world Salaam alaikum everyone we are now going around the Kaaba seven times as did the Messenger of Allah Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and that is the second step in [Music] [Applause] update we have just finished the bow off going around the cap at seven times now we're gonna go drink some Zamzam water who drink exam some water which the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him used to do right after the coop which is going around the mecca seven times he would come and drink water until he was nourished and the significance of this water is it said to be glass and it said to be good for sickness and a maximum nourishment and the great thing about it is when I was getting myself what I got to serve other people's you good deed we are now at a Samba and al-marwah where we go back and forth to mountains seven times and what this signifies is replicating Kaja the mother of Israel where she was running back and forth between the two mountains in search of water [Music] we have just finished the slip over model then we had for the very final step the haircut [Music] I feel born again we come to Mecca for many reasons and the main reason is is to show our love for Allah to ask for forgiveness to reconnect with our values and the things that we love and the things that we hold dearly but one of the things that has made these trips truly special is being able to come here with sin ABBA the woman I love the woman I'm spending the rest of my life with in sha allah and the reason i love coming here with Salama is because islam has played a huge role in the foundation of our marriage and the love that we have for each other and for the husband that i'm trying to become i read a beautiful story that says in heaven Allah will marry a woman to her husband from the life she had on earth if the husband was righteous and treated her well she wouldn't one anyone else so I guess the type of man I'm trying to be the type of husband I'm trying to be they've treated my wife in a way that when all is said and done when our lives have passed and when we meet in heaven insha'Allah and she could have anything she would still have me much love [Music]
