Our Role in Spiritual Warfare | Asher Intrater

I want to talk to you just for a moment about spiritual warfare and its connection with the heavens being open and angels moving and fighting let's start out this and read this verse at the end of the Bible in Revelation chapter 19 verse 11 this is the moment of the coming of your Yeshua and glory in battle it's the moment of the great battle of the end times and here's what it says it says : he said I saw the heavens open and behold a white horse the one who was sitting upon it who was called faithful and true in righteousness he judges and makes war and then down in 14 it goes on to say this: it says and the armies of heaven went out after him riding white horses . well that's combining a lot of stuff let's think about it this way it's true that right now we are in a spiritual kind of war a moral war it happens in issues of right and wrong a moral battle around us it's a spiritual battle around us it's a political economic relationship so there's a friction between good and evil that's going on in every dimension of life and this friction of good and evil continues to build and build and build until this one culminating climactic moment when the heavens open and Yeshua comes down and and he destroys the forces of evil and the angels come down with him and he sets up his kingdom on this earth hallelujah well I was meditating on this verse and thinking about it and you know if that's the last moment when all of the heavens and all of the angels come but the same dynamic is true for us now and to understand spiritual warfare we have to understand what it means to open heavens who is Yeshua at the second coming and what is the role of angels let's just take a moment to think about that there we see all of the heavens open so that all of the Angels can come but is that a moment is that a one-time thing well no actually the heavens can open a little bit when any one person dedicates himself to the Lord Yeshua said I give you the keys of the heaven of what you bind on earth I would say open and closed what you open on earth will be open in heaven what you closed on earth will be closing what does it key do it opens and closes so we want to pray every day I open open open open the gates of heaven and I close close close the gates of hell because we can do that a little bit every day you don't have to wait for it it's not that we're so strong it's in the name of Yeshua understanding who he is that he passes on to us and his name and faith and trusting him an ability to open something good from heaven and to close things bad coming from Hell so we want to do that more can you open all of heaven today for all these no no no but you could open a little bit more than it was yesterday first over yourself your family may be your nation and so we want to pray right now that the heavens would be open more and more and more there's a process that starts today of us opening the heavens over our own lives and more and more and more until that last moment when all of the heavens are opened so let's agree together by faith and prayer and supplication to see the heavens open more and more even over nations now at that point it says and I saw he said he saw a shoe of course and says he came to rule to fight to judge to make war now we have to change our image of your shoe a little bit he came the first time as the lamb to be slain but he's coming the second time to be the lion who's coming to rule and this view of Yeshua a fire of anger of making war of judging of being a ruling King is something that's most people are not used to well maybe nobody's used to it because we've never really seen it but but can you picture him as being a judge can you picture him being a general can use a picture him being King can you picture him being angry at the forces of evil fighting and that sense so to line up with his will we have to be able to see just the heavens open but how is Yeshua coming back that spiritual warfare he's fighting right now we have we win in spiritual warfare because he's a fighter he's fighting on the on behalf of good be fighting on behalf of holiness and righteousness and he's fighting on our behalf if we submit to him and lastly it says that the angels come it's interesting you remember right before you she was crucified he said to Peter he said look don't you realize I could ask my father right now and he would give me legions of warrior angels to come but he chose not to do that but he will do it when he comes the second time then the legions of angels will come with him so are we stuck again just no angels now and just all the angels when he comes back no when we pray according to the will of God it God mobilizes angels and we can pray right now not for all of them are going to come back on white horses today but God can help God can send angels those same angels that will come all together to fight when Yeshua comes back some of them one of them two of them ten of them one Legion I don't know as many as possible can come to fight now and on behalf so when we talk about spiritual warfare let's remember this first of all seeing yoshua waging war in righteousness and holiness secondly the heavens opening up in response to our prayers and the will of God and then thirdly warrior angels coming to help us one two Allegiant tenley I don't know but let's pray for more and more to open the heavens receive that fighter holiness spirit of Yeshua and see angels mobilized on behalf of us right now well that could change your life that could change your that could change your city or nation maybe it could change things around the whole globe let's do that together let's pray let's win in spiritual warfare let's open the heavens let's receive Yeshua in all of this power and might and let's see angels immobilized on our behalf in his behalf to see righteousness further than this earth Amen
