Our First Goodwill Grand Opening! Thrifting Orange County Goodwill

go ahead commentary all right here we go we're on our way to the new Goodwill the grand opening she will definitely not be using that there's a line what'd you get I've got a little pin a Goodwill pin m what else looks like a little bit of a Goodwill gift card right here nice cool mystery amount mystery amount I like that card that's cute t we are so excited to be here this morning to open our 2 with retail store right here in the City of Fountain Valley right we've got 15,000 square fet you're going to see just a really amazing um modern elevated secondhand shopping experience definitely not your grandmother's thrift store can we start a countdown five 3 2 1 are you ready to do this thing I'm ready to do this thing going into a new Goodwill brand new brand opening ribon cutting in our neighborhood in our neighborhood very exciting this is how far we are to the front door okay what is the game plan where are you heading to First in I'm going to the hard Goods the shiny things the figurines the paper weights the glass where are you going to go I want you to just quickly as you can with one eye with one good eye go up and down every aisle and just grab and we apologize now because we're not going to go slow we'll probably put things in the cart and show you later what we got we'll see what we could do so you're my wingman you try to get a cart okay I I'll find I'll find a cart I'll be holding all the things in my bosom what is a bosom it's like a this general area like this okay there's 1 2 3 four five six seven seven people seven people in front of us you see this bag right here can you go in and rip it off I mean it's just a Target brand but it's super cute oh yeah oh no we got stopped two more in front oh no someone just took it off no all right this is the different Chinese Health balls I like those wait $2.99 did they have a color of the day I don't know you know okay this is a pretty I'll have to show you everything I got later because I there was no way to hold all that and film um okay I don't think I need that but what else do we have have what are these sorted beads Mike you found a you found Birds you found Birds oh my gosh what year is this oh you found Birds 2024 not by the tail wait got Christmas over here just going to grab this SPO bowl for $149 I probably have more of those how cool carved oh it's got a baby down there 3.99 I like that so your trinket oh that's a beautiful one I like that Mike and some music boxes trinket it's everything how much $1.99 that's great this one's for you stie for your little fairy garden 99s we found the friend all right now we have two of these guys okay oh those are really cool pretty little tallo Vera soap dish yeah $2.99 I believe I spy something spoed here this may or may not be spoed I'm going to have to explore that I wish there was another one have to look at this I wasn't sure what it was till I saw his little fees yes that is an owl and [Music] 3.99 can't get it off yep very unique love it sorry for jumping all around but it's really hard to maneuver in here this is absolutely gorgeous I'm going to have to find out what that says but birds and the flowers all handmade gorgeous 9.99 I just discovered that orange is the color for 25% off which huh isn't it usually 50% off the color of the day that's that's different and not as good did you ask if I found anything I found this little teapot right now for $1.99 this is basically uh Target right here all brand new stuff from room essentials and threshold like this little heart shap Pottery piece right here really [Music] cute else we got hidden over here check out this perfume bottle I can oh and these little these little purple birds right here I don't think they're vintage but they are definitely cute and look how they match that Purple Heart more purple stuff gu I'm in the purple area that and there's something hidden up here we got oh hi hello beautiful stone bear I love you for only $1.99 okay this surprised me look at this okay and you can't see it oh oo built-in light that's cool and I'm going to probably pick that up for1 99 okay modern Tupperware number 17.99 we'll pass on that love you I love you I love you pig I love you pigs too I love you $4.99 $4.99 carved wood pigs sorry for the caming it's so so hard to get around anything else over here oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh I love you I might I might love you I can't even for $1.99 a wiener dog a wiener dog on a rock a little vintage box $1.99 so cool I love it $1.99 another one another one $1.99 that's two and then another basket don't like that one so much I just grabbed this I don't even know what this is this a child's toy wooden I might have to look that up since it's Magnolia and didn't I can't even look at the price right now no hands this had a pretty look to it but you like really thin glass however it does have a signature I believe it says Union Street 88 so it is vintage and I'll do a little look up on that one although I don't love how fragile it feels I'm actually back to this guy that I saw earlier this little vase for 49 that I could not grab before I had a cart but I do have a little black white so let's check this out thank you Tiffany of thrifting Vegas for giving me the little black light that I keep on my keychain and yeah I don't think this is a glowy so we'll pass oh Mother's Day is coming up I love mom a spark 1983 $1.9 and with a cool little wall hook a leather tie yes to this and saw an interesting shaped piece here see oh yeah it is glass dirty but ooh it's actually sparkly this is going to clean up great this is case glass and this is going to be gorgeous how much $3.99 in this red area I just found the box that I think goes with the little ball that I found but I only found one of the so I'm going to go back to the aisle in a bit and see if we can find the missing piece but I'm also looking at these little mushrooms for stie for her fairy garden you want those Satie grabbing them 9 cents oh look who's back hey like what is this I guess I don't know Native American art on soap $9.99 I think I'll put that back I'm finding so many good prices that I don't want to spend that I can find other things okay earlier off camera when I wasn't able to film I found another one of these in a different color so I'm adding that to my little collection I can't resist the little kitty cat not exactly sure what this is the plate and a shade I feel like it's missing a piece but it's probably something good what' you find you like that jacket yeah can I see the front oh cool extra extra large do you know what this is for nope it's for parmesan cheese shake it out of his eyeballs it's kind of morbid yeah it's a really pretty Candlestick two 99 is such a good price but I don't want to get it I don't know why another piece of this is not hand painted it's a it's an applied taloa look and I do see these three chickens are these from oh they're made in Italy have a little chip right there okay we're going to check out the glass where look at these whoa It's a smooshed Millie Fury got a matching one here okay $2.99 each I like those very pretty okay I have found a third one so now I need a fourth but I have no idea what color to look for oops I kind of like this Earth and home it's oil and vinegar they have like the little spouts I like this for me for five bucks do you want me to look up your unbreakable univac thermal efficiency thermos yeah see what it is these are Little Owl jars I think these actually are vintage they're sign oh my gosh they're super heavy do I want to get these I just found the fourth one yay now I have four of them oh no no no no yes now I have six of them just doubled my luck hold on hold on not the same huh that's really new ones got you have to keep a close eye around here things get swiped you look genuinely concerned yeah I'll give you a quick overview of what it's looking like in here got to go pretty quick because I know people don't like to be filmed hold done that guy likes to be filmed oh okay it's falling apart it's an upside down little that's cute I don't know what to call it it's just a little jar of cuteness much no price from the Philippines I am going to have a charlie horse I have to look at something to is this open I think the class is broken look up something this pretty I don't know if there's a marking under there but it is pretty enough and probably valued at least 12 so I'm going to grab [Applause] this this is interesting because it says made in France underneath I am going to look up what this might be valued at look at this little box with the inlaid marble for $2.99 made in Brazil very very cool [Music] this guy was falling off the back oh it's a little box it was right next to where this one was oh beautiful love it I put it in my hands I think it might be glowy wow such luck and there it is the missing ball amazing that's what I wanted to look at okay these are I think vintage salt and pepper Grinders let see if there's any branding on it don't see any branding going have to picture it you find everything at Goodwill okay okay he's kind of just like a HomeGoods but look at this guy five bucks you know who I'm thinking of my friend Danny all I can say is wow this will probably be the most expensive trip that I've ever had hting and I kind of Imagine putting much back but I am going to take a look through and see but yeah this is exciting I can't wait to show you everything I'm actually sitting in a chair for a moment just looking at the goods and I'm I want you to guess right now in the video over $100 or under $100 the picture might have been the only $10 item so give me your guesses right now but I will tell you at the end of the video I just have to show you the inside of this piece look at this isn't that gorgeous it has a big old signature confused about what it is but I love it I discovered this guy has a broken tail sorry buddy here is a sneak peek at today's haul except ignore that that's for my daughter look at these amazing pieces fairy and handcarved animals we have some Asian Decor pieces is some vintage Pottery sparkly glass trinket boxes the wiener dog dish he ended up being signed we have those beautiful inlaid wooden boxes those gorgeous hand blown glasses those would be so pretty with candles in them of course Mike's Jack of the pull pit fine the spoed little teacups oh yes he's distracting me the troska the little baskets I love the little Pottery pieces I ended up putting this glass set back cuz it was missing a piece the case glass the wiener dog on a rock the Mother's Day plaque that recycled glass cross is pretty cool some pieces from France little trinket boxes don't forget about that little carved Stone bear but keep watching because we actually end up finding a few more amazing pieces well Mike does can't forget about my my owl in this beautiful picture I'm pretty sure I was showing that sideways earlier I wanted to show my little vintage strawberry trinket box it says L France so I don't know if that's real um and then this is from France also and so is this guy with the blue sky Pottery score oh my gosh in my last video we found this bottom piece do you remember I was wondering what goes with it yeah that's oh my gosh you found the whole darn thing how much are they asking for that 10 bucks yes awesome I'll take that you found the other one yep oh that's awesome Mike we'll take both guy with one eye yeah good job yes yes Mike with another Jack in the pull pits for two Jack in the pulpits in one day beautiful are you so proud what I like this color one you like that one better yeah a like pretty blue I do too M yeah I'm in line we come up here with that oh I'm actually surprised I'm surprised it doesn't it might glow it's too bright in here it might but what are they asking for that have the eye today oh I don't like I don't like that price I know too much because it doesn't have like a super glow to I'm going to say pass sadly I love glass paper weights though for $3.99 I would have taken it but how much would you take it how much maybe 15 to 20 20 probably closer to 20 but everyone I know it' be expensive to ship too okay I'll go put it back sorry thank you I couldn't forget about blue so blue you're getting two new scratch pads and some cat toys hope you like it okay one more for blue because believe it or not our cat does take walks in fact I'll show you right now thank you Goodwill for the gift cards thank you very much for the gift you grab it out I don't know how I think they're $5 that's what I heard okay are they so nice thank you so this should cover it right what was the total it's 20853 20853 okay but look at all this awesome stuff we're done we got here at 8:15 got got in the store maybe like only like 9:15 yeah and then um it's 12:45 so however long it is long day long day long day but super fun day our first ever grand opening that we've been to so come and take a look look at the Goodwill Fountain Valley uh it's a great store a lot of friendly uh uh customer service M and uh some great stuff good prices I have really good did you end up saying it was good prices yeah they had a couple things that were little maybe for some of your like toys they were but little Trinkets and figurines and things like that were pretty good so but we had a wonderful time it was great take a look at what we got and thank you so much Goodwill for the $20 in gift cards we got today you guys are awesome so generous and
