Fusion node
graphs can get big and complicated,
so here are a few tips to stay organized and stay
efficient. First of all,
I always have Arrange Tools to Grid
enabled, which snaps the tools to
the grid, makes it easier
to align things. Second,
work left to right and
top to bottom. Some people
work more horizontally, some
people work more vertically,
both is fine, but make sure
that you don't have too many arrows,
which are like pointing
backwards or upwards or lines
crossing each other. If you reuse
stuff across the node graph, an
alt-left-click can give you this pipe
router, which you can often use to
make it clearer again. Last part,
zoom out a little bit and see if
without reading labels things are
still logical to you. If your node
graph looks like this, it's
probably good. If the same
node graph looks like this, you
are in trouble. So keep your
node graph visually clean, so
when you come back tomorrow,
you still understand
what's going on.
