not sure it really needs my help like eh they should be eyeballing me their videos are so well edited incisive and sharp that it almost feels insulting that they have to get a recommendation from me seriously go watch any of their videos and come back and explain to me why they don't have a million subscribers it's incomprehensible to me check out this video is life play to win I literally tried to make this exact same video and they just friggin styled on me with it with a channel name like the people's bayonet you know you're in for some uncompromising commentary what you might not have expected is accessible and thoughtful video essays that don't require you to have read a thousand books by dead white dudes if you're looking for some Liberty arian socialist videos you can send to normal people and and let them experience without having to explain a bunch of words to them this is probably the channel for you rather the left is another small channel pumping out leftist video essays and I think just mentioning the fact that they have a video titled a turf is not a comrade is sufficient to establish their bonafide ease if that doesn't sound like something you want to watch what the are you even doing here here's one for your ear balls check out the anti-capitalist hip-hop artist professor clarity song rat-pack you heard vocal or filmmakers of luster and color makes video essays that do deep dives into the work of filmmakers of lustre and color using the word filmmaker here to mean everyone involved in making a movie not just the director or producer like the word is usually used they did a video about directors of color who could make a Batman movie so they're obviously pandering to me at this point I'm the only person in the world that likes Batman armchair justice warrior argues with weird reactionaries using the type of philosophical rigor that they assume they have you might not agree with all of his opinions but he puts his arguments out honestly and clearly so you always know where he's coming from I appreciate the approach of rather than trying to destroy your opponent just assuming good faith and disputing their claims on their own merit material analysis is a podcast that applies material analysis to Indian politics in the horrible fascist violence erupting all over India incredibly brave and principled work died famous is a nonprofit that connects families who have lost a loved one with portrait artists who can give them something to remember them by they also run a youtube channel that is critical of liberal foot they also run a youtube channel that is critical of liberal philanthropy filleth they also run a YouTube channel that is critical of liberal philanthropy particularly when it's done for heartwarming content check out their video on mr. beast who has always just kind of made my skin crawl a little bit trashcan 13:12 is a lefty twitch streamer they're streaming all the time it can be kind of difficult to find game streamers who aren't reactionary weirdos trashcan 13:12 does their level best to maintain a safe comfortable atmosphere in their chat sometimes you don't need a big heavy video essay and you just want to chill out and watch someone around in gta5 also one three one two you know what that means super ocean makes fun little animated music videos it's adorable and sometimes they make some interesting points another slice makes extremely practical guides to organizing in real life everything from how to organize your workplace to how to organize tenants groups in your apartment building to making people shut the up about Bill Gates there are no good billionaires an arc is a YouTube channel making videos about you guess that anarchist theory perhaps not surprisingly just well researched and well-constructed explanations of anarchist ideology anarch's videos go beyond the typical anarchist 101 videos that someone like Fox line might make delving into more complicated and maybe to some people challenging ideas highly recommended yeas Minsky talks about politics economics and philosophy through the lens of video games criticism he also produced the only video has say about a cheeseburger that's likely to make you cry today if that's not a ringing endorsement then I don't know what I'm doing silver face is another small lefty channel putting up videos that mostly focus on individual resistance an acts of self-care and they're Canadian which means they made a video about the safe third country agreement which is sort of one of my pet issues basically it means Canada must turn away refugees if they apply for refugee status in the States first and vice versa regardless of whether or not the other country ends up granting them refugee status don't worry they do a better job of explaining it and why it's bad than I'm doing right now hey thought slimes stop bumming me out I don't want to learn stuff I just want to play tabletop RPGs okay check out the San Gennaro coops TT RPGs there were cooperative so their profits are shared and ownership remains with the creators maybe I'll get one and win and mean some other adult babies and we'll all play one on stream sometime who knows is that something you want you jackals queer POTUS has the delightfully specific focus of reading about a United States president every couple of weeks from a left-wing and queer perspective if you're looking for some American history that's a little less jingoistic than what you might have found in the history books then you'll find some fun stuff here hard-core lime is a bit more of a variety channel than some of the others on this list he's an Australian left--oh who talks about politics sports and comic books apparently you can be into sports and comic books I didn't know it could be this way I thought you had to choose and he's gonna love that joke because not making those jokes is the entire point of his video and why the left should care about sports and our final recommendation Kay and skittles now I was certain I had already recommended this channel on the eyeball zone but it turns out that I had not which is a fuckup on my part because their videos are stellar they're funny smart and know how to make a point that is comprehensive without ever feeling like it drags and also bonus points because skittles the ferret is in every video and with that we bid a fond farewell to the eyeball zone forever look it's been a lot of fun putting eyeballs on videos for the past few months but just kidding nerds the eyeballs will not be denied its eyeballs forever Jeepers Creepers where did those peepers get you the eyeball zone will only grow in power as the years march on we have been set free and now the world is ours you
