One Piece Chapter 1112 Review! Oda is Finally Back!

so you mean to tell me we were on a 3-week Hiatus just to get a cliffhanger at the end of this chapter oh my gosh Oda what are you doing to me bro anyways it was a big chapter we are left on a huge Cliffhanger chapter 1,112 titled hard aspect I kind of want to get my critiques out for this chapter in the beginning and then kind of give my Praises so I'll give you guys the hatchet then I'll give you guys the I guess the honey mind you I rarely have critiques when it comes to one piece but of course nothing is perfect and everything is subject to critique one critique I do have with this chapter and it's been present in the past couple of chapters but it's primarily bothered me in this chapter it's this whole plot with the you know counter viap Punk is waiting 10 minutes to reveal a crucial piece of information and he's counting down the time and we've been dealing with this for a couple of chapters now this feels like the most this just feels really convenient right I don't know like for me if I was Vega Punk and I'm putting myself in Vega Punk shoes if I'm trying to get a very important piece of information out there into the world I wouldn't give you 10 minutes before I you know say this information especially if the world government is literally on the island and they're about to attack me and whatnot I would try to save this information as fast as I can of course maybe I'd give you like a 1 minute or 2 minutes to set up but that's it not 10 minutes and realistically even if there was 10 minutes Oda doesn't necessarily have to play with it like we are literally witnessing the 10 minutes passed by Oda could have just skipped these 10 minutes but these 10 minutes feel like ours I mean it's nothing major it's not like oh wow I hate one piece now no it's just like a little nitpick that I'm like H I don't know how I feel about this but other than that the the entire chapter was phenomenal now this chapter is pretty much a continuation from last week's chapter the Goro are still trying to find the device that Vega Punk embedded this message on so that they can destroy it and you know all the Gori are currently doing their thing we we get to see a little bit of them in action which is really cool we get to see some moments with Bonnie where someone insults Bonnie's father she turns him into a kid and she beats him up which is like kind of hilarious this chapter also kind of felt long I think because there was a lot of dialogue now however the dialogue wasn't really like plot driving dialogue it was just regular chitchat it wasn't like anything it wasn't like Exposition dialogue it was just regular dialogue between the characters so I don't really want to delve into all the dialogue cuz there is so much of it and if you want to go see it just read the chapter we do get to see a moment where Luffy kind of loses energy you know he turns into a grandpa again we see this all the time whenever he runs out of gear fifth and he tells us that when he eats food he actually gets his energy back and we kind of already knew this so you know they give him a piece of like shark meat the Giants give Luffy a piece of shark meat and he eats it and then he gets his you know uh figure back I guess and then he just ham the the Bor and the boror say he has like really hard skin so it actually hurts Luffy's hand so that was another cool moment near the ending of the chapter we get to see a lot of like the straw hats and the straw hat alliances actually encounter a Goro member each of them resp respectively Bonnie Frankie and them encounter NOS Juro Usopp and them encounter Saj Garcia Saturn so it seems like something's going to have to give and that's pretty much the chapter there isn't really anything major I I I was expecting us to come back to a big chapter I think maybe next week is going to be the big chapter because of the Cliffhanger so let's talk about the Cliffhanger because I think that's what everybody's going to be talking about in the upcoming weeks so at the end of the chapter it seems like one of the Goro members I believe his name is St Marcus Mars the the guy with the long mustache beard and the long flowy hair it seems he's found the embedded message right which I'm I'm like so mad right now because Vega punk you made us wait 10 minutes if these mans destroy your message and you didn't even get to reveal all of it I will be so angry anyways he finds the message okay and he notices something it seems like he's looking up at something it says like gurgle gurgle like we hear that sound effect so I don't know what it is and his eyes they have like these lined effects on them so it seems like he's kind of like you know distressed and then at the end of the chapter it says front cover and color spread Next Issue Whenever there is a color page for one piece a cover spread whatever especially if they hype it up in the week before that means the chapter is going to be big so easily from this Cliffhanger and from that piece of text right there we know that next week's chapter is going to be big which is good because I I was hoping this chapter would be the big Monumental chapter cuz we've been off of one piece for 3 weeks but it's next week so chapter 1,113 other than that this was a good chapter I don't think it was like a spec spectacular chapter of One Piece it was just a good chapter um I think the chap I think the chapter before the break was better um I just don't like this plot point with like this convenience uh plot driven point with Vega Punk and the whole time thing that kind of pisses me off but other than that I think it was a good chapter I'm excited for next week though um but yeah listen if you want more anime content manga content make sure you follow
