uh i don't know what that is there be probably [Music] hey guys how's it going today well so i finally got the call that the elevator is taking peas again all it has 150 bushels left bottom of the cone on the hopper here of uh clean seed with my bin run seed that i've cleaned and this is the leftovers so wanted to get rid of it get all the bin bottoms cleaned out so we got we're fresh reset for this harvest here everything will be cleaned out ready to go that way so uh they want me to bring it tomorrow morning so auguring the bottom out here and then i got a little wee bit and one of the three tons from when we clean the air cedar out i'm gonna dump that in as well so should be good anyway talked in a few holy [ __ ] boys we had a close call uh it's the next day after loading those peas i'm at this abandoned yard where we make hay my cousin this distant cousin there's a power line laying there and caught the grass on fire that power line's been laying there in that grass for 25 years now and we've cut hay over it every year the pickup grabbed it yanked it out of the grass and made it i don't know what the [ __ ] why like i said this yard's been abandoned for 20 years and he's been paying power on this place abandoned like that [ __ ] house how is that not burned down yet power line went from the house to this old shop well everything's collapsed and it's been buried under grass somehow this [ __ ] thing caught it so i just got off the phone with 9-1-1 uh because the grass was on fire in a down power line so you phone 411 and you never get a [ __ ] answer so anyway i'll keep you posted boys well it's the next day [Music] i well i just didn't really feel like videoing yesterday i guess not at all so after i had that incident with the power line a man and a half ton showed up from the volunteer fire department to look at what was going on and like i said already when i was on the phone with them i had the fire all under control there's nothing left but uh he looked at it and then i didn't really know where to go from there so 911 uh sas power to come disconnect the lines and then when he showed up at the half gun he phoned to ask what the eta was and uh sas power hadn't even phoned them back yet at that point that was like half an hour after everything so that was really good so they didn't even know when they were gonna be out there so about an hour and a half later they finally showed up and disconnected everything and rolled all those wires up and locked the box out so the power can't get turned back on at least but the [ __ ] what a gong show anyway i bailed the rest of the day made quite a few bales and now uh it's early in the morning it's too tough to go bailing right now but it'll be good here in a little bit so i'm just working on getting the rest of my hay stock and then [Music] that way i can let the cows back out on this side because they're getting things pretty mowed down there on the side that they are in so i guess can i get this wrapped up i won't have these all stacked i'm really stocked for an hour or so here and then it should be good to go bailing so anyway we're going to the lake after that bring the camper up there for amanda and the kids and then maybe i'll get to stay there tomorrow because they're calling for rain here this afternoon and possibly tomorrow and then we got some custom spraying to go do for my buddy again there the one that we already sprayed where he was selling oats a couple months ago but anyway my story for you so i guess i'll get back to stock and we'll talk to you and we got something else to do oh and i'm back to the note of the going camping i usually try to upload my videos there in the evening well it's the evening for me uh there's no service up there to upload videos so the next couple three videos might be more like noon dinner time kind of deal when i'm at home here working so just pay attention because the video might be up at a different time you're not used to so you don't miss it but anyway talk to you later so i was out bailing again here bailed for about an hour and all of a sudden uh try to start a bale and i couldn't it wouldn't turn it'd go in and it'd just build up and then it would plug you know what the [ __ ] is going on and came out and noticed this set of belts wasn't turning so the hay would come up and then it would just kind of sit looks like absolute dog [ __ ] but what happened the threads stripped off on the roller so the chain was just sitting on there spinning here the sprocket was just sitting on there spinning so i uh i just kind of welded the sprocket to the end of the shaft gonna have to work for now and then i'm gonna have to try to find a sprocket i guess so you're supposed to just have a threaded bolt hold it on the splines but anyway should work i only got a little bit left to go and then i guess for next year i'll have to maybe try to find a roller for it so anyway back to work we go one minute 37 seconds later so i'm bailing in some real heavy swaths and i noticed that the hitch pin had been dragging in some of it just made a bale come around the corner and all of a sudden clunk here's the pin where's the european so hey must have pulled my [ __ ] uh snap off of it and then somehow it [ __ ] worked its way out so that's real good i guess now i gotta go get a jackal try to jack that up get the jack back on and hook up again [ __ ] everything's going sideways here this morning the next day ah yesterday was a real pain in the ass [ __ ] those tires are were [ __ ] i think they were two years old when christ was born already so they don't owe anyone anything they're all they're all starting to [ __ ] come apart real bad but whatever this one here i was bailing and i felt like i had a rock caught between those are going along you kind of feel it do that every time the tiger come around so i jumped out to check and this had a great big weird looking lump the cords were coming apart inside and then poof the way it went about 20 minutes later so i guess i have to try to source a used one there in 18434 same as what 40 20 here has but they're ridiculously expensive like two grand for a bias ply i've got new tires coming for this tractor i'm switching to some big radials on this guy just so you put a little more fluid and have a little more weight in the back because that's one of the flaws with this tractor she's a little bit late in the rear end but anyway i have a bunch of trees lying on the fence out in the pasture here and i got some bales left to stack so we came back from the lake here to do that real quick and then i want to move the cows to this side of the pasture so the other side can get a bit of regrowth on it that way it's kind of the plan so we'll head out to the uh where those trees are the man is just getting all the fencing [ __ ] ready and uh we'll talk to you when we're there it's going over to the trees right there all these dead trees we gotta be rid of here this fall and we can fall them into the field without it landing in the wheat chainsaw them all down and then we'll uh take them over here and put them in this pile and burn them for now though i'll just [ __ ] scoop them up and dump them over here a couple more chunks there and then see what else is laying on it there's some wire that's a little down and this or not so see what's going on this was all fixed here but then some of the crazy winds we've had it broke the trees off and fell on it all again but anyway there grab the last few little ones there and then i'll have to pull away your tight when she gets here with the vent stretcher nothing like getting a nice shower on your open station tractor while you're moving hey boy it smells nice so [Music] not so bad really anyway fence is fixed and now i am unloading the towing truck there the load of uh alfalfa that i brought home from our land that we rented i bought these bales there instead of selling them i'm probably going to bring 30 or so of them home and keep them for when they're going to start calving and they're just there after so that's a real good high quality feed that way when they're milking hard so anyway oh there's a good bump that's kind of the plan for now i'm gonna get this unloaded and then amanda's gonna come back and drive the big truck and we'll pick the last of the bales that are out here and get them stacked run the cows across and that'll probably be uh be a vigil four days in the making so anyway hard to do one hand [Applause] kind of the crap thing with the manure tines on here is when you're coming up like this so you don't grab the bales that are underneath as well [Music] we're not gonna back over any [ __ ] we'll put this in the stack and we'll talk to you again here in a few okay let's see her first car was a standard so she drove she's driven this truck lots [Music] oh professional anyway she's gonna go drive that into the middle of the bales oh grabbing gears like a [ __ ] super trucker she's gonna move that over to the bales and we'll throw a load on and that'll be about that i think so talked in a few [Music] there we go last one amanda's over there moving the big truck uh i'm gonna park it over by the stock there so i can unload it across back here i'm just gonna grab this last one here [Music] and we'll bring it over there too but that's probably where i'm going to leave you because i think i've got loads of footage here for this video so all kinds of craziness has happened in this video hopefully the next one thing's kind of steady out a little bit but i guess that's where i'm gonna leave yes so thank you much for watching make sure you hit that like button and comment subscribe for more and we'll talk to all you guys in the next one [Music] you
