Haulin hay!!

uh i don't know what that is there be probably [Music] hey guys how's she going today well we pick up where we just kind of left off in the last video amanda was moving the uh towing truck full of bales and she found a wet spot so i'm hoping i can pull her out with this the 895 and not just pull the truck in half or something i tried pushing on the back of the 40 20 but she wasn't gonna do it so what my plan is here is i'm just gonna throw the big strap and a chain around the front axle and we'll just give a real gentle tug of forward commotion and hopefully that doesn't so we'll talk to you when we get over there what'd you go and do that for oh it's pretty spongy here all right oh i think i'll be able to pull it out it's not too bad see i tried to push but i was just squooshing the bales down a little ways but it'll come out easy i'll just pull her all the way to the road here you're coming with me towing truck that wasn't too bad at least well it's the next morning now this big weird wall we're driving into i'm just on my way to grandpa henry's we're gonna haul some uh grass hay because we've got most of that ready or all of that ready i guess that we're gonna have for sale uh the one guy who wants a majority of it is home today so we're gonna try and get that haul to him antoine should be should be or almost that graph of henry's with the towing truck i'm going to meet him there and get them loaded and then we'll drive down the road to the next place to get the second load and that'll be all that guy wants our two loads so 40 bales be a couple bucks in the pocket that way and then antoine is going to go uh cutting again but we'll see here i don't know what this is that we're driving into some real heavy fog it was nice clear blue skies but we'll find out i guess [Music] hair two loads of hay done and gone with with the elevator phoned and they want antoine all wheat tomorrow so he's gotta load trucks up and grandpa and i are gonna run home and go do chores here but i'm gonna go have a hot dog first so i guess we will talk to you guys here in a few hey leroy come here come here little holstein so we're back at home here now the next day whatever you want to call it amanda's just looking after her babies hey willy everyone's getting their chop and minerals but that one little guy there the uh cow that we had left to calve uh where she old white face over here she had calved and he had all kinds of things wrong with him he was blind and we around with him all night and he couldn't get up and you'd bend his joints and go click click click click click his joints are all messed up so we messed around for a day and a half with them and nothing we could do so we found this little holstein bowl calf which i mean is better than having no calf on the cow for 200 and we went and got him and uh yeah they're all bonded up and happy so all is well in that regard anyways but ah now we're gonna move the 40 20 to the one place where we're selling hay to because all they have is a skid steer for unloading and uh it won't be able to work very well for unloading our trailers it won't reach near tall enough so we're gonna bring the 40 20 there and we should be good to go so i guess we will talk to you here in a few we're on our way and she's pouring over there about a mile away it's just starting to spit here but i think we're gonna just narrowly avoid it here these swans sure hoping so anyway he's driving the 40 20 because he knows where we're going i well we're bringing the 40 20 to the place where we're selling the hay because they don't have a loader that'll work to unload our trailer and we don't want to wait until harvest time to get moving haze so we're going to bring the 40 20 there to unload with and then load with the 46 just because we're nice nice guys like that and yeah he knows where we're going and i don't so i'm going to follow him and then we're going to go up to the field and i'll throw a load on this and he'll be good to start hauling and that'll probably be a video so i guess i'll talk to you when we get where we're going so tuan is uh nowhere near the bale mover that i or dad is so he's learning uh how i should move the truck ahead a little bit further i guess but we'll get a couple little clips of them here moving bales so [Laughter] only one way to learn though so these bales are bigger than what we were making before because before we weren't making them big enough so we bumped the size up quite a bit so these should be closer to that oh i had to wager yes 1350 to 1400 pounds they're uh like a five and three-quarter foot bale the other ones are about a five and a quarter and uh they didn't quite weigh up what we wanted them to weigh it didn't really matter but these will be better now so anyway i guess we'll talk to you again here in a few how you doing there skippy only been one casualty so far i'll stand on the brakes after you put the next two on so you can bump those ones tight that way oh he only had one that he popped so got to be careful with this bucket the grapple fork's so strong and the cutting edge is so sharp you got your cutting edge along the twines here or your net wrap especially the net wrap really didn't like it and you squeeze the bale too hard it'll just slice them all right off so that's why there's one that's a bit poofed there but oh oh twan you're too too close [Laughter] all gathered these ones aren't going too far at least so we're not hauling the indian head yet so when we go that far we'll have straps and everything else on but these ones here we're not going very far so not a big deal anyway let me get this last one on we'll talk to you then okay so that top tier is a little bit too loose so i'm just gonna hop in the truck here and stand on the brake and he can give that top tier a shunt and get them all all the space that's in them out of it that way can't see them there we go anyway take this into the yard and
