ONCE A MONTH GROCERY HAUL?! | HUGE WALMART GROCERY HAUL FOR 30 FREEZER MEALS

hello friends good morning i hope you are having a productive day today we're basically doing a freezer meal grocery haul i am going to be making 30 3-0 freezer meals because i wanted to be as efficient as possible i just went through my shopping list put everything on walmart grocery pickup and i'm here picking it up right now so today i have worked out i did a spin class it was amazing super sweaty no i have not showered yet got my kids all off to school we did the breakfast clean kitchen decluttered a few more things in my house dave finally is it acquiesced to uh declutter his clothes i'm so proud of him he must have gotten rid of at least 20 maybe 30 like button-up shirts because he wears business professional for work so it's slacks button-up shirt tie or suit he has so many things that he's had for 10 years they don't fit right i mean 20 or 30 shirts probably at least 10 pairs pants like slacks that he had bought over 10 years ago so proud of him and now i feel like i have too many hangers but we're doing all good things and so i just checked in with my phone waiting for them to come out hopefully my trunk is empty i think it is it should be okay i am excited to tell you how much everything cost because i was challenged to see how cheaply i could do 30 freezer meals there are only two things i ended up not getting at walmart because they were so expensive so i am gonna run to albertsons to pick them up on the way home sometimes people ask me while i'm waiting here about the gas and the time to go to multiple stores yes that could absolutely be a factor however i live in a very small town and albertsons is literally one mile down the road and i have to pass it anyway oh they're here wow they have made that pickup so efficient i looked at the substitutions on my app i okayed it she put everything in the back she closed it she walks like it's it's so easy where was this when i had to take four kids to the grocery store sometimes i look at all of the advancements we've made in the last 15 years even like craigslist like buying used baby items on craigslist like a jumper room is that what it's called like a baby swing i couldn't do any of that when my kids were little it was so much harder i just think there's all these wonderful tools these days having a baby would be so much easier to just come and do this and not have to cart my kids to the store that's enough talking let's run to albertsons get our last two ingredients and then i'll meet you back home and show you what i picked up and how much it costs we're home i have all the stuff and i will show it to you and tell you how much everything was but first there's two things i need to do number one is i need to get a drink because i worked out this morning i'm like really thirsty today so today i am drinking you know i like my flavored waters so today i am doing cure wild thing wild thing have you seen that commercial is that geico wow thing i think where the guy likes things in the anyway berry pomegranate i actually found these at walmart because there was an ibotta and i bought them but what happened is they decided to also give you guys a coupon code so i'm i'm bottle too so we're gonna mix this up right now and then i have to scan my receipt because i did get and i bought an item today so here we go okay i need to get my phone so i can scan my receipt something i saw that came up on i bought it is something oops i love and it's the sparkling ice with caffeine these are delicious but my walmart doesn't carry them but my albertsons does since i was already in albertson's and i walked right down that aisle they were there they were on sale and i got 50 cents off each one i will scan my receipt so i don't forget to get my money back i've been using ibotta since 2012 and i've racked up like thousands of dollars worth of savings so if you haven't tried it yet i mean i've been using it forever i do the length should give you a 10 bonus if you are interested in that okay so that one's done and then also since i already have this out i always try and remember to scan my receipt with fetch rewards you know to buy anything specific they just give you points and then i've been redeeming for amazon gift cards and what's nice is you can scan any receipt you can take your friend's receipts you can pick receipts up off the ground or dig through the trash although i don't recommend digging through trash but you could do it if you wanted and sometimes fetch rewards gives you free stuff too but i can i could never find them usually so i didn't get very many points for that one it's just a receipt bonus but you never know what's gonna happen so i do have links for both of those with a bonus and a discount for the cure the cure been listening to the cure a lot listening to the cure a lot i got to get all these uh all these bags unpacked and let me show you what i got here is everything i picked up let's go over it really quickly some burrito sized tortillas russets two bags of shredded hash browns two things of whole kernel corn taco shells did you know they made whole wheat panko bread crumbs me neither i got this one from albertsons because walmart didn't have any rotini at all they didn't have whole grain martini white rotini nothing when i was shopping online they just had some weird things that were not there like this some black beans some light red kidney beans and just to make the freezer meal prep easier i got pureed ginger and stir in paste garlic i've never used these before and they do cost a little bit extra but as far as efficiency and time i thought we'd give it a try and i even splurged and got the organic fire roasted diced tomatoes look at me who am i bunch of onions some green onions splurged and got the multi-colored bell peppers instead of green bell peppers celery carrots i tried to find like pre-diced carrots to save myself on time but i couldn't find any of that walmart substituted the ballpark burger buns for just their name brand which is great for the same price so that's a great deal for me some mozzarella cheese some fiesta blend cheese cream cheese some breakfast sausage this is the cheapest brand i can find even cheaper than the great value brand a shoulder butt roast so which is it is it a shoulder or a butt a little confused not the cheapest price i've ever seen in fact i probably should have gotten this at albert since but it's fine and that's literally everything that was from walmart over here are the items i got from albertsons and here's why i needed two three pound chuck roasts these are six dollars a pound at walmart which made each roast what felt like 15 15 or something like that maybe a little bit more and i was thinking that's really expensive i've definitely seen this cheaper somewhere else so i pulled up the albertsons sales flyer on my computer and saw that albertsons has them on sale for 2.99 a pound half the price i figured since i needed two of them the savings was worth it i had planned on running into albertson's to get my two beef roasts i mean we're talking almost a 20 savings just right here and then while i was looking at the ad i noticed that their two pound blocks and shredded cheese are on major sale for 3.99 versus the seven dollars they cost at walmart so i put two of my bags of cheddar cheese that was in my cart i put it back and i got them here instead because i was already going in for these so between the two roasts and the two cheeses i saved close to 30 just on these switches right here walmart is not the cheapest for everything all the time and because i was in albertson's i couldn't help but look at the clearance stuff on the bakery rack they have these like freshly baked bagels for 99 cents so this is breakfast for the next two mornings their eggs were 69 cents a dozen limit of two so i grabbed these i do like getting this pepperoni value pack because it's five dollars for two pounds it's i mean they're not cut very nicely but my kids don't care they just like pepperoni pizza i like getting this and then freezing it in sections and just getting them out as i need them it makes a really easy homemade pizza night all this stuff truthfully was because i looked at the ad for those and i just saw the rest of the stuff in the ad the barilla pasta was 88 cents a box i got uh the bow ties which is one of actually the mini bow ties it's one of my favorite pastas and one plain rotini and like i said one whole wheat rotini over there it was a limit of six it's a weird number but whatever and like i said at the beginning there was a limit of five on ibotta for the sparkling ice plus caffeine so i got a strawberry citrus blue raspberry and orange passion fruit five of those i think dave will really like that one and these were also on sale for like a dollar 29 a jar and i do enjoy a vodka sauce and haven't had in a long time but i had a really good idea for this hang on tell you about it how are you feeling about a taste test between the name brand the like hoity toity private selection and then this cheaper store brand this one is about six dollars six or seven at walmart i can't remember i can't find the spicy one at my sam's club or costco it's only the marinade this one is 250. this one is a dollar thirty i feel like doing a blind taste test and seeing what do we prefer and also why is this spelled different than this these two are the same so is this one wrong my italian friends help me out here because i am no expert on this but i think this this could be a fun experiment what do you think if you would like to see this give this video a thumbs up i know what you're thinking how in the world does this small amount of food make 30 freezer meals and that's because i actually already had some of the ingredients i needed to do this and it helps me clean out my freezers i already had boneless skinless chicken breasts i already had ground turkey and ground beef canned pasta sauce boxes of penne noodles that i needed this isn't all of it like i did already have some the moment you've been waiting for is how much did this cost that is an excellent question that is an excellent question i am going to have to pull up my receipt and my walmart receipt and add that up for you right now for the freezer meals section after tax i do pay tax on food in the state of idaho 104.56 not including these items which were not for the freezer meals just for me personally so not including those but all all of this which is pretty impressive because this pork roast at 12 27 and this roast and this roast another 17 my roasts alone added up my total buy a lot that will wrap up today's haul for freezer meals video and don't forget to check in in just a couple
