thank you for being a righteous god we thank you for being a deliverer we thank you for being a sustainer we're thinking that when the enemy came to eat up our flesh he missed when he came to eat up our flesh he missed when he shot his target he missed when he tried to deceive us he missed when he tried to take us out he missed so we exhaust you we lift you up high above every situation and we speak crop failure to every crop that's been sown in our life for our demise we speak quite failure to sickness we should speak quite far into bitterness we speak crop failure to the man who's trying to take our joy who's trying to take our peace and we speak that we will live through it i feel the wind shifted i feel bodies being healed i feel people being delivered i feel people being restored your worship home i see people right here in the sanctuary worshiping god and we know you in the house because you have come with a mind to worship the lord he is so worthy to be praised and we thank god for this holiday season many people are traveling and we bless you with traveling grace uh put up uh the book of deuteronomy chapter number eight and verse number 10 i pray that you just have a blessed weekend sharing with family members and friends as i said earlier uh at the eight o'clock hour we've never been one of those churches that tell members you shouldn't go on vacation that's silly that you shouldn't have some away time with your family as a matter of fact we stress that because uh the strength of the church is dependent upon the strength of the family if you're not strong at home then the church is not going to be strong here so we know that there are going to be times when you're going to get away and spend with your family we encourage that but the word of god says when thou has eaten and are full when thou has blessed the lord thy god for the good land which he has given thee the next verse says beware that thou what forget not the lord thou god in not keeping his commandments and his judgments and his statues which i command this the this day he says when i bless you he says when you get to your blessed place just don't forget the one who brought you there and who gave you all the blessings and so i've been hearing that in the spirit all day god just simply say don't forget about me while you're enjoying all of my blessings don't forget about me have a good time but don't forget about me and so this morning we are committed to not forgetting about our god we're gonna pray for our dear friends in the new orleans area i was talking to bishop paul martin and bishop daryl brister we're going to be doing some things along with my good friend bishop noel jones to help them in that area and i was all ready to ask you all to stop helping this morning and uh bishop bristol say wait let us survey the people right now and find out what the needs are before you start asking the people to to help and i thought that that was to be admired and so we're going to wait until we find out what the various needs are and then we're going to see what we can do is that all right amen but we want we know we can pray and we thank god because if it wasn't for his grace it could have been us right we thank god for sustaining us so many hurting people in new york and wisconsin all around the world and so we want to go to the throne of grace but we want to remember our god today and not forget him can we pray father please accept and receive our gifts our tithes our offerings our sacrifices first fruit offerings we acknowledge the fact that we would not have jobs we would not have incomes if it wasn't for the oh god you provide you make ways out of no ways you give us the strength you give us the very air that we breathe to be able to go and get an income and a salary to be on an occupation a vocation and now father we acknowledge you as our source we pray for the dear people in new orleans and other areas that are experiencing disaster and tragedy father will you uphold them with your strong arm your right hand we know that you are our provider we've never seen the righteous forsaken or your seed begging bread the lord is our shepherd and we don't have to walk so we trust you to lead us to be a blessing to others and that you will supply that needs and we thank you for taking care of us we thank you for meeting our knees and making ways out of nowhere you have not brought us this far to leave us now as a matter of fact we stop right now and we just give you the praise and we give you the honor and we give you the glory because you've been so good to us thank you o god for all of your mercy and your benefits towards us now bless us during this worship time in jesus name we pray and all that agreed said amen give god the best done it so many times in my life and he keeps doing it so i know that he will i i am amazed let me tell you i'm amazed with this study that god has given us that the children of israel after 70 years everybody say 70 years you come out of babylonian captivity and everything has been torn down the the temple was torn down solomon's temple is no more and up under ezra zerubbabel and nehemiah they begin to rebuild the temple and they got to build in back listen to me but they noticed that something is missing and what is missing is there's no ark of the covenant that represented the presence of god and then they begin to notice there is no glory [Music] there's no divine manifestation of his presence listen to me god was not there they had a building but no god no fire failed no fire failed there was no urim and thummim there were there was no discernment in the house and then there was no prophetic voice [Music] and for 400 years they kept on doing church and it was religion without relationship they went through the motions but they had no god it was a form of godliness but it denied the very power of god and i began to weep before god i said god whatever you do we don't want to be the church of the missing five and so i begin to teach on this and today our lesson is to understand what the glory of god is all about i want you to open up the word of god to second chronicles 3 we all with open face open face beholding you you will understand in just a moment why he says open face [Music] beholding as in a glass what the glory of the lord are changed [Music] into the same image whatever you focus on the most is that which you become [Music] as we behold his face were changed into the same image from what glory to glory even asked by the spirit of the lord from glory to glory you may be seated in the very presence of god let me say to you number one and i really want you to study this out with me i want you to grow with me you are already at glory level i want you to write that down you are already at glory level say that with me you are already at glory level now let me tell you and show you why i'm saying that put up romans 8 and 30 romans 8 and 30. you're already not trying to get there but if you're saved in here this morning i want you to know that you're all ready at glory level why do i say that either you find romans 8 and 30 or you look on the screens now listen to what it says moreover whom he did predestinate them he also called and whom he called them he also justified he called righteous he made righteous and whom he justified them he also what okay he also glorified now i want you to notice in that text as i teach you this morning that is past tense everybody say past tense now what i'm saying is you are glorified elder odom you are glorified now every everybody's sitting here if you're saved you are glorified now let that sink for just a moment you are glorified now we live in the already not yet of the kingdom did that make any sense we live in the already not yet of the kingdom we we taste now what we will have in fullness later anybody other than me had a mother that would would cook these cakes these beautiful cakes and she would let you lick the bowl right and so you you were tasting a man you you was experiencing what was become in fullness but you was getting a little taste now and so that's kind of what paul is speaking he is saying that we are we are glorified not in the fullness of everything that we're going to experience when we get to heaven but god allows us to kind of lick the bowl now is that good your glory you're glorified now we we we have jesus now see the reason why i'm preaching this because most times we stay in church and everything that we talk about we talk about in a future sense that upset me in church you know because everything they said in church when i was growing up you had to die to get it you had to die to get jesus and you had to die to experience jesus you had to die to experience the kingdom and and i was reading my bible and jesus said the kingdom is here and now all right and jesus says where wherever you are that's that's where i am and so i was saying why are they teaching that that everything is just in a future sense what do we get now and so as i began to study the scriptures i learned that jesus is now can i make an announcement he's here now the kingdom is now glory is now a lot of people say when i get to get to heaven man i'm a worship i'm a whoo i'm a tab heaven i'm a shot all over heaven and i begin to wonder what you waiting on let it be done on earth as it is in heaven paul says you go where jesus goes put up ephesians 2 and 6. i'm doing a little work here but i really want to set this foundation because i want you to understand some things you are already glorified let's look at ephesians two and six now read this with me let's go and have past tense raise us up what together and made us sit together where heavenly places where look up here right now you're sitting in olivet baptist church physically but spiritually you're sitting in heaven in christ jesus at the same time did you understand what i just said to you some of y'all were looking at me like a deer called in headlight you are there and you're here at the same time now does the bible say that you are seated in heavenly places in christ jesus right now in christ you you are seated in christ in heavenly places right now so so we've been singing a song forever if you get to heaven before i do save a seat for me now why does anybody need to save a seat for you if you're already there somebody needs to say you know see because you're already there you're seated in christ see so we are not natural beings who every now and then come to church and have a spiritual experience no we're spiritual beings who are going through natural experiences here on earth now can i teach you something are you ready whenever you have circumstances and situations in your life you got to remember i'm seated in heavenly places you understand what i'm saying so i got to start pulling stuff down [Music] there you go from my heavenly seat in christ jesus and i start bringing it down to my earthly situation see i would be depressed too if i was dealing with earthly situations and i had no other options but when i read this word it taught me that i got a heavenly seat in christ jesus so when i started going through natural earthly situations all i got to do is start bringing stuff that i see in my heavenly seat i see joy i see peace i see power i see authority and so i just bring that let it be done on earth as it is in heaven i just start bringing that down from heaven to my earth somebody shout this with me my heaven is about to invade my earth see if i teach you stuff like that ain't nobody gonna be able to handle you say it one more time say my heaven is about to invade my earth the next time somebody starts getting on your nerves on your job say you better leave me alone say my heaven is getting ready to invade my earth now watch this not only watch this are we able to go where jesus is or we seated together with him in heavenly places in christ jesus but also he goes where we go put up first corinthians 6 and 15. thank you whoever on those screens you're doing an incredible job first corinthians 6 and 15. i want you to see this because i just need to teach you i got to teach you all right first corinthians 6 and 15. look look at jesus he says know ye not that your bodies are the what members of christ he says then he says he says then he shall i then take the members of christ and make them the members of a what harley god forbid said this wednesday jesus says i moved in you you live in me but i also live in you he said so watch who you hook up with oh god i wish y'all come see i can preach to you today because i know you ain't got to go to work tomorrow so i don't need to play and they say anybody that you hook up with he says you you're trying to hook him up with me because i'm in you so anybody you bring over to the house you're trying to expose me to them so you bring a harlot a prostitute over to the house somebody you ain't supposed to be fooling around with jesus said then i got to deal with that spirit he said because i'm living in you ooh let me preach like i want to preach see have you ever been living with somebody or over somebody's house and they invited somebody to the house that you didn't want to deal with but you just had to deal with it because you was over they house that's what jesus is saying some of this stuff i don't want to deal with it he said but i'm staying at your house you just happen to be the house he's saying no ye not the chief of the temple give me the next verse thank you for your word lord he says what no you're not he says that he which is joined to a harlot is one body for two said that he shall be one flesh i wish i had time to teach that he said he said let me go and teach you he said whoever you lay down with it's never just physical he says you think it's just two bodies coming together he said but it's two souls coming together and it's two spirits coming together he says and when i see you all you become one he said that's really why you got to watch hooking up with so many people he said because now you got yourself scattered all over the city you have become one with too many people he says and then when you finally find the right one he says you can't commit to them because you got too many parts of yourself alone oh i wish i had next verse next verse next verse let's hurry up and get off that one but he that is joined unto the lord is one spirit god says i don't like sharon i want you all to myself next verse flee fornication break it down okay you told me to he said don't be trying to sit up there and act all spiritual you better run you sitting up there with your anointing all time i know i can take this i don't care if they playing luther need to need a baker i know i know i got the word and the holy ghost is on me he said you better run out of there you don't know what your flesh can handle you better get you some get up and go he says flee fornication every sin that a man does is without the body but he that committed fornication sinneth against his own body give me another verse okay thank you lord next verse says verse 19 uh-huh what know ye not that your body is the what of the what holy ghost which is in you which ye have of god and ye are not your own uh oh i'm 18 plus three i do what i want to not if you say jesus says your body is my temple it belongs to me he says so you don't get to do what you want to he said it belongs to the lord last verse look at verse number 20. he says for ye are bought with for what therefore what are you supposed to be doing with your body glorify god in your what body and in your spirit with your god somebody give god praise right there he says i bought and paid for your body so it belongs to me he said so every day you ought to get up looking for ways to give me glory with your body you don't get dressed for no man you don't get dressed for no woman you get dressed for me [Music] we can turn this thing out you ain't looking in a mirror seeing how you can get a man to look at you how you get a woman looking at you he says you looking in the mirror to see how you can give me glory can i get a witness here he's you ain't working out just as just to draw somebody's attention you working out to see can you be a vessel of honor for me if you you're working out to see if you can be an instrument that can be used in my hands he said when am i going to get some glory out of your body while we're here we might as well look at some first peter chapter number five and verse number one i think i'll just teach you today is that all right first peter five and one first peter five and one i like this first peter five and one the elders which are among you i exhort you who am also an elder and a witness of the what sufferings of christ and also a partaker of the world that shall be i think that's all i'm gonna need right there look up right here so you want to give him glory say glory you know what glory does it makes god shine you know what glory does it brings honor to god so guess what god would do how many you want to give god glory how many you want to make how many how many you want to show god all how many just guess what god will take you through to get glory god will take you through some suffering god will take you through some trials just to show his glory can i preach it like i feel it they were talking about a man in john 9 that was born blind they said who did sin the man or that his parents said jesus that ain't the right discussion jesus said he's just a candidate for my glory he's just a miracle waiting to happen jesus says i permitted all of this to happen to him just so i could stop by one day and heal him and open up his blinded eyes see some of you don't know that some of the things you have been going through it's just simply so god could get the glory because when you start going through stuff people begin to write you off people begin to talk about you people begin to dog you people never expect to see you again but when you walk up in here and you're looking good and you're smelling good and people say i thought she couldn't walk i thought she was in a wheelchair but you're still walking they have to stop and say her god is an incredible god his god is an awesome god and god gets the glory because people understand ain't no way you could have got you could have got through what you came to unless god brought you through so it ain't no time for you to be talking about how lucky you were how strong you are you got to stop there and say if it had not been for the lord that was on my side where would i be the only reason why he spared you is so he could get the glory the only reason why you made it through kovic and other folk didn't make it is so he could get the glory only reason why your lights are still alone and you still in your house and other folk lost their house is so he can get the glory so my question is are you willing to go through it if he can get the glory are you willing to go through the suffering are you willing to go through the trial as long as he can get help look at your neighbor and tell them god is going to get some glory out of this [Applause] can i interview me can i interview me about 10 folk in here is anybody in here your situation how am i both say this it shouldn't be i just got to use bad english it ain't supposed to be happening like it's happening it shouldn't be going like it's going even doctor said your situation both be looking a total different way but god stepped into your life [Applause] and you didn't go to jail you didn't lose the house who am i preaching to you sickness who who am i who am i assigned to preaching here you you didn't stay sick you didn't lose your job you didn't lose your mind that devil was betting that if you went through enough stuff you was gonna lose your mind you was gonna be walking around not even knowing your name but the devil is a liar and his mother-in-law is too in the midst of everything you went through god kept you so he could get the glory and can i tell you something the enemy was betting that if you went through enough stuff that you would come here today and you wouldn't even praise him he thought that you would just sit up in here and take a few notes and then go home but the devil is a liar there's somebody here if you don't do nothing else you got to open up your mouth and give him the praise and thank him you had a hard week you had a disappointing week but in the midst of it god says give me glory [Applause] and you know what i thought you know what i thought god i feel his presence you know what i thought i thought that if i made it successfully through one trial he would leave me alone but he takes me from glory to glory [Applause] and i used to think it was from one mountain top to the next mountain stop but no it's from one mountaintop through a valley then i got to get to the next mountain so i got to go from glory to glory it's some dips in between see it's the dips that keep me praising him see i can't just jump from one glory to the next glory i can't jump from one mountain to the next mountain i got to go for one trial there has to be a trial there got to be a storm there has to be a valley in the midst of a yay do i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will feel no evil because the lord is with me [Applause] now can i speak to you prophetically so why are you going through what you're going through now because he's setting you up for a greater glory why is the test so hard because there's getting ready to be a greater glory out of coming after this somebody say a greater glory is coming after this who you ought to be thinking now what kind of glory is coming after this if i had to go through all this can i hurry up and tell you something but before you shout too quick let me tell you about three things that i'll get you out of here it's not your glory first peter first peter 1 and 24 help me first peter 1 and 24. you're doing an excellent job up there first peter 1 and 24. see we must celebrate who we are and what we are but we must be clear that while we are we're glorified it is not our glory it ain't our glory oh that is for all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass the grass with us don't the grass we see it now it's fall time the leaves are falling off the trees and the grass is it's turning brown the flower thereof falleth away that's how man's glory is romans 3 and 23 says we we've all seen and fallen short of the glory of god see it's not our glory we are glorified with his glory see all we do is radiate his glory huh if you got any glory you got it from him he it's because see he it radiates it's because he's on the inside of you and it and it radiates and people see it on the outside oh did you get me when people look at you and say girl you it's something about you you're looking good and you you you got a glow you know what they talking about what they what they are seeing is the god inside of you overflowing thank you it's shining so great that they can see it on the outside god just told me can i preach to y'all for a minute over here can i talk y'all stop letting folk who didn't make your day mess up your day stop stop giving demons and devils all your attention stop walking around talking about who don't like you and who hard to deal with or they're not worth your worry stop scheduling them in your appointment book you you don't have time to think about devils you're too busy to think about what your enemy is playing and whatever they plan and ain't gonna work anyway because no weapon formed against you is able to prosper why spend time thinking about what ain't gonna prosper anyhow if god before you is more than the whole world against you you ain't got time to think about a devil you ain't got time to think about a demon you ain't got time to think about a witch nor a warlock because they already defeated you fighting the devil that's on death row [Applause] your focus is to give god glory look at look at me don't lose your shine you got to be able to look good when you're going through hell [Applause] whatever you do don't look like what you're going through i said whatever you do don't you look like what you're going through you got to learn how to pull it together can i preach to you for a minute you got to learn how to get it together walk into a place and folk ask you how you doing you remember the sister that had a son that died in the bible they asked her how she was doing she said it as well you didn't hear me i said it as well stop telling folk all your business the power of death and life is in your tongue stop speaking bills stop speaking sickness and when folk ask you how you doing it is well i'm not saying i ain't got no trouble but i i refuse to speak trouble i'm not saying i ain't got enemies but i'm not gonna give my enemies no credit it is well i'm speaking on credit and what i'm believing god to do in my life i'm calling those things to be as not as though they were i know my god is gonna fix it i know my god is gonna work it out and so i'm not acting like what i'm going through i'm looking like what he's about to do in my life there is a breakthrough somewhere around here it is well with my soul [Applause] we reflect his glory he does not reflect ours he's the source y'all kevin adams would have gave up a long time ago but it's this source in me will change when we we join with him it's it's it's glory to glory see my life is with christ it gets better every day anybody in here [Music] come on give god praise the biggest come on give him [Applause] give me give me a second corinthians 4 and 16. hallelujah i feel jesus in this place thank you lord for you on it for which causes we faint not but though our our man perish yet the inward man is renewed day by day oh i can't young boy was talking to me yesterday he said he said can you still dunk i said what you say to me he said can you dunk a basketball i say i can dunk a donut and some coffee or some milk i said i'm bad boy you give me a doughnut i could slam it in some coffee he's i remember he said my uncle got a picture you jumping all over the rim he's okay you don't i said outward man is perishing but the inward man every day i'm i'm thinking better i'm thinking differently my heart is right stuff i used to do i don't want to do no moments places i used to go i don't want to go no more when i i want to spend more time in the word i want to spend more time praying and i'm walking more with the lord you see thank you jesus see he's working on this inside if if you're not listen if you're not going forward something is wrong if you're going backwards we need to pray because you ought to be going from glory to glory it ought to be progressing he says as we behold his face we're changed into the very image stop letting folk put your past in your face stop letting folk who ain't perfect throw your imperfections up in your face you become what you look at most if you want to live a better life look at jesus [Applause] and as we behold his face we're changed into the very image as i keep looking at how he loved folk as i keep looking at how compassionate he was and how merciful he was it changes me into the very image i become more like him from glory to glory hallelujah let me say this to you and we go home greater glory though leads to great authority and power and we're through put sums eight and five and i want you to see this and we're going to pray psalms eight and five i love you all there's a fresh anointing being released in here how you finding them scriptures so fast it's glory up in that booth [Applause] before i can say it out of my mouth it's on there this is taught my you look at this for thou has made him a little lower than angels and has crowned him with what that's you that's me did you know that look i'm getting ready to kill the devil in here cause you got folk walking around telling you ain't nothing you ain't gonna be nothing you never was nothing and that word right there say god made you just a little lower than the angels and he crowned you see that we got to work on your mind you don't know what you've been crowned with you you that's why the devil always sent folk in your life talking crazy they're trying to get you to forget what god said about you you crowned with glory and um folk ought to be glad they got a seat next to you get get rid of all of this low self-esteem get rid of all of this depression and walking around and letting folk use you and manipulate you folk will take advantage of you as long as you don't know who you are people will abuse you people will spend up all your money lord woke me up yesterday at 6 30 in the morning you know what he said he said tell the people of god you're entering into a season where it's going to be every man for himself he said even your own family and your closest friend people won't care about you it'll be like the walking dead he said people will be knocking on your door breaking through your window just trying to get whatever they can get out of you and if you're a weak person if you don't know who you are people will take everything away from you and then walk away from you and find the next person you better have some confidence in who you are you better know that you've been crowned with glory and honor it stops today people using you it stops today people manipulating you it stops today people taking advantage of you it stops today people talking to you any kind of way somebody shot it stops today now he says you've been made a little lower than angel right last scripture first corinthians 6 i think it's five come on joe y'all get ready you get get ready to stand in just a moment i think it's first corinthians 6 and 5. you've been made a little lower than angels i think that it's close around now six and three i'm sorry look at it look at that now y'all read this aloud with me know ye nah that we shall i'm ready to go home now and he made you a little bit lower than angels and he crowned you with glory and honor but he said one day you're going to judge angels now listen to me look at me [Applause] [Music] you get that was that [Music] [Music] good i was talking to a young lady just a daughter of a pastor friend of mine and he had me praying on the phone with her she just became mrs i'm not going to tell you what state because you go look up beautiful young lady she's in a relationship where a guy [Music] was beating her taking all her money driving places and putting her out the car making her just walk from wherever such a beautiful young girl [Music] and her father couldn't reach her he's like why do you tolerate this [Music] she's like daddy because he loves me he's like baby that ain't love and he asked me to pray and talk to him i said if you could ever get a sneak preview of where god is about to take you [Music] you would dismiss some stuff from your life now because it can't fit where god is about to take you she said what do you mean i said i just wish god would just give you a snapshot of where he's about to take you so much of what you are connected to right now [Music] it won't even make sense to you where god is taking you she released some of that stuff and let it go we prayed and now she's missed whoever [Music] and when she got her what they call them for the girls what tiara tara [Music] the guy showed up [Music] hey [Music] hey what you doing after this she said what i've been doing the last three years focusing on the lord focusing on myself in school keeping myself together [Music] becoming miss you wanna go out and get a bite to eat that's okay i ain't got time for that [Music] there's certain things you shouldn't have time for you got to be too busy for you ought to be too busy to know what folks saying about you when you know what everybody's saying about you you ain't focused enough [Music] when you when you got time to listen to everything they saying about you you ain't busy enough because business folk ain't got time to stand there [Music] you took the bread he blessed it and break it said eat for this is my body say by his stripes i am healed let's eat [Music] took the cup and blessed it and poured the wine said drink ye all of it for that it's the blood of the new covenant also unless you do it do it in remembrance of me say because of the blood of jesus i'm saved i'm redeemed i am forgiven lord this we do in remembrance of thee let's drink together [Music] i love you i love each and every one of you listen if you're not saved a good day to be saved ask the lord to save you confess with your mouth believe in your heart that god has raised jesus from the dead that shall be saved we're saved by
