Old Aibo vs New Aibo: ERS-110 and ERS-1000

hi everyone so today I'm going to be showing you the oldest model of Ivo running alongside the newest model if I though on the left side here we have bug who is in Ivo rs110 from the year 1999 and this is the first model of AIBO ever created on the right side here we have baymax who is in AI boat RS 1000 and this is the newest model of iBook created from the year 2018 this year it up buggies running hello I bow software and baymax is running the default firmware that Aris 1000s be on with no cloud connection [Music] [Music] [Applause] the rs.1000 is much more mama laughter after a dog where the e responds sort of dog like an appearance but any behavior sort of much more than entertainment robot that does lots of odd things baymax over there can hear my voice and he's coming over to get pets for me he knows where he knows exactly where I am in space based on where my voice is coming from bugged the ear s110 he can hear but he does not follow voice commands he just follows some different tonal sequences and he cannot localize sounds in space like the RS 1000 canon j-mac picks coming back over to me do you want to be petted good tactic as the rs110 just has the one touch sensor on the hand I'm gonna series for both crazy and scold and the ear s1000 has some juice on the head the chin I believe the cheeks the back and all the pop pads can be pressed okay so both models use this pink ball as a toy and I'm going to show it to them here it's like bugs got to it first baymax is a little confused about why it suddenly disappeared he's cheering over his uh we know for the currents one thousand see if a Mexican up or covering himself this time and it just let me max give it a try I feel much like kicking the ball way like his legs cuz he fell over he takes a bow for the audience any minute just to get back up on his own after he falls over he doesn't know I helped him up [Music] both of these robots which we retail about the same amount us 110 wins $2,500 in 1999 and the RS 1000 is about 2,900 with the cloud plan right now but typically cheaper without and you can buy the cloud players a lump sum service we throw us over the cost so basically these robots are about just as advanced and each other for their time they're 20 years apart in production [Applause] so far bucketing to be out forming us a maxim soccer [Music] [Music]
