Officer Stops Truck Doing 116MPH

no no just keep right there for a second all right yep what's going on today just making home from work buddy making it home from work yeah okay about 116 a little too fast to make it home from work don't you think hey guys welcome back to the channel the video i have for today is going to be an incident where an officer pulls a guy over driving a truck that was doing 116 miles an hour this video is probably going to be a little bit longer than what you might expect for a simple traffic stop ticket i tried to cut as much of the dead space out as i could to shorten it up a bit but both these gentlemen are pretty chatty and i tried to leave as much of dialogue between the officers and the citizens in as possible so i hope you enjoy this video i hope you learned something and i'll talk to i was yeah i'm just driving speed i appreciate you thanks for coming i was i had the cruise set and was just riding all right you had control you had controls crawl at 113 on i didn't even i didn't even pay attention to what i said i just smacked the buttons and was just going you were going i'll give you that if you wouldn't have pulled me over and you said i was going 113 i probably would have laughed at you well here i locked it 106. that was way back there at 161. really yeah you said you were on the other side yeah you know where 161 goes this way well you were over here in the other lanes i clocked you you were you passed me got in front of me i saw i locked you 106. well let it go and then i locked you again 106 when i got outside that wall and then i i got two two screens right here so that stays at 106 and this one continues to go like i said it's it's been a long [ __ ] day all right well i'd like to see you get home to your wife amy she's going to be awful mad at me well not just that you changed lanes didn't change you didn't use a turn signal you came across four lanes of traffic you act like you were the only one on the road you see my concern i see it okay no i do i fully get it i'm not all right i wasn't i'm not gonna i wasn't gonna argue it i wasn't gonna complain there wasn't [ __ ] i could do about it we're trying to run it's not working [Music] look at your eyes nope stay right there just look at your eyes for a second all right i'm like looking at you i just want you to look at my finger for a second all right i just want to take a look at you for a second right because because i smell alcohol i just want to make sure but i don't smell now while you're in the backseat of my truck i just smell in the truck i know you said you had a couple you take any uh prescription drugs or anything like that where contacts are glasses no okay all right follow again okay see right there what kind of farm you have down there uh we run about 2 500 acre crops and about 100 head of cattle six three clear wagon checking advice okay how far how where's home at how far away from here actual home yeah where are you staying at uh seven nine nine four okay however i need to stop at the vp and get a can of chew because i don't have no chew yeah yeah okay homes maybe a mile [Applause] just about done curiosity what's the what's the point in the seatbelt going towards the truck um so i can when you're if you're handcuffed it's either for me to latch you in and keep you and buckle it in it's up there it's a safety it's a state well it's on the side it goes from it so that i can take it easier off of here so i have so i don't have to get back to buckle me and so i don't have to well so i don't have to cross over you okay that makes sense i've i've never seen that it was kind of yeah just yes see where i put up reaching across yeah correct you know there's we've had we've been bit before but people you know trying to get yeah i don't know how a trooper didn't catch you i don't know where they were at because they're always out here on 270. all the way up 70 off of 13 to 270 and around i wasn't even sure [Music] is when i get to the point where i'm that tired yeah one thing and that's it well and that's dangerous especially when you're driving because you know you know it's just as bad as being impaired when you're that tired and not paying attention to what's going on around you i mean you went around a couple vehicles back there you didn't use a turn signal you're still at 100 and at that time 100 706 you slowed down a little bit then you sped right back up once you got into that number four lane you kind of kind of baffled me and touched me at 106. uh well i was you were you pulled away from me i then i had a guy pull out into that lane where you can go straight on 270. and so that made me go i had to wait till i cleared that lane to get over to come after you by that time you were already right at 100 and i was at like uh 70. so then after that it was all over with you so just done don't carry aussie how many guys was here when we stopped um because i wasn't paying attention there's two well another freeway guy and a dublin car okay because i i heard that i was trying to get you to try to catch up to you before 71. oh okay i was like wait a minute there was no flashing lights up until this point right i'm not going to put my lights on a mile behind you so you need to put your lights on slow down well am i in my experience really that's not what happens oh okay i say you're gonna put your lights on yeah it uh at 107 ish yes i don't know that that truck's got much more than that uh-huh she's not built for running yes sir um i'm recording go ahead you're recording i'm recording yeah i've got to stop Why was the truck speeding?

The driver owned up to his mistakes and the cop was understanding. From my understanding, anything 25+ over can send you directly to jail.
