stay here it'll be a disaster lion fish are great hunters they can eat a fish in a single gulp but there aren't any fish here to eat them and well they can have lots and lots of babies in a short amount of time oh I'll say so if those two lion fish stay here the coral reef will soon be full of lion fish and not much else exactly then we better get them back where they belong m [Music] just one have been measuring water temperatures for weeks they should tell us a lot about the weather out here even though they're underwater of course the temperature under the ocean tells us a lot about the weather up on the [Music] surface uh-oh the weather forecast doesn't look too good jumping jellyfish it says here there's a strong chance of water spouts up at the surface Captain according to the Octo floats water spouts could start forming at the surface any minute water spouts what a water spout well tunip a water spout is a tornado that forms over water they appear most commonly out here in the open ocean a tornado yeah don't worry me Hy it's only a bit of twisty old wind Shellington dashy gather up all the Octo floats and get out of there as fast as you can already on it captain we're around the master hurry before they sink good catch now for the floats oh no the wind must have blown them away dashy Shellington is everything all right five flats are lost on the surface and water spouts are starting to form in the area we're on our way quazi peso to the [Music] guts to find all the Octo floats we'll have to split up hi and it looks like we have some company then there's not a grandfather's pirate stew kelp is the main ingredient is everything all right out there the currents here are getting stronger Captain so the water's getting rougher then you and dashy should head back to the Octopod yes Captain I'll just investigate one more piece of kelp and look for baby snails before we go and I'll just take one more video all right boys someone's heading in our Direction they must be in the Octopod but where we'll search for them right away and since these little leafy sea dragons look exactly like kelp we'll need these OCT Googles set to camouflage mode we'll be able to see any living creature even if it Blends in perfectly with its surroundings Shellington you check the lab dashy you take the Sick Bay twe and I will search the launch bay Octonaut let's do this e followed back to the Octopod so the dad must be trapped in this one and it's taking him out to the Open Sea a leafy sea dragon can't survive out there there's no place to hide Captain we've got to go after him and fast quasi peso leafy sea dragons into the [Music] gup a leafy sea dragon can be tough to spot so remember set your octo goggles to camouflage mode I hope we're not too late to find Rivers just like this one it's made up of parts from different creatures a bill like a duck fur like a bear web paws like an utter claws like a cat a tail like a beaver and worst of all a sharp spiny Stinger like a giant bumblebee this ear sting is the work of the duck-faced river monster whatever it was that stung you serious how you feeling Shellington uh not too good Captain don't worry Shellington I'm sure I make you better I just need my medical bag Captain I must have dropped it it's out there with the dark River Monsters peso you stay in the Gap and look after Shellington as best you can quasi you and I are going out there to find peso's medical [Music] bag oh I almost forgot we'll find out who this egg belongs to and return it just as soon as we take care of Shellington good under control all by myself but lately I've been kind of busy with well let me show you he's right over here I wrapped him up in kelp so he wouldn't Drift Away everybody this is perrywinkle this is who I wanted you all to meet my new nephew look at him look how fuzzy he is is still just a baby so I spend most of my time feeding him cleaning him and teaching him how to find food once per is a little older he'll be able to dive down to eat red oins too as a matter of fact it's just about time for Perry's first diving lesson oh but I still have to catch up on my urchin duties Pearl why don't onto the beach at night to lay their eggs it's the only time they ever leave the water and this is the same Beach right now the eggs have been under the sand all this time and should be ready to hatch at any moment and we get to watch it happen I can't wait uh nothing's happening matey well one can never be exactly sure when the eggs will hatch it could be a few more minutes or a few more days days have patience everyone I'm sure it'll be well worth the [Music] wait was what is it are they attatching no it's the wave tracker a really big wave is in the area it's moving fast and it's hitting for the beach flppy flippers what about the eggs they'll be washed away choer won't they be safe buried under the sand sea turtle eggs are very sensitive if they get too wet they'll never hatch then we'd in a big Rocky Reef we're not alone there are a lot of hungry creatures out here and they' all like a piece of nippa hungry Predators aren't the only danger the ocean is made of salt water and Nipper is used to freshwater swamps without salt I thought alligators could swim in the ocean crocodiles can but alligators can't a Nipper is an alligator they're too different species crocodiles can get rid of the salt water they drink but alligators can't if alligators stay in salt water too long they get very very sick oh he's right I don't feel so good quasi get Nipper to the surface you must hold him water first how can we get nippa back to fresh water if we don't even know where they are actually there might be a way to solve both problems at once according to the map there are several freshwater springs on the ocean floor nearby fresh water in the ocean yes at these Springs fresh water bubbles up from the sea Flor and Rises to the surface we don't know where quasi is but we do know where the Springs are if we Mark each Spring by putting colored Tracer dieye in the water then quasi could see them from a distance and then all he has to do is take nippa to the nearest spring and keep him in the fresh waterer until we can rescue them EX exactly and the dye won't hurt any creatures living nearby nope these Tracer diey tablets are 100% creatures safe great idea Professor Octonauts to the guts dropping red green orange and yellow all the Tracer dies are in place face just look for the bubbles of colored water eat snacked out the oh not a moment too soon a first I see the red one that's matey the water just swept me away seahorses aren't very good swimmers we pretty much go where the water takes us you can come back to the Octopod and rest until the storm is over but we need to find Sunny the water pulled him away too and I'm really worried he's about to have our babies in that case we find him before he what did you say Sunny is about to give birth to our babies I only hope he's okay but Daddy's don't have babies moms do I mean I don't they not when you're a seahorse daddy seahorses carry babies in a special pouch until they're ready to be born well I'll be a sea Monkey's Uncle Janice On My Honor as an Octonaut we'll find sunny and make sure he's safe and sound Barnacles to Shellington and dashy here Captain go ahead Captain we need to find out which way the storm is headed and fast because a seahorse has been swept along with it ah sir leave it to us got it Captain the storm is moving over the reef and then past some big rock for Missions we'll send you a map of
