Nova Prime | THE FORGOTTEN NUKE FRAME | Steel Path | Terrify Build

hello everybody my name is Kai and welcome back to Warframe Nova is one of the most versatile frames in the entire game with an incredible amount of build variety and different use cases the specific build for today though is tapping into one of her lesser used builds and pushing it to its absolute maximum Nova's second ability anti-matter drop has been a largely overlooked ability in the nuke space of most warframes and doesn't see a lot of usage as Nova is already a stellar frame without it it actually has some of the highest capabilities for raw damage in the entire game though that has not even shown in game as you will come to see later before that though let's quickly cover its base functionality casting AMD will have Nova Korea in orb that will float throughout the air and its path can be guided by your reticle on contact with either an enemy or a surface the drop Will latch on and after a short delay it will explode dealing radiation damage before the drop has exploded you can damage it with your own weapons to increase the damage of the ensuing explosion the amount of damage you can deal is capped to 25 000 which means a disability should have a hard limit on its damage of 200k because the drop Will multiply all damage dealt to it by 8 before exploding for some reason though in a semi-recent update this was actually changed and the multiplier now scales off of strength with higher strength giving you a larger multiplier interestingly enough too the AMD is coded as a weapon which gives way to the old strategy people would use for AMD nuking with the mutilist quanta I do not have a quanta to Showcase this but the orbs shot out of quanta's all fire will allow the drop to deal crits and also give it a bonus 500 electricity damage this Synergy is no longer needed as what the armor strip changes in Veil breaker necros's helmetability terrify will serve incredibly well for a large AOE armor strip to allow easy nuking of all enemies so let's take a look at our Nova build why don't we for a full strip with terrify in one cast we need 167 strength malt augmented and umbrella intensify will give us the strike needed for this but it does mean that near the start of a mission you will need to double cast terrify for a full strip but going higher than 167 also has other benefits for our main two abilities a higher strength value increases the number of targets that can be affected in one cast for terrify and for AMD the damage cap multiplier will also increase interestingly amd's range is capped at 15 meters being unaffected by higher or even negative range values but it does affect terrifies range which is why we are sitting at 175 through stretch and auger reach 175 gives us 26 meters of AOE armor strip which not only makes them easier to kill but also crowd controls them as terrified enemies will run away from Nova if they weren't immediately killed by AMD the set bonus of auger reach combined with two more auger mods on your secondary and briefest fight in your aura gives you a 270 energy to Shield conversion rate allowing you to fully Shield gate in a single cast of terrify at 160 efficiency which is achieved with fleeting expertise the rotation for this nuke strike involves casting two very expensive abilities back to back every couple of seconds so high efficiency is practically needed alongside Arcane energize the augment for AMD also fits in nicely here as it creates an aura around the drop that will absorb all enemy bullets into it which does contribute to the 25 000 damage cap but we hit that very easily with our weapon of choice which I will cover soon its main use is for safety as while nearby your drop enemy bullets will not hit you and prevent the need for excessive casting for shield gating Roland guard comes in for the iframes which helps with problematic eximus units or acolytes and also cleanses status effects as well equilibrium comes in for the energy to health conversion to keep us topped off as again this is a very spammy build with a high degree of inconsistency if depending on Just Energy orbs make sure you have synth fiber equipped on your companion as well so you can pick up Health orbs at Max HP finally touching back on the fact that AMD is coded as a weapon we actually make use of vigorous swap which at Max rank would give you an extra 165 base damage a huge boost for AMD to consistently keep this buff active and not have to do a lot of weapon swapping we are using a melee as our AMD primer as quick meleeing will actually trigger the vigorous swap buff and then quickly tapping ads again will allow you to reprocket again when quick mailing as you have probably seen the Redeemer Prime is our choice of melee but the vast block and normal Redeemer will also function just fine as the only purpose of this melee is to hit the 25 000 damage cap for AMD these stance is actually very important here as high noon's quick neutral melee will fire the gun blade twice incredibly quickly and since you cannot crit on the drop we build for as much raw damage and attack speed as possible obviously swap out normal Fury for primed Fury if you have it there are other alternatives for a quick AMD priming like the pandero or the tenant detron but a melee is best for it as you can keep a vigorous swap very easily while also not requiring you to aim as much especially because the augment creates a bullet attractor around the AMD that is going to be the build for today everyone a quick reminder that I do have a patreon where content like this Nova Video
