Noita | Final Boss and All Endings Guide (Major Spoilers!)

today we're going to talk about the multiple endings of noita and everything that is required to achieve them i'll not only be covering the endings themselves but everything regarding new game plus loops as well as the ever strengthening of the final boss so it should go without saying that this entire video is spoiler territory and really meant for those of you out there who've already finished the game at least once and are looking for a video resource with all of this information in one place or those of you who are curious and don't care about the spoilers with that out of the way let's get started part one the boss first of all thank you to ron clee for doing the initial research into this during the course of your endeavors to achieve the multiple endings of this game you'll no doubt run across this cute little guy right here three eyes or comey while it's not currently necessary to fight it at all for the sake of knowledge this first part will detail the buffs the boss obtains as you obtain more orbs and if you want to achieve all endings you'll definitely be obtaining a lot of orbs in addition to the specific buffs the boss obtains each orb also buffs its primary attacks and hp at zero orbs the boss shoots bouncing fireballs summons one minion shoots a spread of pink projectiles summons an explosive attack and has a normal energy shield and no resistances meaning it's pretty squishy and can be quickly defeated by simply freezing and kicking it [Music] at one orb its shield gets upgraded to a projectile gravity field of sorts in which your projectiles are captured and fired back at you if you're not careful at two orbs the boss adds to its arsenal a series of homing electrical projectiles that if you're not electrically immune will stun you making you temporarily defenseless to follow-up attacks at three orbs comey gains basic resistances to the main damage types and immunities such as fire electricity and immunity to being frozen so you can no longer freeze melee it for a quick kill but acid is still extremely effective that is until four orbs when colney gains a bit of resistance to it at five orbs it becomes a bit more resistant to melee attacks like tentacles and at seven orbs it becomes completely immune to acid so no more 11 orb speed runs using acid to insta-kill it which i think is a really good change its most dangerous attack comes at 11 orbs when it starts to shoot slow-moving polymorph shots at you get hit by one of these and your run is almost guaranteed to end from 12 to 16 orbs comey gains vulnerabilities to certain magical liquids at 12 poly 13 chaotic poly 14 teleportation 15 acceleration and 16 flamoxium that means you can actually deal quite a bit of damage to the boss with these liquids just look at this gif by latali thank you latali for doing the testing on this by the way finally at 30 orbs you can no longer one one-shot it with touch of spells since it becomes completely immune to them which is a really good change because back before 1.0 when i did my quote-unquote everything run that's exactly what i did and it felt really cheaty to be able to do that part two the endings so you're probably already aware of the first ending basically after passing three eyes you selfishly steal the sampo to try to complete the work yourself you succeed in creating gold but at the cost of all life including your own because you didn't read the manual what is the manual the orbs of true knowledge acquiring certain amounts of orbs will result in different endings but not by completing the work yourself you have to selflessly struggle back up to the surface where at the mountain altar you return the sampo to the gods since we'll need to collect orbs for these endings let's take a quick look at this world map showing all of the orb locations in new game starting from the left we have one in the frozen vault at the bottom of the snow chasm in the main fungal cavern in the magical temple in the center of hell at the mountain altar itself beneath the lava lake past the lava lake now guarded by cazzy the chasm boss on top of the pyramid beneath the pyramid in the sand cave and deep underground in the wizard's den for the next ending with the sampo and anywhere between 0 and 4 orbs you achieve the toxic gold ending which is to say whoops you didn't read enough of the manual so the world is now composed of poisonous toxic gold good job if you have toxic immunity then this won't kill you so you'll have to find another way to die cursed rock aoe damage is usually the best way now with anywhere between 5 and ten orbs you'll trigger new game plus one you'll retain your wands items perks and health the world will be regenerated with more randomization in the biomes enemies will have more health attack more rapidly and will drop more gold and most of the orbs will be more difficult to find latali made this very very nice map showing the general spawn locations of the orb rooms in new game plus and if you plan on achieving the ultimate ending trust me you're going to want to memorize this the only two orbs not outlined on this map are the two easy ones at the mountain altar and on top of the pyramid you may continue to loop new game pluses up to a max of new game plus 28 because each new game cycle requires one more minimum orb to trigger as shown here and there are currently a max of 33 obtainable orbs in the new game plus world so why does new game plus 7 require 12 orbs instead of 11 and why not new game plus 29 requiring 33 orbs because both 11 and 33 orbs trigger unique endings the first with 11 orbs exactly is the pure gold ending congratulations the gods are impressed and have gifted you a world of gold unfortunately there's not much else at least you're rich again as with the toxic gold ending you can kill yourself in cursed rock areas to end the run and see your stats speaking of the toxic gold ending if you try to end the run with 12 or more orbs before new game plus 7 you'll also trigger that ending and now for the ultimate ending prior to 1.0 several of us crazy individuals in the community decided to do 33 orb runs just because we could nala liked this idea so much that they actually incorporated it into the game as an official ending perhaps the true ending and along with this true ending comes a reward but we're getting ahead of ourselves here because i wouldn't even dream of doing this without killing the boss here's the wand i used to do it this was back before spells to power was added so this could be done way more efficiently and fps friendly now special thanks to gokidev for sharing with us all this crazy high-end efficient wand sorcery anyway now let's just take down a 33 orb boss with over a trillion hp in one shot no big deal oh hi gordon all right i block the lava flow just in case which is great you'll see why soon drink some berserkium for extra damage because why not and fire look at those numbers look at those gigantic numbers big beautiful damage numbers the recoil from the wand pushed me back onto the lava rock for a front row seat which is perfect because we actually get to see those numbers just devour the boss and i'm far enough away that i don't get hit by any of it myself since just one of those tiny particles there is more than enough to kill me immediately just look at that health bar sure i can't even move right now but i don't need to and it's done in a few moments when i was able to move again i made my way up to the mountain altar for the long desired conclusion with all 33 orbs of true knowledge i turned to the sampo over to the gods and day and night passed before my eyes [Music] the world has been restored and everyone is much happier the orbs were no longer obtainable because i had already obtained true knowledge there was peace in the world so after that long adventure it was time to finally settle down with my trusty hound maple to live out an existence of quiet tranquility yet before long something stirred in my heart i had to be sure was it truly the end or just another type of beginning [Music] [Music] anyway after the credits roll start a new game and then bask in the glory that is amulet gang for completing a 33 orb run you are awarded with a permanent change to your player character's appearance a golden amulet for you to proudly I was just going to ask you for a map of NG+ Orb locations and this video drops the same day! For some reason the lower right sand caves aren't showing up on my NG+ map, makes digging such a chore.
