NOAH'S 1ST BIRTHDAY VLOG

hello everybody welcome back to my vlogging channel my vlogging channel my channel in general and today i'm hitting you with a vlog which is very exciting because i haven't done a vlog in a while and it's a very exciting vlog because this is gonna be noah's like a first birthday vlog um so it's friday the 14th i think today tomorrow we've got noah's party then his birthday's on monday the 17th so obviously because it's a monday we can have a party on his birthday oh oh fallen so i just thought i quickly hop on here because i'm getting all the decorations ready this is my current situation um we were very very kindly gifted some bits for his birthday like presents and um decorations so i'll show you the decorations in a second they're from gingerrae which is insane because me and corn have used gingerey for all the other occasions that we've done anyway so his gender reveal baby shower my birthday here but his birthday we all used ginger a so yeah so fun that they're sending us some bits out for us to use so i'm gonna get everything and i'll show you what we've got to work with and i have got some other bits from other companies too um but yeah i'm quite excited actually the weather's not gonna be great but it's okay i'd rather that and then it'd be too too hot because when it's really really hot like it's been the past like week or so i can't really do anything with noah because it's too hot for him to be outside so it's gonna be a bit better for his birthday tomorrow for it to be cooler my mom's in the kitchen making his birthday cake we've got a hot air balloon theme which actually that reminds me i'll show you his little outfits i will try and tell you where everything i've got is from throughout this video just in case you've got any questions so i ordered this this wasn't gifted i ordered this myself i don't know if you can see there we go it's just this little vest long sleeve vest with the hot air balloon on saying first birthday the noah's name is on the collar this is from a brand on instagram called mason and mason i'll put that instagram actually i'll try and put everything in the description box down below if i remember um and then i also got this set because obviously i want one for his birthday and one for his party or even so two outfits for his birthday because he's never always in the same outfit throughout the whole day because he gets very messy so and they're white so a bit risky but then we've got this little one as well which just says his name and it's just a little shorts and t-shirt set which is so cute i love them so much that's the first part we are actually at my mum's because we're gonna be having my mom she's just got a bigger garden and a much better layout than we do i could not imagine how many people would fit in like how many people coming here to fit in our house we haven't got a very big house so let me get all the bit so all the balloons down here are to go on this balloon art that is from gingerie so i picked blue like i said the theme is hot air balloon so kind of like the blue for sky and stuff like that so yeah i really really like this i'm excited for this to be part of like his backdrop i suppose for his photos i suppose um so yeah i really really like this super cute and then we've got this fringe curtain again blue these decorations which i think are so cute i love them i'm gonna try and do them today actually um i'm gonna try and do most of this stuff today buying places for everything today because i don't want to be like brushing and stressing tomorrow um but also we have the food to start out tomorrow so if we get the decorations done today that would be great we also got this which is a little starry backdrop which is so cute all this stuff is just so nice i'm really excited to be able to use it all this is a little cake topper that says hey baby hey baby um this won't be going on our main cake because mum's making that and it's going to have a hot air balloon on the top so maybe we can use this on his actual birthday on monday this little set which is super cute um this will probably hmm i think i'll save this for his birthday or monday um because obviously there's one today um and then it has the little party hat the balloons the garland and then the one today which is so cute and obviously this is actually called the cake smash kit because if you're getting those photos done which i know are quite common for first birthdays um then you can just use this and it's all there for you oh and then they were kind enough to send over two different doughnut balls i think i'm gonna use this one because it's a little bit smaller i don't think i need all these donuts but i feel like this might be a good one to save for a party or maybe even my wedding um so yeah i really really like them and i love a good donut war i just think they're super cute i have one of my um baby shower i think which i'm pretty sure was from ginger as well it's like a rainbow and yeah just super cute so they're all the bits from gingery i believe oh and then they sent out a number one candle for his cake which will go i've actually got two of these so i use one on saturday and then i use the other one on his birthday um and then other decoration wise i got most of them from amazon or etsy i think mostly amazon so i got these hot air balloon lights if you can see which are going to be super cute so i'm going to keep them for noah's bedroom anyway because actually his bedroom's got like hot air balloon theme as well i just think it's so cute um we've got these decorations which are like what are they called like not lanterns but they kind of like become 3d i suppose so i've got a few of them to hang about i got these to go in the cakes so again just little air balloons also have some biscuits that have been made from elle's little bakery now i've used her for my baby shower i use them for the bridesmaid biscuits and yeah she's so good she's so lovely so um again they weren't gifted i paid for them they're at home so i'm gonna be picking them up in a minute connor's just getting like all the barbecue food right now and then we have this bunting which again was from amazon which i need to set up but it just looks like this it comes on a ribbon and then we've got this little party hat how cute is that this one was from etsy though yeah i put this one on the other day and it just looked so cute so there are the decorations the main thing i need to definitely get them today is the balloon arch because i know that probably is going to take me the longest see i'm going to get on and do that whilst connor's out getting some more food bits we had an as the order pick we picked up an house to order this morning um what else my brother's coming home this afternoon and yeah i think other than that we're pretty much oh well we're going to go back and get chai later because we're going to be staying here this weekend so chad's going to come with us he's going to have his first little trip um i'm gonna set up this teepee that i've got i'll show you in a second that was kind of gifted from natural baby shower i do have some more like presents and stuff to show you that was kind of gifted i definitely want to show you guys because they're not like massive brands i feel like they're really good to appreciate show you where you can get some nice gifts from so this like i said is from natural baby shower and it's just i'm not gonna be able to show you properly there you go you can see it's just like a linen teepee and i'm very excited about it super cute so i'm going to get on do a balloon arch probably watch some youtube or some friends probably friends actually and get my jobs done so this is the update on the balloon arch i need to pop i did it just need to pop back home and get some more bits get the cat get the cat tries here now and so is noah causing chaos on you baby yeah look at your hair look at your hair are you a little poser you're a little poser [Music] where you go get it look at your feet there's the balloon arch you have to peel that yeah perfect so i just did these cakes decorated them super cute this is the main cake just don't use the sort now obviously but yeah cute so these are the hot air balloons for the cake i've just painted them mum did the rest was it modelling icing fondant i think there's the clouds just salt yeah there's the hot air balloon in the basket and just organizing everything to be honest it's all a bit of a mess [Music] i want you to [Music] we got everything do you feel that we got something strong good morning this is the cake so far it doesn't look so good look at the little bird that's going in the hot air balloon which is here well she's got lots of sorting out to do today which is great because the weather's rubbish right started doing the platter bits sweet i'm gonna get a little bit more just a few more sweets just to go on here because they actually got eaten yesterday as well so yeah we've got them all the brownies caramel slices and then this is what the cake's looking like so far um we've just got the balloon bits but it looks so good isn't it um the balloon arches down here the weather is horrendous as usual and yeah we've got lots of sorting out today but we and conor are going to go pop home we're going to leave chai at home today um i'm going to go and get some last bits let's go right update we've been to tesco got some more sweets done these done my little donut walls treat yourself cake little monkey there's a little monkey yeah there is you're the best baby ever ah say hello everybody i'm gonna be a big boy i can't reach it is that better yeah oh careful what are you doing one of our friends got this for him for his birthday how cute is it are you giving him a kiss give him a kiss oh that's so lovely say hi thomas seems so vertical i think she's made the candy [Music] a picture of you you're standing by that window playing your guitar and if i close my eyes i can almost hear a song a picture [Music] and i remember every you day upon your face [Music] is all night and when morning came we make breakfast in bed [Music] is good evening guys my this is literally last night's makeup and obviously i slept on this side so my scar is still right on this side but this side is just not the one let's put my glasses back on this is like this is a face you would confess is everywhere charles just popped a balloon it had confetti in it [Applause] we're not going to be able to clear up till tomorrow so i was asleep but um anyway chris you can't believe i just screamed then this is a face of someone that's hungover and this is also a face that's someone that doesn't drink i just literally didn't take my makeup off last night i was so tired i had a nap on the sofa today not the one i'm just not about late nights you know anyways so i didn't really get much footage of the party yesterday but the main thing i wanted to vlog this weekend and i will go through all the decorations and stuff as well with you guys and i have also got um presents to show you and i'll tell you because i think it's really nice to have some ideas of what to get your babies for a first birthday because it is quite difficult um so we're just about we've just had a curry um our friends popped around for a curry which was really nice always a good time having a curry um and we're gonna do the wrapping for his presents and just like finish sorting it up here we've got a happy birthday sign and stuff so yeah this is really weird that i'm prepping for my child's birthday like what ah this is so fun i'm so excited i'm gonna put on below deck because of mine and conor's favorite um but yeah i had a really nice day yesterday it was lovely and yeah it just was quite late night because for some reason parties with our friendship group seem to go from zero to 100. and honestly i actually generally am like how do i stay sober and everyone else is just like on another level i do not know how i like keep up but i'm always the one that was like i need to go to bed i'm tired i'm gonna put on below deck because if you haven't started watching below deck yet you need to watch it i think that's like two seasons on netflix which is pretty standard but on hey you they have loads of seasons so yeah um i'm just gonna get sorted now i blog some bits like i said why is that oh it's the fan so why is that curtain moving um and i'll show you what we've got for what right so i'm going to show you a few gifts gifts gifts gifts gifts gifts few gifts a few gifts gifts i think that right yeah a few gifts gifts a few presents that we've got for noah um we were very very kindly gifted pretty much all of his quite a few of his presents were actually really kindly gifted um we have ordered him a tricycle which has been sent out by a lovely company too but um once that arrives i'll show you that because i've had so many good recommendations about them so yeah this we actually got here ourselves and it's so cute i knew i wanted to get in one of these because i just knew he was going to love it and i'm pretty sure one of our friends has got him a little ladybug that's kind of similar to this which is so cute to be honest our friends have smashed his presents like they've done so well they're so generous i also got no of that teddy there um it just has his name on his foot it's from my first years but um yes just sat there for the moment the only thing is it's a little bit bigger bigger than i thought it was going to be i want to get him one that he can just have and that was just a little bit too big so i think i might just get an other one so um you would have seen miss thomas um connor's friend james bought that for him and he loves it so if you've got a little boy um or even a little girl because milo loved this as well um that loves thomas or anything they were spending ages playing with it because it comes with like lego blocks and you can stick it on the train and put them in there he spent hours doing that um so yeah i then also got on this little play-doh set because he seems to pick up and eat every single thing that he plays with so i just thought maybe we can make it into something fun i'm pretty sure you can eat play-doh i mean like i'm not gonna make him eat it but like it wouldn't be a big issue is that correct i'm not sure to be honest this looks quite fun for me as well um i actually also got a few little bits from zara nothing much nothing too special just some little pieces so i got him this little jumpsuit which just said what oh my god i can't no i can't charlie get him out how many more of them balloons is there can you come what we can't have the balloons in here tonight i'll just take them upstairs anyway it says nice and cute on here christ's sake i don't know if you can see um yeah that was really cute and that was 15 oh that's euros 15 euros and then i got him in this little matching set because i love him in a little i mean i love trackie set so i've got another one it just says love on it it has matching joggers which i thought was super cute so i need to wrap up them conor got him the new liverpool kit and we went and got his name on the back with the number one for his first birthday just so cute isn't it so cute oh look this is like a velcro oh it's not it's poppers it looks like velcro and then we also got him this i know you need to wrap that yeah i do that's supposed to oh yeah it's cute um because we take him swimming and it would be quite cool too should we take him throwing on tuesday in this i think we should take him to win this week and we'll try his new best the smallest slices that they had was one to two years so hopefully it's all right but be nice just to have him like balancing so now moving on to the bits that were gifted um the teepee that i had in the vlog or if i didn't our inside picture was also gifted from natural baby shower um they also sent over this like rainbow these just remind me of being in like the places that pop out to me was the doctors the bank always had these i'd always play with them and noah likes like loves things like this and obviously these don't come off so perfect i also got him this tony's box thing which you can get different characters from um this character plays children's songs so you just put the character in the top and it plays it as if it's like a speaker i hadn't actually heard of these and then i saw an advert on the tv literally a minute ago um but again yeah this was from natural baby shower i'll let you know tomorrow open it and we can see what it does properly and then we have this big wooden kitchen which i've been dying to get for now like one of these and again this was kindly gifted from natural baby shower oh my god it's so heavy colin's gonna put this together in a minute before him but yeah that is the cutest thing ever i think things like this um are so perfect because they last a while as well um and i was so like nosy with things he loves to like just potter about so i think this would be perfect and then we were also kindly gifted some bits from a company called little homes like i said i'll try and leave everything linked in the description box and i'll put their ads on the screen for you guys to check out um but to be fair they're all from like the same brand so little dutch are a really good brand for like lovely wooden toys i love wooden toys i just think they're so beautiful so we've got in this little walker that has those like um puzzle pieces in which again i think he's gonna love and i just think it's so cute all these colors are just so nice and then we got him this activity cube you can see that so it has all the different like components to it i think you'll really enjoy and then finally from little homes we've got this garage set which again i just think is so nice i love it all so thank you so so so so so much to the brands that have sent us bits for noah's birthday like honestly so good so good like we are so lucky to be able to it's just crazy like i'm so lucky and what is my life like madness so yeah thank you so much to all the brands like i said i'll try and leave all the information for you guys this wrapping paper is a piece of rabbit wrapping paper i don't know if you can see um and it's from paperchase so i've got two three meter rolls i'm hoping this will be enough um so yeah i'm going to get wrapping and then i'll show you when it's all done i suppose presents all wrapped i'm still building the kitchen just need to organize everything else and then we can go to bed right so here's this little area or decked out how cute look look at that little teddy happy first birthday and this little sign i think we've done a pretty good job to be honest hopefully it doesn't all fall down yeah he's gonna love it it's bigger than our kitchen good morning guys i'm trying to do um like a little video on the film outfit won't save um anyway as you can hear nowhere is just woken up it's ten to eight and he's just waking up
