How are you? Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy, I'm Vanjo Merano Today's episode will be a dessert dish and this is called No Steam Easy Flan No oven? No problem! Because this is very easy to make Shoutouts and questions will be at the end of this video so watch out! if you're ready, here are the ingredients for our recipe we'll use sugar for the caramel aside from sugar, we also need water. Mix them together and for the custard flan, we need evaporated milk. We can also use whole milk 2 eggs, and then sugar again this is for the custard ok? and this can contains all purpose cream or table cream we also need gelatin - colorless and flavorless, 1/2 oz. we also need water for the gelatin we also need ~tada! vanilla extract for fragrance this will make our custard flan fragrant. so get ready with the ingredients if you're ready, let's start! let's start by making caramel. Heat up a saucepan turn on heat once caramel is done, we have here 2 types of mold this is perfect for our custard later once ready, place the caramel in both molds then set aside while it's about to warm up, add the sugar this is granulated white sugar mix. I'll get something to mix this ok let's ge these so while warming up, the sugar dissolves and turns into caramel adjust heat t medium so we won't overdo i'm adding water so the sugar will dissolve faster. Add a bit of water mix well until sugar dissolves keep an eye on this ok? The sugar gets burnt easily if we don't mix it frequently if it smells like cotton candy, that's an indication that it starting to caramelize mix well and continue to caramelize. Adjust heat to low it's done, transfer the caramel in the molds while it's still in liquid form and warm here in both molds. There you go distribute. Also on this one caramel is done, so we'll add the flan later first thing to do in flan is get a mixing bowl and crack 2 eggs include both egg yolks and egg whites. Here goes the first then second egg once we have the eggs, let's beat until it's smooth using a wire whisk you may use electric mixer or you can do this as exercise. Bat eggs until smooth then add gradually the sugar once sugar is added, beat until it's well blended there you go, let's pour all of it once well blended, set aside next is heat up the milk before that, prepare the gelatin. Microwave 1/4 cup of water for 35 sec once water is hot, add in the powdered gelatin - unflavored, colorless 1/2 oz. then mix well let the powder dissolve in hot water let's get ready with our stove then add milk this is evaporated milk, like I said earlier warm the milk but don't boil get a tablespoon to scoop this while the milk is warm lessen th heat because we don't want to boil the milk be careful don't pour all the warm milk at once to avoid abruptly cooking the eggs, thus making it hard. That's an important reminder let's pour this gradually so you see clearly turn off stove it's good, we don't need to add more milk mix well. Then we'll put back the egg. Turn the heat on, adjust to low put the mixture it's tempered. This should turn out good while warming this, get ready with the other one here in our gulaman mixture. So what we need to do, gradually add in the mixture in the cooking pot, our gelatin mixture it's important to continuously mix this continue to cook until you see a bit of vapor but don't boil. This is the only cooking process here. We're almost done while you see the vapor, get and shake all purpose cream or table cream ok, it's ready for later turn off heat ok once heat is turned off, put back the cooked mixture in the bowl then, mix ok, once mixed. Add table cream these are the last ingredients. we don't cook table cream and ~tada the fragrant ingredient because this will help to cool down the mixture's temperature it's ready once mixed well, transfer to the caramel container scoop the mixture and transfer to the molds there you go let it settle pour all of it at this point the easy flan is ready. We need to solidify this cover the top with aluminum foil then cool it down then refrigerate overnight or until it totally solidifies. Once solid, we can serve it. See?
