all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the north more specifically niles michigan and it is officially that time of year it is haunt season and we're about to embark on our very first haunt of the 2020 haunt season a very interesting year and this should be a very interesting haunt season i've been invited out to the niles scream park this is a very very large very well respected haunted house out here in southern michigan and i'm very excited about checking this out i think we're going to do a tour first and then we will go through in full scare mode after that so please follow me so masks more specifically face covering i can see how that could be confusing because masks at a haunted attraction don't always mean face coverings but they're required at all times there's hand sanitizer stations that hand looks almost beyond sanitizing looks like it may be necrotizing all right so this is hooded and uh what explain to me what what this is well yeah you're right you have to be 18 years old you sign a waiver and then they take you in here they put a hood over your head so you cannot see anything and you hold on to this rope as you go through the attraction where all the actors in there will do random things to you oh my gosh like a sensory overload is you can't see any of it so you don't really know what's going on there's smells in there there's sounds there's touching and uh really freaky out so maybe like a a really a toned down version of mckamey manor yeah yeah it's a sesame street mechanic okay this is for adults only traction contains physical touching verbal taunting uneven flooring physical demanding positions strobe lights intense scenarios oh my gosh but i guess you can raise both your hands and be escorted out at any time okay we're gonna head into the main haunted house here see these witches and skulls there's a witch holding a severed head that she just freshly cut off of a person here we have uh looks like little red riding hood we got the uh big bad wolf bursting out of the door there i guess here's the woodsman that will kill the big bad wolf all right entering the mansion here and the sign says beware of everything all right into this library you can just see all those books all those cobwebs that book called how i shed my skin oh wow this library is huge oh wow this is like as many books as a real library i feel books fluttering above it says reading is fun to mental uh there's all these different doorways i got a big pirate ship right here oh school old uh diver suit there with a skull a couple punch bowls all right i got a little kitchen in here tell them oh there yeah oh there's a little micro michael myers from the rob zombie uh halloween movie see there's some zombies bursting bursting out of the floorboards there all right little doll house there this is sarah's room since now you're going to the high school from the movie um the the red spot i think this is where the sister had the spider squad yeah okay i'll run try to remember that one this is that like the dressing room oh yeah are the spiders all coming out of her face you know that in the movie they butcher shop here the rusty hook some skunk pelts human being butchered right there slot bucket right there there's the employee of the month aaron some frozen corpses in here the cornfield here you can see the guy hanging right there scarecrow he's that girl oh some little dolls here little circus area got a ferris wheel some clown heads it's a very colorful cough in there it's a clown inside it's actually a ball pit slash coffin all right so we're gonna check out the basement in here a guy who was a became a serial killer after his parents died and he lived in squalor so every room was one of his victims do not push jeez [Laughter] i do hear some animatronics uh what's this soul tar here is there an actor okay so whoa okay moving there's like a cage in the middle here was not expecting that skull bursting forth from this woman's stomach oh my god oh good spider [Applause] this guy gonna jump at me okay i don't think so i love these uh audrey tube plants here is that spider gonna jump at me oh yes it is all right so this is a egyptian curse themed haunts in here a little base camp oh god what was that it was a very loud burst of it's um a scare stick geez all right you're not gonna jump at me are you buddy are you okay we're good we're cool all right see you later oh there we go zombies eating a little meal right there [Music] oh god so much compressed air in here are some mummies i think we're headed into the the tomb here oh there's a mommy mommy holding her baby mommy oh god oh the treasure room and all this egyptian gold oh the ground is real sandy was it the arc arc of the covenant right there don't do that again we got cleopatra queen of the nile sitting up there all right so we are heading into the field of screams we got a few years back it was nice solid coffin right there all right into the cemetery here looks like batman's parents were uh buried out here got a castle here it's a dragon and some discarded human parts the headless horseman there oh walking under the wooded bridge covered bridge oh look at this got a little shack right here this guy's chilling out right there some hanging laundry and look at this a moonshine still it's a toxic waste covered skeleton got cinnabaldi sanitation [Music] some vintage computers here look at a farm here one giant chicken egg in there some sort of skeletal goat oh look at this we got a fun house he's got a different oddies shrunken head two-headed duck fiji mermaid and the thing looks kind of like a demonic wendy from the fast food chain little carnival midway here we have a man eating chicken and it is not a play on words it is literally just a giant chicken that is eating a man the bearded lady twins all that looks like they have passed on it says spidora alley the alligator oh that one's cute a casket with a very colorful skeletal clown octo boy an octopus for a face there's the bottom half of a woman and over here we have the top half cock-a-doodle-doo flying trapeze but there is our fiji mermaid there's a kissing booth i wonder who will be there to uh be giving out kisses for 69 cents she was there oh this is our kisser right here got a skeleton riding an airboat through the all swamp it's a voodoo shack right there got our voodoo man i got a bridge here over the swamp gosh oh there we go these are the tractors for the hayride they're super cool they have like bleacher seating so everyone's looking in the same direction gathering face-off is and was there are no rules so for those of you who were here last night ross and vicki went first and today death and i go second so welcome to the [ __ ] gathering i already see one problem before i move on with my little itinerary it this is a gathering of the crypt chairs are prohibited this is an energy thing we're getting ready to go into battle yeah get ready so our next guest [Music] in is come on joy this is good green bars [Applause] all right good job i know you're learning this is the greatest show on earth welcome to everybody [Applause] let the creatures out [Music] it is a dark and stormy night we're getting ready to experience the full force of this haunted attraction just a few notes this attraction they change the entire attraction every single year there's actually a chair they actually operate uh for charity and and raise money for various organizations around the area this haunted attraction has been in business for 46 years one of the oldest haunted attractions in the country but now it is time to face our fears and mask up let's the nights adventures begin oh that's creepy hello red riding hood grandma what big teeth you have james oh look how ominous the house looks [Music] everything much creepier as it gets [Music] darker oh i don't even know what that was oh loud gonging is very very frightening and annoying leave me alone i'm going in here elevator out of order now where are we going oh man just dropped slippery oh no [Music] no no press there ah leave me alone [Applause] oh my gosh [Music] oh don't want any toe chilly oh my god oh no no no no no no no no no oh let's get out of here that was scary ugh oh my gosh the floor dropped out oh vortex tunnel give us a chance to relax and reorientate ourselves within the vortex what even happens with the most record by the question oh hey there don't don't scare me okay [Music] come on uncalled for [Music] [Music] oh something's peeking at me that's moderately unsettling why do you have a day leave it alone all right headed into the cursed crusade now look at us believe in the curse i believe i believe that's the best thing ever oh it's so spooky another person [Music] [Applause] oh all right now we're unstuck okay thank you oh my gosh here they have a no scare zone no monsters are allowed so people can sit on these hay bales and the monsters are not allowed to terrorize or harass them all right getting ready to hop aboard the dark terror tory haunted hayride all right boarding the hay ride here came from the airwaves oh oh no no no no oh what was that throwing stuff many travelers on the road would hang their hats at the boarding house so they were so lucky [Music] that's a skeleton on the toilet oh he just peed on us welcome to the ghost town of trinity something of a living experience oh from the blinding spooky the wave of intensity rips to the building splattering produce and people everywhere oh shopping cart oh it's mount st [Music] helens for ages there was an elderly crooked woman hunched over a cauldron where smoke walks out excuse from the mouth of the cave [Music] [Music] presents the happiest dentist with the widest smile he's the only one laughing confined to a wheelchair after an accident this man has only a courtyard and a dozen or so windows to lawyer for entertainment all right heading out into the outdoor attraction field of screams [Music] don't scare me come on oh this clown won't leave me alone oh leave me alone it's really hard to find your way out of a maze when clowns are scaring you oh what a jerk [Music] jeez [Music] come on i guess that wasn't that scary oh look at this heading into the fun house oh look at that trippy light show [Music] your friend snuck up behind me that way okay [Music] oh come on clowns are tormenting me [Music] where are we [Music] i thought you were gone no okay gonna go in the compression lower body compression lower body compression that's safe no facial compression what was that man oh boogeyman boogeyman what are you doing oh very creepy what's in your sack you got oh you got toys for all the the good children oh let me let me look at your pack let me look let me know if you don't mind you got you got annabelle the doll in there some teddy bears cause it was a pleasure to meet you bogey man have a good night scaring people while they're eating corn dogs all right final maze of the evening will be going into the basement oh electricity is scary oh look at that [Music] oh what do you got oh [ __ ] no no no oh don't burn me oh my gosh [Music] oh [Music] jeez [Music] hey there we're friendly looking guy all right we'll be exiting through what is known as the bubble monster full monster oh spewing out bubbles oh so weird [Applause] my feet are infected with bubbles all right the bubble monster the poison apple shop right here some voodoo dolls shrunken heads and we got some framed tattoos [Music] mummified got all these different t-shirts and even a thong for uh the people who are inclined got some lego minifigs so check these out we got some of my favorite movies gremlins edward scissorhands oh very very cool there's the devil all right even with a mask they can still hear you scream it was an absolute joy to come out here to uh denial's scream park uh some to experience this uh this wonderful place um this is this is the beginning of halloween season this is the first haunt very excited you know i feel uh i feel like the haunt you know it feels pretty smoothly i feel like you know things were handled very safely and i think that halloween will go on i know that halloween will go on no nothing can stop halloween uh if you like see other haunts that
