here we are in Niagara Falls State Park the oldest state park in America and we're about to explore the Cave of the Winds an estimated 9 million people come and visit Niagara Falls USA each year and they're all really after one thing to feel the power of Niagara [Music] [Music] I think we're gonna go over in a barrel in a barrel yeah like we're scared so after you provide your time ticket and your first souvenir photo is taken it's time to go into our first interactive room so let's go broken down [Music] and they have like an example of what he used to have to look through big wooden fences and you'd have to kind of look through little people to see The Falls so if you actually come this way now that we're done with that let's head into the next room which is a video illustrating the history of Niagara Falls and how it became what it is today through the Innovative mind of Frederick Law Olmsted and how the world changed here with Nikola Tesla [Applause] [Music] that video was pretty cool well we have one Roar room one last stop before we get to the elevators and I think this is the room where we get ready so this last room is a great opportunity to change into some waterproof shoes or gear if you have them we're going to get wet you can't really touch a waterfall without getting wet right so that's what we're going to do here and then we're going to the elevators one of the great things about Niagara Falls is that when the sun shines against the Mist you get a rainbow almost every day so it's like 30 second ride to the bottom we're going down 175 feet 53 meters 17 stories once we get to the bottom you follow the left hand side of the tunnel I'm all hand tools dug out only in 1922 took them two and a half years and uh your ponchos at the tunnel it's also a guy from there had been a lot of people oh it's a little colder down here do you guys have fun yes oh there's a Stanley Cup yeah the false wow Patrick Kane I believe he was from Buffalo South Buffalo now we're here at the Cave of the Winds decks and one of the great things about the Cave of the Winds is it's not just a view of the falls you also get a great view of the river here you can see across the river there's the Canadian side and one of the earliest Canadian hydroelectric power plants over here as well they say about a hundred thousand gulls here along the Niagara River at any one time making it one of the most highly concentrated areas for seagulls in the world this is their land we're just visiting they say the ponchos for the Falls but I think it's for the seagulls poop if you know what I mean got him as you can see the legendary Maid of the Mist if you'd like to learn more about that we have a video where we explore the Maid of the Mist here so great this is the dry part ladies and gentlemen welcome to my office [Music] all right it's broken [Music] One More Death the hurricane [Music] alright folks well as you can see we just completed the Cave of the Winds and I think we have the evidence this is our favorite site in Niagara Falls unfortunately it's not just our favorite site many people like to come here thousands of people per day actually so one of the benefits of taking a guided tour is you can skip some of the lines and they get the tickets ahead of time for you if you're interested in this attraction or any other attraction in Niagara Falls you can visit explore niagara.com in the link below [Music] thank you [Music]
