New Zealand Today - Levin, the town with no name

this week on New Zealand today live in the Hamilton of Wellington there is it a great place the butt of many jokes don't know when I'll be back again hopefully never live it sucks for over a hundred years this area has been known as Laverne or title until the New Zealand Herald dropped an absolute bombshell neither name is recognized by the government it was a town with no name is it Laverne is it thai taco or something else entirely I went straight to the council to sort it out [ __ ] you guys maybe a big fuck-off truck please come down here and you mullet [ __ ] ruined my great masterpiece much like the mullet [ __ ] the council didn't want to talk to me so I turned to local Moldy who were absolutely fuming would it be okay if we couldn't live in Thai talk yeah I wouldn't have much problem cuz that's a little more non multi and multi so why not so I'm gonna be honest with you be Hardy this whole thing kind of only works if this car like a teach-in between all the groups and I'm kind of casting you in the pieces like the hostile moldy guy okay and right now you've been to kind of like likable and you're making too much sense right I'm trying to start like a war like a race war yeah so right right so I've got MEK spirited so I'm ready to just go whatever starts winning my race war was not going well so I went to the streets to find out what they wanted and if I'm lucky spark another race war where are we today wrong everyone knows it as a [ __ ] I thought it was the vent now what if I told you that Laverne is not an officially registered name yeah I wouldn't really cure a moldy name in the same father you burn and be good for love it where are we I'm chef I'm against that yeah yeah I mean is it yeah but what town are we in - no I don't want to know your address Luverne Luverne you know living in levin living de vida loca live in de vida love them I've never been on TV before but I've got looking on money back you must regret that heart no after speaking to locals I was shocked it's like they didn't think that Laverne was chess I couldn't figure it out what possibly could be good about Laverne what are the amazing features ocean check out well I'm here on the lake the last thing go swimming in it cuz you'll get a rash it's the best in New Zealand what makes it the best toilet what should I respect Benga respect bank well the adventure parks are got worm The Adventure Park this Park in the world I was amazed The Adventure Park was genuinely awesome the toilets were the best of New Zealand ice they had a Cobb & Co and New Zealand's first ever drive through a petrol station so much better than those other petrol station theatres carry the picture out by hand and fill up your car using a funnel but most importantly lavin hairs with great people shots at my clothes as well these people taught me a valuable lesson well it doesn't matter where you learn that as long as you love living where you live and I love living where I love maybe there was no controversy here maybe the problem wasn't the vermin maybe the problem was me being a judgemental jeffer [ __ ] it whatever it was it was time for me to announce the new name for the town there was a huge turnout and the locals were buzzing Andrew Andrew focus on the presentation mode count me down [Music] [Applause] toko took off we're keeping the same name we decided this place is great just the way it is no matter what you call it it doesn't matter what the official place there is what matters is that what's in your heart and what's in my heart is love also I don't have time to change the sign properly and I really wanna get the [ __ ] out of Laverne Guy Williams New Zealand today [Music]
