NEW ULTRA INSTINCT BUFF UPDATE! - Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC 17 Free Update

all right you guys welcome back to the channel here for some more Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC pack 17 free update content today we're going to be checking out the recently updated Ultra Instinct awoken skill for custom characters in my personal opinion I think this just received the best possible update for the ultra Instinct transformation because it no longer takes five key bars to transform leave it to me I think now currently Beast is the only transformation that utilizes the key bars but that's totally fine because as we all know Beast is very powerful it gets the additional powerups for key blast strikes combo shrinks we even get a whole new combo right for Ultra instincts uh in terms of damage that's all still the same again it just does not consume the five key bars I currently have seven so let's go ahead and set everything to normal and moment of truth let's go ahead and activate Ultra instinct [Music] look at that Ultra instinct is back let's go again I don't normally use ultra Instinct it's just not my preferred preference because I prefer the forms with the additional powerups but I think I now might use this but that's not the only thing remember before the update how whenever we throw out a keyi blast it would be soaring fist which don't get me wrong that was cool integrating supers into you know the basic gameplay mechanics but now we have the original keyi blast which means yes we can now key stun like crazy the UI Auto Doge which is obviously its main feature hence why we don't get the additional powerups plus the key stun mechanic yeah this is definitely a deadly combination for sure but we still have the soaring Fist and spirit pulse attacks into graded into the key blast but how do we necessarily go about that you're probably asking well you have to press in hold just for a short period of time to use soaring fist just like that so it's like you you you pretty much don't even have to hold it for that long as soon as you see the key effects you know that right there the energy the streaks whatever that is that's when we can let go of the inputs and use soaring fist so if you use it fast enough you can still do the knockback attacks wait let's go ahead and just deplete his star real quick just for this demonstration there it is so yeah it works wonders so we don't necessarily need the soaring fist Super Attack which I do have equipped if um you know we're using Ultra Instinct but don't get me wrong soaring fist it still has its perks the original Super like it does a little bit more damage uh so real quick let's set the health back to auto recovery and this is the damage of the keyi blast soaring fist you know the one that's integrated into the system yeah it does not do that much damage at all but for the super immense damage however it still has the same properties you know same features in a way after you use the key blast version you can still follow up afterwards and just continue with the different strings increasing the damage oh wait I kind of dropped it right there let's try it once more ah UI Goku is too great I probably should have picked a different character for today's showcase but again right there combo combos um obviously you don't have to break the opponent's stamina I'm just doing it because obviously UI Goku Dodges everything uh but to use Spirit pulse yeah that works normally just charge it for a longer duration of time and boom right there oh that's actually very cool looking Super Attack I don't necessarily use this that often but in my personal opinion I think soaring fist is just an overall better super than Spirit pulse right because of the follow-up potential uh spirit pulse is more of a combo finisher I guess you could say I mean can we link a different super afterwards no we can't even do that we still have the original Ultra Instinct properties so if we go ahead and guard and then press triangle we will utilize surging Spirits for the second mechanic I believe it's the counter so as soon as the opponent strikes we press the cross inputs and that's where we utilize Celestial whirlwinds the damage is insane I'm not entirely sure if that's been increased at all but it seems like it look at that look at that that's like more than a Super Attack that's more than soaring fist wait does it even take any key bars let's test that out for one time yeah it takes one key bar oh of course they can still evasive out of it thanks Goku for the demonstration I appreciate that but no more oh ah and the original feature you know the counter while we're transforming yeah that's still the same again the only changes would be the keyi blast cancellation and no longer takes five key bars to transform yall already know we have to try this out in the online realm um you guys probably noticed the quality difference as well maybe not but we are actually playing on the PlayStation 5 variation of the game you can tell by the PS5 inputs right there yeah it's it's a different day ever since the previous cut of the video yo this guy's too good he's too good for the very first match this always happen s it is what it is he has Max stamina he knows how to play the game and I'm probably not even going to utilize any of the ultra Instinct features which is totally fine hey I can now key cancel as well thanks to the power of ultra Instinct yeah Bardock Bardock please let me just demonstrate the power of UI for once yeah I think the net code has been improved just a tad bits I don't think it's anything too major but looks pretty smooth if you ask me it's over GG's oh he dropped it wait perhaps I can still transform and let's go I'm going to at least make an attempt to activate Ultra Instinct I'm pretty sure we have to land is down to break and then do a knock back and then transform something similar to the Beast awoken skill it is what it is hey we already have about three key bars Oh I thought I was going to get him right there all right so he does do the back hits have to keep that in mind ooh easy damage I respect that something that I would pretty much do like that right oh and we got the evasive in his DNA is gone let's go evasive go on I'll let you just because I still need five key bars I shouldn't have used that soaring fist but it is what it is I'm just going to transform I don't care oh we actually got the counter from the awoken I'll take it I'll take it let's go and Peep the key bar I still have all five oh oh I respect that I definitely do oh the weaves got watch out for the weaves oh I'm not sure if I got him or not I don't know what just happened right there it's like the Battle of ultra Instinct right yeah all right I guess that's a cool way to deplete his stab bar since it is like the Battle of UI oh got him um we have to be very Vigilant he's going to snap right here soon watch or use an evasive and yo we is evasive his evasive oh yep yep yep I knew he was going to do that it seems like that's his go-to damage the square triangle into Savage strike there it is once again I don't even think I utilized the key stun just yet s break oh yo he read that he read that one where you going oh oh you did limit burst all right all right I sees it I sees it yo UI weaves The Godly display oh oh that didn't do too much damage again the key blast variation yeah it doesn't it's not as strong as original soaring fist as I said in the first half of today's video oh my gosh I still have my Super Soul thank you Dragon Balls yo he has like the same exact skills that I have he's definitely going for the true Ultra Instinct build yo he's a true Master when it comes to key stuns though or key cancellations I I think he used it a lot more than me he's doing the proper showcase it's over man it's over a all right all right hey we're not winning the battles but we got the ultra instin Showcase in we still keep all five energy bars and we can now key key stun and key cancel and yeah I think UI is just an overall better transformation than what it was before I'm probably still going to be using other Transformations like blue evolved or beast perhaps but hey shout outs to all you guys thank you guys
