New Production And Field! | Survival Challenge | EP7 | FS22

foreign welcome back everyone this is the no man's land survival challenge series that I'm running in conjunction with chainsaw 100 and daguin doing their multiplayer series so we're now into February think in this episode we're going to be able to expand by another plot of land now originally I was thinking that 44 might be the place to go but 46 I know we have the road going through which probably a bit of a waste but I'll first feel to be ready to harvest will be our canola field here so once that's done I'm gonna take it up to the boundary and we can bring it out here to the road it will also give us access to all the rest of the the wood in this bit of forest so we can get that cleared out and because this area here is quite flat and right next to the road it's probably going to be a good place to put in some kind of wood production but first thing in this episode we should have some more pallets of flowers and mushrooms from overnight so we'll get those get those loaded up and we'll get them sold and then once that's done we'll need to refill the greenhouse you might even look at getting a bigger tanker so I can feel both greenhouses look in one go instead of making three trips it's taken at the moment and let's just see so we should have yes we've got five pallets in each and what I didn't realize until I watched an episode I think it was Doug winter has got these greenhouses you can actually pick these up so that's going to make loading a lot easier so I'll just do that I'll get all these loaded up and I'll see you up at the store okay so that's that loaded up we'll head up to the store and see how much money we'll make okay so that's nearly 40 500 so that's um it's always a good start to the game right so let's get back to the farm and we'll have a look and just make sure before I buy another plot of land that we're gonna make a right decision yeah so this would be the plot of land we're going to buy are potentially going to buy it's going to be either this one 46 or the other side with 44. but there's quite a lot of flat area so I can make like one huge field very few trees to take out Oracle probably make sort of in the bit below these trees you can make a field down there and then make a slightly smaller one in this side of it although we do have these rocks to negotiate but what I'm possibly thinking is getting the Sawmill I think it's the one that chainsaw put in very early on usually the first or second episode and we could put the Sawmill just down to the left-hand side of this road and then it's really easy to get the trees over there so that's one option I think it's pretty much confirmed now that these smaller trees in the forest will not be growing I know a few of you have made comments suggesting that I honestly I don't know but I would have thought you know we started in August so so this is episode seven so seven months in I don't think they've grown so I think it's safe to assume that I can just remove them without really losing losing out too much but I'll just get these greenhouses topped up again with water and then we'll come back to purchasing a new bit of lamp I have to say I think these two greenhouses have saved us really given us that boost I noticed that that green in his episodes he placed two of each and I'm not sure if that isn't just a little bit cheaty I mean it's not in the rule so technically he's not cheating but it is a massive Advantage I mean if I was just to fill my entire plot if those greenhouses and just keep topped up with water you know it's like twenty thousand that that tap might still be open it's about twenty thousand dollars a day per Greenhouse so I know perhaps one of their wheels should be you can only have one of each type of production eventually I know that that's that's really why I only place one of each just because I thought it might be a scene is a bit cheaty I forgot it's this one I want to fill up I think someone else had suggested in the comments that you can buy an additional water tank for your greenhouses so I might look into that because it's certainly you know we're not even getting a full day of water a production from the water that we can put into them so I think that might be a good idea something to look into all right so we'll just fill up both greenhouses at the top and then whatever's left in the tanker will put into the Tomato Greenhouse oh getting a bit of understeer in the snow nice that's the mushroom the flowers filled up and we've got 2 700 liters to put into the Tomato Greenhouse right so we'll just drop the pallet Forks off pick up the log Fork so I think the next job that we need to do is we'll be chopping down trees once we've bought our new plot of land yeah so these are our two options uh in fact let's just have a quick look see how our crops are doing so this is our canola field and I suspect if it's not in the last stage of growth it's the one before it so either next episode or the one after that we'll have our first harvest so I think I do think that 46 is the better option I hope you all agree so that's 85 000 so let's buy that [Music] all right excellent leaves us with fifteen thousand so let's make a start and I'm chopping down some trees we'll get them up to the sell point and see what we can make I'm going to leave the stumps fairly long just to make them easy to find later foreign okay so I'll try and Mark out six meter logs so it's not running perfectly North or South so thank you so I'll just have to do [Music] and these little bits we can we can move by hand I'm just going to stick them out here so don't lose them okay so that's the first tree on I'll be apart from the little bit that we chopped off the top I'll just get cracking get some more trees on maybe do maybe do three trees and then we'll get that up to the store [Music] happy acting like a fool to know you got me wondering why you see you're giving me nothing baby [Music] I kind of knew that was going to happen at some point [Music] [Music] every now and then you lose [Music] all right next one this one oops maybe not the tallest tree this one looks pretty good [Music] now it's time for you to up and leave I do believe I do believe [Music] all right so I think I'll just get this one loaded up and then if I can and then we'll get to the store and see how much we've made okay so that's uh well they're on that's a good thing just this one last thing to put in that fell off I think I can pick this one up yes you can get rid of that oh what well who would have thought that was going to happen can I pick that up all right so it looks like we're starting again I'll just get this done off camera and then I'll see you on the way up to the store okay so made a better job of stacking them a second time around to the important thing is that they're here and to see how much money we make okay 8450 that's not too bad so I think what we can do is go back to where we were chopping the trees down and we'll have a look at this wood production facility oh what's commonly known as a sawmill yeah so I'm thinking that if we just put it sort of in here I think you can have it so you get your planks from this end and you load it up on this front so let's just have a quick look so it's buildings we want production grapes I think that's it there yeah so that way around overlaps with another object does that mean that there's trees in the way all right so we can get it in here let's just look around oh let's have a look around from this side that will be okay somewhere yeah I think I think about there looks good so all right let's do it all right so here's our sawmill yes I think this is where we we put the lumber in and around here is where it outputs the pallets so the next job's going to be cutting down some more trees and making some pallets uh nice these ones I can pick up I'll just throw them in okay so what we've chopped down now and could have been to six meter lens I'll just load them straight in using the loader don't there's any need to put them on a trailer first right just doing them one at a time well certainly with the big trees okay so what have we got in so it's saying there's 263 liters of wood in so we just put 13 000 in so that's going to give us a good start on production there's no pallets being spawned yet assuming that's where they spawn and I think this might be where the chips I'm not sure how you get the sawdust or the chippings but anyway I might just um should I take in now I think I was thinking about just throwing in some of those smaller trees but until I've got a stump grinder it's just going to make it off we're trying to find the stubs later on so I think what we can do now is look at creating another field I know somebody in the comments had mentioned that really I should be using a plow and I totally get that it would have been a great idea it would have meant that I wasn't going to get any weeds which was saved on herbicide costs but I also think if I hadn't if I hadn't bought a sprayer and just bought you know we do instead that would have been a better idea too so for just for now I'm just gonna carry on using the cultivator to create the fields I'm sure that for the next so once these fields have been harvested then I will get a plow hopefully by then I could have a second tractor and the field that's marked out with a plow with the field that's already marked out I can just set a worker off doing the plowing all right so I'll just Mark out a new field and then we'll decide which crop's going to get planted to come over one I think I wonder if I'm sat right on the field boundary here and if that's what the issue is maybe just take out this tree here all right so I'll just um crack on with this and I'll see you when it's done and just like that snow is gone everywhere looks so green now all right so that's this field all cultivated now although there is there is one small bit that I want to sort out at the top um just wondering if these will balance on here are they going to fall right through let's see if I can just move it over a touch oh I've got two palliative planks already I have actually spent the time up I was running up times three um I've sped that up to six because someone in the comments mentioned that that's what Dagwood and chainsaw running out so I don't know how much it matters I suppose it just means that whilst I'm in game I'll be producing more pallets than what I normally would have so I think just up the top here I haven't quite got it square so I'll just try and sort that out because as though there's just okay that's perfect right so there's about five stumps which you need removed and I think if I remember right the stunt grinder was was it about twenty five thousand dollars so we're a bit away from being able to afford that maybe these planks and if there's some um flowers and mushrooms oh we've got the tomatoes as well so perhaps if we just load everything up take it to the store and see what we can get for it yeah perhaps we can buy a stump grinder before we need to seed this field I think they were about 600 liters of log sauce too okay I'll take the cultivator back and then I'll come back with the trailer and the loader and we'll get these uh all these pallets loaded up and get them sold and we're probably gonna need some more seed and fertilizer too so we'll get it all sold and see what see what sort of money we make yeah see if we can fold the seed fertilizer and the and the stump grinder eventually we'll be getting a production facility to put these planks into I guess it's the carpentry Workshop so until we can afford that I think we'll just have to sell the planks at the uh at the store all right so that's our Planks on we'll go and get the tomatoes next and then see what mushrooms we've got just out of Interest how long until our next pallet's produced so it's actually oh it's flying up it's 873 at the moment um yeah so by the time we've loaded up Tomatoes flowers and mushrooms and might be another set of planks we can come back and get thank you all right so get the mushrooms and then stick the flowers on top and then go back for another pallet of wood all right Todd we've got four pallets of mushrooms and three fallets of flowers I thought they were produced at the same rate oh there we go there's our fourth uh fourth palette with flowers all right so I think we can just stick these flowers on by hand definitely a lot easier okay so I think we've got we should buy an hour that final palette of planks of The Sawmill so we'll quickly pick that up and I'll get up to the store and see how much money we've made so just before I pull into the spawn let's just have a quick check on prices see how much planks are actually worth um right so we're actually at the lowest it's a bit of a bad time to be selling but we do need the money so three and a half thousand dollars a thousand liters and we have three thousand liters so okay so it's gonna be at 11 000 just in plugs wow well wow that's all I can say so we're nearly going to be on fifty thousand I would say by the time all the tomatoes have sold forty nine thousand now thought we've made 45 600 just off that I mean that's absolutely amazing so that means that we can get our yeah that means that we can get the stump grinder oh that's twenty seven thousand I thought it was cheaper than that I'll tell you what let's just have a quick look that would have been nice to have had foreign okay so we'll just have to get the stump grinder as it is there is this one here forestry motor can be used to now I'll just stick with this it's 27 000 it'll be all right okay that's that done so I'm just wondering oh we're gonna need some more fertilizer and Seed so we'll get that that's important to hug now and that leaves us with nearly twenty thousand dollars perhaps should I look at perhaps another tanker a bit a bigger one so I think trying to think which one we've got did we have this one I think this is the one we got yeah the aquatrons and that's actually worth six thousand dollars to US so I mean there's just a big Joss skin don't think there's any other options I mean there is this one here which is 8 000 liters but yeah so I think if I just buy that we can customize it we'll set up standard wide tires well we're gonna go for wide toes so I think we can get all this back and load up the seed and fertilizer now on the trailer and then if I pick the I can pick the stump grinder up on the three-point linkage at the front I hope and I can get the trailer on the weight and finally we should be able to Hitch the tanker to the back of the trailer there we go simple all right so I think now we can get back to the farm and we can make a start on putting a crop in that new field right so I hope that'll keep refilling and I'm not going to need the loader so we can detach the loader for now and leave the weight as well so we'll just get the cedar get it filled up pitch up the stump grinder and we can make a start that's another another stack of pallets there of plunks let's just get these [Music] stumps done is that it gone that was easy so that's the three up here done I think there's two down the bottom gone okay so that's that done right and in terms of crop I think well I'll be honest I don't know but I'm gonna probably go for sorghum so just because at some point we're gonna need a lot of chicken feed chickens are definitely going to be coming to the farm so we'll give someone a go all right so I'll crack on with this and I'll see you at the end yeah so I've been having to think about the stones that we've got left and this I think this is probably our biggest field so far so I'm thinking that our our roll isn't going to cut it think what I'm going to do is I'm going to take the the row well I'll take the tanker back and then I'll also I'll just purchase a new roller if I can because I think we've got about six or seven thousand for that that other tanker that we have so I'll trade that in and see what we can buy in the way of of rollers Okay so we've sold that for 6822 dollars and if we go in here and we'll look for rollers couldn't see that there what do we have um so we've got sixteen thousand dollars I think I've used this one before and it's worked out all right you can extend it as well with another three thousand so that's a total of well we can't afford that so we'll just have to take it at its um 6.4 meter width but that's better than the three meters that we did have especially seen as we've hardly worked okay I'll get to the field get it rolled and then um that'll be it although we do have to top up the greenhouses before we finish okay so here we are um and I suppose really it's just fingers crossed that it actually does what it's supposed to do and it's looking good so far right so that's the field all rolled now this was a much better experience than the last one I hope you can see it um it's very it's looking very dark I'll see what I can do in um Premiere Pro to brighten it all look for you but I think we've just made a massive Improvement in the game or you know certainly made a massive boost to our progress so I think just the the final job of today is is to top up the greenhouses um and then I did I was planning on getting some uh bits get some bees put in because I think bees improve the yield of certain crops I don't know if anyone knows any more about that than I do be happy to to be uh told something new but yeah I was thinking of putting in a big beehive I think they have about 150 meter effective range so if I sort of put it between the um the old field no not the old field the wheat field and the soybean field I think that would that would probably make the if they do in boost the yield of those crops then yeah that would be a good place to put it and then eventually the honey will be useful for if we get a Serial production going but I feel like I've got a lot done today this is one of the longest sessions I've ever recorded currently on well two and a half hours I'm not sure how I'm going to edit all this down and probably won't be sort of many time lapses or um yeah I don't think there'll be many time lapses in in this in this episode I think I'll probably just do a lot of jump cutting okay so that's both the mushroom and flower Greenhouse filled up has just remained the tomatoes to do perfect okay so that's the end of this episode thank you
