foreign welcome back to the series everyone this is my uh survival challenge here on no man's land following as closely as I can to the uh multiplayer challenge that chainsaw 100 and daguin are doing so it's now we're in September last episode we planted some canola in the small field we created and as you see it's starting to come through and we've got a few weeds so we need to get back to the store where we've got our sprayer waiting there with some herbicide I also noticed that we've got our first palette of tomatoes unfortunately I can't lift these and I also realize that this Fiat tractor um well you can't fit a loader to it so what I found in mod hub is this bit of equipment here I'm not sure where it would be might be under miscellaneous uh that's a transport complexion of that one yeah so what I found is I think it's in this one is it bail loaders so it's just a little pallet Fork um that can go on a three-point linkage it's only one thousand and fifty dollars so it's well within our budget so we'll buy that and we should also recoup the money when we sell the tomatoes so let's have a quick look at tomato prices so it's amounts of 438 per probably a thousand liters um where we are in September they're actually at the lowest price so it might not be a good idea to sell them just yet because money really is everything in this early stages of the game so we'll go back up to the store we'll pick up the um the sprayer and then we'll come back we'll deal with the weeds in that field and then we'll make a start on making a bigger field and we'll plant some wheat get that rolled in and then we're ready for um winter so I'll see you back at the store okay and the fan is back at the store now so um here's our sprayer still got a bit of equipment here to get back to the farm but for now it's not doing us any harm there's quite a small tank only 300 liters but I think that should be enough for our field and you also notice I could have fitted an option on this for a front three point linkage and PTO that would have been handy in this situation it could have brought that palette Fork back but I think it I don't think it was that much money it was maybe about a thousand dollars extra but suppose it wasn't necessary when I bought it right so we'll get back to the field and we'll get these weeds dealt with and then we'll make a start on our next bit of land okay so here we are we're back now we'll just get the sprayer unfolded it's only an 18 meter width all right so I'll get this done and I'll see you at the end of the job ah right so I've got this issue again The Field's broken down it looks like this is going to be um a regular occurrence I'm assuming it's just a fault with the mod I'm not sure what to do about that we could change tractors and just um well how would we adjust the body I'll have to have a think about it but let's say I'll just have to reset this tractor again and we'll get back to it okay so we're now back at the field um I did make a bit of a mistake I reset the sprayer as well as the tractor and in doing that I lost the contents of the sprayer so I'm not exactly sure how much herbicide I've lost if we have a look when we get two rows done see what's left and I'll maybe just add that out of the game but we'll just crack on for now and I'll see you all at the end okay so that's the field tone I have noticed it's just missed a few bits and I really don't know why it would do that let's just have a quick go over again so he doesn't seem to want to get rid of these weeds I don't know if that's um a buggy the game or or what there's not much I can do about it in in all honesty it's it's not going to be a huge cost to us so now that's done I actually at the end of the SEC at the last row I refilled the spray I thought that was the fairest first way to do that so um I've regained the the bits that I've lost so uh it will put the spray over here and then we'll pick up the cultivator and we'll go and make a start on a new field okay so I think this is about where I was I was thinking um if we sort of start about here I could maybe come across slightly get a bit closer to this tree because I don't have to worry about these bushes these bushes will get taken out so if we were to start about here and we'll see what sort of fields are as we can make and I think I'll just go right up to the top of the field boundary make this section as as big as I can okay so we're getting close to it um I don't want to the field bounce just stop us but I think that should be good enough we must be really close to it okay and we want to go across so we're coming down this side of that tree so it'll be somewhere about here perhaps right so this is going to get a bit annoying I think I'm gonna have to do something about this tractor um again it's the gears have failed on it um I wonder if there's something in the options okay so we'll just try that I've I've switched it to a manual transmission um but no it's not having it so right I'll have to have a think about this and I'll get back to you okay so here we go um what I did is I took the uh reset the um reset the Fiat back to the store um I repaired it it I think cost like 45 dollars to repair it which gave us a little bit more money um I added the difference from the twenty four thousand um so with what we had left we just had enough money to buy this Deutsche fire I really like Deutsche fire tractors so that's um that's a good option so if we just have a quick look at it in the menu here is the agustaire um I can't afford any options I see we've only got 227 dollars left so I think what we're going to have to do is sell those Tomatoes even though I was you know a little bit at lowest price that they can be so what we'll have to sell those because there will be some maintenance costs into the next month and I really don't want to go into negative money so um yeah so I couldn't afford any options the good thing is as you can see here you can have it we can have a front loader eventually on this um could have thought I couldn't even afford beacons that's how poor we are but yeah so I say we've got the Dutch fan now I'm hoping this is a lot better and we've got the front Point linkage with PTO so that's going to be a bit more future proof for us so I'm going to get in the tractor I might as well take these pallet Forks back with me um we can also go slightly faster with this tractor and I'll see you back at the field when I'm connected up to the back up to the cultivator okay so here we are I'm just gonna see I'm hoping it works very much like the loader tools and it does so I'll be able to pick up both of these I think on one okay but just for now there's no point in taking them to stop to the store just yet so I'll just leave everything here and we'll come back for it at the end of the episode okay so I'm just looking at that and I think I might have overestimated how far we need to be so I'm just going to bring it back a bit a bit of a nightmare really because the uh feels not quite as nice as it was all right so let's just get down here keep it as straight as we can and join up uh with where we started okay so I think somewhere about here we'll do yep I think that's good okay so now it's just up and down about 50 times and I'll come back to you when it's finished [Music] foreign went quite well with this tractor I think um so all it means now is we've got to get the seed in I think I think it said we're going to go for wheat this time so we'll get that done get it rolled um and then we'll see how we're doing if there's anything else we can do this episode okay so we'll get started we've got wheat selected as a crop I'm going to run up this side of the field first so I um I make a square Edge at the top where I've over planted they're over cultivated I should say [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you thank you okay so we're on to the last pass now of the field it's um it's a really good seed of this gets the job done really fast traveling at eight mile an hour sorry 11 mile an hour and it being as wide as it is I think was it five and a half meters so yeah so that's that field all seeded next job we'll get the roller on it that's going to take a little bit longer but I'll maybe do a time lapse for that but if you just get out and we'll have a um a quick look at the field see what it's saying there's a helicopter going overhead I hope everyone's all right so as you can say so weeds weeds are growing it needs lime needs plowing needs for holding very much like the other field um so I'll get the cedar back get the roller on board and we'll get the final job done in this field okay so yeah this roller feels a lot smaller than um what we've just been used to there so well for you guys it'd just be a time lapse and it'll be over in no time so I'll see you at the end and we'll just check on what else we can do foreign bit of the field it's been rolled again we've got the same problem as we had with the first field we did where we just have a lot of stones still left um I've just come up this last bit done a lot of overlapping and it did take a lot of them out but I'm not sure what's going on it's like I've had a bad tractor with the feed and it seems I've probably got a bad roller so I think at some point we're going to have to change this but that's this field I'll finish now for for this episode um what I might do is off camera I'll just come around and finish off getting rid of the last of the stones all right so I think the last job I was going to do was to go and sell these tomatoes so that we have some money up I have no idea what's happening now that one wants to escape so we'll just head up to the store with ease get them sold and then hopefully that should be enough money to see us through the next month in terms of all the the costs of the land and the upkeep of the equipment okay so we'll get these Tomatoes sold not sure how much money we're going to make I mean there's only a thousand liters so I'm only expecting it to be was it about 400. 400 or so yeah so 435 dollars which it isn't really great so it is what it is so I think what I'll do we'll need the herbicide in the next episode for spraying the Weeds on the on the wheat field so we might as well take that back with us I'm not sure if I'll be able to transport the seed bugs can I I can't yeah I'm not sure if I'll be able to transport the seed bags with this pallet Fork I get the feeling as well that it it's not really like him being on the front of the tractor this is all the pallets uh slipping through the forks I'll tell you what I'll just drop this off here um if I can foreign okay we'll try it on the back but I don't think it's making that much difference to be honest so um we'll just try and get it back as best we can I did also try putting this roller on the front of the tractor to see if that made any difference to The Rolling of the stones but I had exactly the same issue I wasn't sure if this roller was designed for the front or or rear of a tractor so I just thought I'd give it a go okay so we'll just store a herbicide near to the sprayer there we go and then I'll put the pallet Forks oh look at that we've got another uh another pallet of tomatoes okay so we're all right for water in our Greenhouse um and our Wheat Field is planted now I can't believe how many stones are still left I think it looks we've made a good job this field I think it's probably twice the size well first one and we still have a little bit of land at the side we could we could create another field um in the next episode to plant another crop I was also thinking this bit down the bottom that sort of follows the truck of the road and the square edge of our field maybe this could be um used for grass to make some silage at some point I'm not sure whether it's whether you get as much grass off off the sort of the wild texture or if it's better to cultivate it and actually seed some grass yeah that's something I might have to look into but certainly if I was going to create the field for for silage I would mow the grasses there before I cultivated it um but that's something a bit down the line we haven't uh yeah we haven't got that much money left to be able to buy new equipment and go
