NEW GLOCK PERFORMANCE TRIGGER GEN 1 - 4

hey guys what's up Johnny clock I'm laughing because this is take number two um basically I hope you guys like those last two videos uh I thought they were pretty cool um you know the Vex shoe just went off the shelves today which is great and it man it's it it you know proof's in the pudding you saw you saw the video so I have another very exciting video and this is for you out there that have gen one through four now we know that Glock has only released their Glock performance trigger for Gen 5 only says it right there it's only gen 5. but however I couldn't rest with that and I felt bad for all y'all out there especially y'all in California that have nothing but gen 3 and so I figured I was going to see what I could do about that and of course I did something about that here we have a and we're gonna shot I have to take the slide off of these to show you guys what's actually inside of them so this is the Gen 4 and with the Glock performance trigger in it and now you can move that so I can take this slide off check out this awesome giant 3D printed Glock made by Matt over at 2A 3D or whatever his current Instagram is because he gets kicked off a lot as you can see still Gen 4 frame tape this in depth this is absolutely the new Glock performance trigger and a gen 4. you have to change over here so now yeah see no problems at all I'm gonna be testing these out more so um this one actually I don't do much didn't do much um testing for a competition trigger but this has some competition and components in it we're going to talk about in a second next let's go to the tribe tested and true gen 3 platform and once again you will see you can film my back as this slide disappears from this gen 3 it is a Glock performance trigger in this gen 3 Model too and see that whole thing works you can hear the hear the striker in there moving around so um function test Wise It's been working out we're gonna we're gonna put a bunch of rounds through it now this is I wanted to show you because like I said most guys that carry Glocks are you know defensive defensive guy so I wanted to do the same thing he'd come around me this way Wick that we did with the with the other Glock trigger with this one so as you can see there's your there's your take up a little bit little Tad longer on the Tad longer on the Gen threes than than the Gen 5 and then there's your break and this is with the plus connector in here so it doesn't oops sorry it doesn't move and then we're gonna go right back there so once again very short break very incredibly short reset now this is that uh defensive one that I designed with the plus connector and the Vex shoe um let's move over to this and you know we'll do a we'll do a pull test here real quick is it's probably going to be pulling four and a half just like the just like the other one that was pulling almost closer to five one more time here that one's more like four and a half so now that's the defensive one this one right here and this is very interesting because I built it with a competition uh model in mind and we threw every connector we could a couple type of Lone wolves the Black Diamond pteran Tactical uh a couple Zeb like a V4 race connector um several of the ghost connectors from the EVO to the 3.0 Angel and all that kind of stuff it doesn't matter which minus connector we throw in there it still has the same phenomenon which is very very interesting so I just want to do a I want to do a um show you the break this because it doesn't matter which one we put in there either so it's gonna always it's it's always breaking right about let that rock this doesn't matter what connector we put in it's always breaking right about two and a half pounds right there every single okay I'll do it one more time every single minus we throw in there the why does it keep doing that you're messing the station I'm missing the safety okay my phone's on the way okay so same thing right about two and a half but here's what's interesting we're gonna we're gonna walk through this action like we did come on a little bit closer here so with this that first line you know denotes the point of the trigger we're going to take it to the wall and then when we sh when we break it's just like the other one so when we rock it it's not going to move back any further but with all the other setups that we've seen it has moved back to the first line this second line it's actually the third from my left is red and you'll see it has to go all the way past where it usually was resetting and all the way up to that red line to reset which is just bizarre you know I mean you're thinking with the 3.5 pound connector most of the time you have a shorter reset so for this to be the actual longest reset we've seen out of any connector so you'll see it goes past where it was it should reset right there and all the other triggers it was click resetting but you'll see it goes all the way forward there and resets it's just uh and it's not because it's just an agenda for I've done it in all the different gen 3 Gen 5 it does the same exact thing it's very very interesting that that I guess is just a geometry I haven't really really you know tried to figure it out um because competition even though I do a lot of it is not like you know like a I'm not even I'm like I'm not gonna go past what I just said but anyway um yeah I just I can't figure it out right now because I'm gonna I'm gonna put it in my cutaway gun and once I put it in my cutaway gun now that I have these uh you know modified to fit the Gen one through four models I'll be able to see a little bit more what's going on through that little uh window back here if not if any of you have never seen a cutaway gun this is your cutaway gun so what I really need to get into is the is that mechanism right back there so I'm actually seeing what's happening with that trigger [Music] um as it breaks and as it resets because that's going to be the reveal I'm going to be able to see what's going on because like I said geometrically it should have the shortest reset all of them but we're seeing right now the one that has the shortest reset is actually the most acute which is the eight pound um that one I've just did right there the eight pound connector so so I am going to be offering just like I offered with the chimneys you can send me in like all you gen one through fours can send me in your Gen 5 you're just gonna send me this okay I'm gonna have two different options one is going to be competition and one is going to be defensive so I'm either going to be building it with a Vex shoe and eight pound connector actually I'll have three options because some people might just want to be in between uh competition I mean uh defensive with the eight pound connector and the Vex shoe we're gonna have the competition with the who won the guys that want the lighter break that's going to have the Vex shoe and a minus connector in there whichever one I figure out is the best most consistent minus connector and then if you opt just to have it as is uh we'll do it like this but with the Beck shoe like I'm not do I'm not having these sent in and just working on your trigger this is only going to be if you want the back shoe um that's just where I am with it right now so basically um I will mod it for you we'll have WIC and uh Jake polish everything up take care of all the edges everything it'll come back pristine so that's going to be uh you know once we get it tested up that's probably going to be on the website by the uh end of the week I'm thinking we can get enough rounds through these to make sure once again we can give give them a Papal Blessing but yeah this is a very very very very very exciting for you guys out there that have gen one through three so four rather you're not going to miss out on uh this fabulous new piece of innovation um and yeah I guess that's about it anything else has nothing to say can
