Glock Performance Trigger Gen 5

hey guys Evan here from Delta triggers today we're going to be talking about the new Glock performance trigger so this is glock's version of um what timney released a couple of years ago single action system works very very well and some of the differences between the chimney and the Glock performance trigger oh number one the design the way that they've they've they've designed this I mean the reset is a lot more aggressive is a lot better in my opinion and this is just my opinion it's a lot more reliable you don't have the issue of light strikes as what you had with the the chimney system and um yeah I mean it works pretty well I mean on my Gen 5 it came in at about four pounds using the dot connector that it came with using alternative spring sets really doesn't have much of a difference reason being is that when you're using this Single Action System your Striker sits fully cocked so it's just a matter of dropping straight down and the striker releases whereas on your normal system it sits about half cooked and then as you pull the trigger you're pulling back cocking it full and that resistance against the spring adds to your brake weight so adding a reduced power spring would then you know help with the brake weight it would it would lessen it so we've got our version of the Glock performance trigger so this is standard just for Gen 5 models it's all listed here so 17 Gen 5 19 Gen 5 19x 2016 5 34 Gen 5 45 and 47. all right that's what this is designed for so our version we've got everything polished nicely mirror finish polished then all our magic and refinement as what we would normally do on a trigger system you've now got your set screw in the front to adjust pre-travel and you've got a set screw in the back to adjust your reset and over travel quite a different system I'm actually just going to quickly show you like Okay so we've got the Polish system also um the strike has been refined safety plungers also been refined however a stock standard spring sets okay so the way that I've set this up is I've still got quite a lot of play that Gap that's how far back I can take the pre-travel let's get it a little bit closer okay so I can still take it back a lot you know depending on your shooting style depending on what you want to do you know I really wouldn't um advise using this system for everyday carry um this is definitely more suited towards a competition scene you know because it is quite light all right and so one thing I really like about this system being a single sort of action single stage so you've got your take up and I mean that break is just phenomenal I mean it's like at 90 degrees it's just insane so with the refinement that we do it gives you this kind of reset okay it is unreal the reset that you can get on this system is just unbelievable and it break it's just ridiculous so my opinion block performance trigger absolutely phenomenal you can um put it aftermarket shoe on here a lot of people don't like the shoe I don't think it's too bad I think it's quite comfortable it doesn't have the little NAB but you can put an aftermarket shoe on there if you want to there are at this stage only two makes that our trust um you know if you want to contact me and ask me questions about it you're more than welcome to but um yeah this breaks it about four using a dock connector that it comes with if you put in a refined minus connector so we do the refine minus connectors as well only use Glock OEM um it reduces it by about half a pound but the wall is less prominent so you know from the guys that I've done these upgrades for already some of them are well-renowned shooters that have been to um Global Champs and Etc overseas and they like that wall they don't mind that little bit of extra pull weight but they want a very defined wall and that all really just comes down to your shooting style you know if you add a minus connector it gives you a little bit more of what they call a rolling break it's not as defined for when it lets go but all comes down to personal preference overall this is an absolutely fantastic purchase um I would most certainly take this over the chimney system any day and if I really was in favor of an aftermarket aluminum shoe I would just put it on as an added extra but I would most certainly use this system as opposed to a chimney system all right thank you guys
