New FeelFree Moken 12.5 Walkthrough, Demo and Review

so initially I was just going to feel a quick demo and review on the spot but I'm having so much fun I don't want to get up to water stories posted at all hey guys thanks for tuning to move outdoors today out here headwaters kayak shop in Lodi and today I'm gonna demo and do a review video on the feel free walk in 12.5 they just came out with a new design I'm really excited about their upgrades doing good well Stewie yeah a Linda guess we got here then welcome back yeah good to be back how are you seeing down here about four or five days I'm gonna head back up and I'll be back again at the end of the month so you all fit and everything but yeah so I'll go the water to thing I don't you write on my back door and go paddle that's also though yeah yeah I'm excited for it need to borrow your top water 120 because I got a 110 up there or 106 or whatever I want to do comparison well yeah yeah definitely if y'all head up there good I'm you a Lodi Lake I got the feel free I'm open to 0.5 on my car right now I'm gonna unload it and see what we got so here it is right here feel free milking 12.5 this is a brand new color scheme they came out with so this boat is a 12 foot and 8 inches long and 32 inches wide and starting from the bow we got a nice molded handle right there and rot tip protector and a large hatch simply turn to unlock it and voila Scott plenty of storage inside and you got your adjustable footrest and the feel free gear track on either side and paddle holder in the bag we got cup holders here and the round holders on either side you got a pretty good sized Stern well as well with here track some bungee and you got a train plug over here and though back here as well and this boat comes a lot already which can be easily installed within ten ten to fifteen minutes just start in there your line goes in there really simple and get a little small round hatchback here [Music] access to the inside the hall scupper holes back here two more two more and two more so it is no mass couple of holes and a couple of upgrades team a or the solar part down here and instead of the old school clip-on seat they have a lawn chair style which I'll show you so first of all this is the solar pump before they had a little bit narrow and longer a center console that you can open it up and store stuff with a new design they got a stone upon which means now you can install your transducer down here and install your a fish finder up here and then the wiring goes through here so unless either side you can open it up you get your storage for your batteries your attack or whatnot [Music] that's down and over here you latch down to keep it in place and now let me show you the seat and as you can see lawn chair style seat nice and big and so we have this disc rules here that will give you different positions so you are you have one lower position and two upper position and we got these straps to adjust the recline of the seat and we got a strap here basically holds the seat in place alright and let's take a look at the the hall of the boat you flip this around you got a nice almost flat bottom here and that's just under par your transducer will be sitting right there and then at the kill you got the cue wheel all feel free kayaks canoes the keel wheel these actually it works pretty good in hard surface area or even surface area but not so good in the sand or gravel or dirt all right let's get on the water [Music] [Music] all right underwater and curly under a high position right now adjust my footrest where I have a slight Bend on my knee and today I'm using I'm using a pending branches the wooden paddle Dan let me follow this paddle and I never used a wooden pallet before so excited about this this is dance a favorite paddle having fibers I'm actually more lighter than wooden paddles but then likes it because once it gets in the water it kicks it right back off so if you guys it's a little bit heavier it's very yeah I could see yeah it wants to kick back up so you're not lifting the paddle out of the water just comes up naturally automatically so oh man I love the paddle so this is my first time paddling a Mogan 12.5 paddle one before and I really really like it in terms of kind of all-around fishing kayak so like I said before is off feet eight inches tall 32 inches why the way is 72 pounds and has weight capacity of 419 pounds so as you saw earlier I was able to car top it without a problem being 72 pounds I got chronic back pain so if I can do it average person can easily do it I'm gonna try to get out of the wind a little bit so the reason why this is one of my favorite all-around fishing kayak is being 72 pounds is portable and being toe foot 8 inches long it's got the link to go offshore in the ocean 32 inches wide so it's got the stand ability for most people so anything let me take the camera with you guys and show you so let me show you the stand ability there you go so as you guys saw it's very easy to stand up I'm currently in the high position so it makes it even easier and let me bring it down to the lower position see how easy it is to stand up to go to the lowest position I really set up the strap here a little bit and just spray the support it's a little bit harder to stand up and sit back down but could be it could be easily done so as you guys earlier the whole is pretty much flat so that he panels actually pretty good I'm not gonna lie this is not the best imperiling higher but for 30 inches wide it's pretty easy to power my other pair of Hayek is a thoughtful long but it's a pony a which is why the apt I was really good not as good as my cattle kayak but this one pan is pretty good another aluminum paddle with the plastic blade is pretty heavy and I'm a huge fan of a carbon fiber because they are so light but even though this is a little bit heavier it feels like is easier to paddle with it because the blade just wants to come out of the water if you're looking for all-around kayak I think this is a pretty good option there are a few out there that I think is a pretty good option for all-around kayak 5:c goes 130 and also a pressing kayak Lifehacker I will be demoing those two in the near future along with many other kayaks one of the perks that I have as a headwater fishing team is I get to demo every single boat they carry I have done couple kayak demos and reviews in the past but I'll be doing a lot more future so please stay tuned for that so you guys know that uh I'm mostly on my hobby so I rarely get to Carroll baggage and
