hey guys welcome to today's video I just spent literally an hour and a half putting all of this makeup on my vanity I'm gonna do like a quick little taught to camp for you guys because what started out as me wanting to do kind of like a fresh natural glam basic Tati esque makeup routine that would be using exclusively drugstore makeup then turned into I want to do that routine but I don't want to use any item that costs more than ten dollars so it's like full face of drugstore you know easy everyday glam makeup everything's under ten bucks and I just kind of went to town and the whole desk is like filled of all of my favorites it looks beautiful I'm gonna have a hard time deciding what to use but I'm gonna show you guys anyway all right we have the full Tati cam here at some of my very very favorite items covergirl so good Katrice we have some elf we have a little wet and wild powder I'm really loving the new photo focus one I have some hard candy highlight wet and wild highlight Maybelline fit me blush what in wild shadows I mean I just have so much going on here and I cannot wait to play with this all basically I have a lot to talk about and I'm gonna achieve it with not a ton of product it's still glamorous I might still put on lashes I might still do contour but while we're doing that I want to give you guys solid recommendations as well so this is kind of like an all-in-one everything great drugstore products that are very flattering and easy to use give you a great result let's dive on in and put on some makeup I can't decide if I'm hot or if I'm cold right now I'm gonna ditch the Blazer I really hate having like constriction and like so much on like I actually love getting ready like putting all my clothes after I do my makeup like I'll either have just like a tiny robe or nothing at all and then you don't destroy your clothing okay so we're gonna start out with a primer this is the stick it to pours primer from hard candy I would not recommend using this one everywhere it is a little bit sticky it has a soft powder finish it does really fill in those pores does a good job you can pick this up Walmart but like I wouldn't take it out here you don't need to it'll just be a little bit too sticky for the perimeter of the face I am gonna use a little bit of a hydrating primer because it's been a hot minute since I put on my moisturizer today so I just want to make sure that I have some light moisturization for there to be a glide with the foundation usually I will use a moisturizer and then a pore filling primer and that'll just get me like ready for foundation so it's not like I'm using a moisturizer and then another moisturizing hydrating primer and then the port like that's too much if you're doing it all at once but if you're waiting hours in between your skincare in the morning and doing your makeup I think it's nice to have a little extra edge to the skin pre-application I'm actually gonna start by contouring the skin and I'm gonna use the infallible full wear concealer from L'Oreal I'm just gonna dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot I really love how I just hyped you guys up to like this is such an easy get you out the door fast no frills makeup routine I can't help it [Music] okay so next up I'm actually gonna take this pro conceal by la girl and I'm gonna use this underneath the eyes only and now I'm gonna take a real techniques brush and this is actually one of my favorite brushes period I use this all the time it's so random you know in the mix of all of my brushes high-end and drugstore this one just jumps out to me this is the Real Techniques setting brush and it just has such a nice shape right here where you can really fluff it out to blend out a contour you can set the under-eye area you can blend in liquids I'm about to do that right now and just kind of use it for whatever it's a very versatile brush the size is really nice and it's 799 799 are you out of your mind oh my gosh I was having a conversation with someone about the price of Subway sandwiches like when did they get so expensive where you go to subway it used to be like five dollar footlong and now it's like alright well that only 23 five and you're like what my inner monologue is like seeping out this is about what is in my head like all of the time Wow is always that which is so expensive all of sudden no no no all right so I'm blending that concealer out I'm trying to kind of focus and stamp and press in the immediate areas where I initially laid it down but any of the excess i'm fanning out so that i don't just look good on camera here but so that i don't look like a total whack-job in real life because you guys the heavy makeup we need to have a talk the heavy heavy heavy makeup in real life does not play now if you're going out to dinner and you're in a candlelit environment you're going to be taking a lot of photos you're in a situation where you're on a stage you're performing you're being filmed there are certain times where it is so wonderful to have like the full meal deal but you can still have that full meal deal and be very glamorous and have the skin look great and that's what I'm after like real life where it's like it looks like your skin it's not like the eye immediately goes straight to powder and heaviness so I'm really pushing myself to take more time blending and not be you know so quick about just piling on too much makeup all at once and whenever I'm blending in my contour I do tend to push it up a little bit instead of getting down in this region I think it looks better to blend circularly and up versus getting it to drag down and also when you're trying to find where you should be setting your contour like where that line is take your fingers like find where your cheekbones are you don't just need to do the thing because that might have you going too low don't be afraid to kind of play around with it if you're new to contouring and like this kind of thing that I'm doing is like no like never you know what you do when you're in those no I would never ever ever but I kind of am intrigued moments try it at nighttime before you wash off your makeup it's the best time to practice a winged eyeliner that's the best time to practice a new brow shape or contour because you're just gonna wash it off anyway so you can kind of go a little bit harder with the pigmentation just to visually see like oh yeah good now comes the magic we're gonna go on top of this with a dash of foundation you guys have seen me use this a million times so this video is not just o brand new products that I'm trying out this video really is me demonstrating and things that I think are so fabulous that would work for a lot of people that don't cost seventy five dollars you know they're all under ten so here we go I just loaded up this brush here and I'm literally just gonna start kind of lightly whisking it on the face I'm not adding a ton of pigmentation my goal here is to just kind of blend everything together and make everything look super super even okay now we're in business I'm gonna go ahead and put a little more on my glass pallet of the wet and wild and hopefully you can find this little sale and this is not going on my face so maybe technically this will be the one that breaks the rules but I am really enjoying this Beach Bay face and body Luminizer I'm gonna take a pump of that into the foundation that I was using I'm going to mix it up I'm gonna take a brush that is a lot more fanned out and I am going to take this down the neck so this does not have as much pigmentation as far as coverage is concerned and it has more of a sheen to it because of what I just pumped in with the beachy glowy product from L'Oreal but it's gonna help everything to have a nice seamless look also super important if you're wearing your hair up like me and I'm bad I don't always remember to do this you do want to kind of graze the back of your neck as well if you have heavily contoured or bronzed or you know you don't have foundation matching exactly because sometimes things oxidize and they get either just like a little bit warmer or just a tiny bit deeper in tone you don't want to take things down the neck and then have it stop here and that doesn't mean you need to like full-on shellac the back of your neck that's not what I'm saying I'm just saying take the excess and just kind of fan and blend back here as well and then if I go down the neck like this and I do have clothing on which on please usually only when I'm filming for you guys I'll wait till it kind of sinks in a little bit to pull the straps back up and I'll always kind of go over with a powder bronzer to kind of lock it in same rule applies globally on the body if you want something to set and wear longer and it's cream you go over it with just a light dusting of a powder you don't have to go like bananas with it just like a little like you know I am going to hit the under-eye area boom boom that's it and I'm really kind of getting in this area here for me that gets dark take the excess on the center of the chin this is always a nice area to highlight because it kind of pulls this forward and make your jaw look a lot sharper now I'm gonna take my covergirl advanced radiance you guys know how obsessed and I'm gonna go ahead and take a zoeva luxe powder fusion brush I'm gonna make sure all the pigmentation is off of this guy right here I'm gonna take the tip of the brush in and I'm just gonna go right up in that corner first and stamp outward and inward so to me this is more of a brightening powder on the rest of the face I am just gonna lightly dust the photo focus loose powder from wet-and-wild I really like this it's great for baking like if you want to go kind of hard with the powder this one is really nice we're now gonna go ahead and bronze up the skin I'm gonna use this city bronzer from Maybelline I think I like this it's kind of already been a little bit of a love/hate the only other drugstore bronzer that I like seriously die hard love this positions formula that's over ten dollars they make really good bronzers so I'm initially gonna go in with a larger brush starting at the furthest point from my nose I don't want the heavy pigmentation to be up here I wanted to be back here and then I kind of just move forward but I keep pulling back so every time I pick up more bronzer I'm trying to be mindful to start my application back here and then pull forward now I'm taking a smaller brush same correct and I'm going to go and just lightly graze the edge of my forehead and then I'm gonna kind of go in here as well and just deepen up this contour it'll look more natural if you use the same product and just a more densely packed brush it really gives a nice gradient that way we're gonna use just a kiss of blush we're gonna go in with the Maybelline fit me I did not like this when I applied it in my most recent Maybelline video I was like I don't know and it does fade quickly so you definitely want to use in a long 18 setting spray and if you're someone that really loves the look of blush and that's super important to you then make sure you have it in your purse and you can touch up on the go it lasts you know 3-4 hours but it's not like a 12 hour wear where it's just like they're done but the color of this one is so fantastic and it's literally like under five bucks so I'm gonna go ahead and use this I'm gonna try and dupe this shade because I think also it's like this shade that I really really love yeah that's nice okay we're gonna go in it now I had forgotten about these I found a huge bin in my closet of all hard candy makeup and I started playing with it again and I was like ooh there's some good stuff in here there's some terrible stuff too I think once upon a time I had wanted to do like a full face of hard candy and I'm like screw it let's just kind of like put it in one of these videos but long story short this is so so beautiful they have a few other shades I'll insert them here as well this is the meet me in Tahiti oh it's just in Tahiti this is the hard candy just glow highlighting trio so I'm gonna start right here in this guy and we're just gonna go right on that high point you get all three of these for like nine dollars and a brush that actually does not suck now I'm gonna mix these two right here and I'm just gonna tuck just a tiny bit lower okay and now I'm gonna go back to my bronzer brush and now I'm gonna do one of those and we're gonna hit the body you can even go back in and grab the more intense brush go right in here and you can you know do a little that action if you like the way that looks if you want to mist this guy these particular highlighters work really really well damp and that bumps it up just a little bit as well other honorable mentions would definitely be at the master chrome these guys from Wet n Wild are beautiful any of their highlighting powders I also love using this single from Maybelline for like three bucks that makes an excellent highlighter covergirl has new ones and they are surprisingly pretty they sent me a few of these they're really subtle and they don't grab out a lot of texture on the skin so if you're looking for like a medium blinding type of a highlight that doesn't pick up on every little texture that you have on your face it still shows up that's a really really nice one for lips what I want to do is go ahead and line and I'm gonna use one of my diehard favorites it's number eleven in the nude from essence and I have gone through so many of these over the years I'm gonna go ahead and just line this one is almost the exact color of my lips so it's one of those that you're not gonna really see a lot of definition and they have different shades that kind of vary in tone which is really nice you can find one that suits you and your skin tone I love that and then I also really love pink mauve from coqui this is a retractable liner now what I want to do is go in with the shade 373 mah for me from Maybelline these were developed to look good on any skin tone I think that they are gorgeous it is a traditional Maybelline lip formula which is really creamy really smooth it has that Maybelline signature babydoll kind of a scent like it smells like dolls like like when you were playing with as a child but the formula is great the color is so nice is that not so pretty and juicy and I don't even have a gloss on top of it maybe we should do a gloss I want to do this Hollow well this is the Dewey at high shine gloss from essence I'm just gonna put that just right here that's a good lip combo I wanted to share with you guys other Libby's that I really really love essence does have these new plumping nude lip glosses these are fantastic here are two shades that I really really love I have the shade so extra and charm I also really really love this shade right here this is from Wet n Wild and this reminds me of 903 B this is no more drama I normally would not do this but I just want to show you guys this happens to be one of those lipsticks that really can transform any of the others that you already have because it has that brightening effect to it so when you wear it on its own with no liner it's probably gonna look a little bit weird but if you use this kind of a lip color correctly and you just kind of stamp it right in the center and then blot it out it can look so what nice and if you ever find that weird thing happening where you're like oh my gosh something's like not looking balanced like the lips look too hard it's like too aggressive and it needs to be toned down a lot your lips put on something like this right in the center Pat it out take a look at how things have changed and where the eye is pulling and then if you need to go back and in line and add a little gloss to kind of make it all blend together that works really well to shift the mood of the look you're going for if you ever land in the what have I done Lane which I'll and they're all the time it happens to all of us who dare to explore and play with the makeup so just know what the tools to adjust and fix and it will be good for brows I want to use this little elf duo and just an angled brush I don't like the brush that comes with it sorry I don't like it I'm gonna use this guy right here and I'm just gonna brush my brow hairs upward this is the shade medium and I'm gonna go in with the powder first I'm feeling pretty okay about the brows so we're on to the next move and that is to pull the camera closer and get to some eye shadow this is gonna be dramatic but easy looking video with me again can you say hi you're the best dude bring a ball that is a toddler speak for ring the bell and I agree you should ring the bell so we're first gonna go in the crease and just kind of fluff a little color on the crease I'm gonna use a Mac 217 I couldn't decide I know these both look like basically the same right this is from joah and I've used this many many times I actually super love this eyeshadow palette and not a lot of people do it's under 10 bucks I think it's nice quality we're gonna go in first with the shade cappuccino and just frame out the eye and get a little bit of color on the crease night you noticed I just like hi I'm an expert did I really just do that then and I try again Tati okay take two I'm gonna go in the shade cappuccino grab it on the tip of a brush and we're just gonna frame the eye I always actually kind of like tilting back a little bit you guys see me do that a lot and there's a reason it's so that I can see where my crease is because I don't want to go too high I don't want to go too low I just want to give my crease a little depth so that it frames everything else making my eyes look bigger like there's a reason that I don't want to go too high or too low see how this just makes this eye look like like so much bigger because you have that shadow right here that's kind of pushing everything up a little bit so what I like to do now is go back in but with an empty brush like this is how I make everything look extra perfect this is an extra step sometimes you don't always have the time to do but I'm just gonna make sure everything is super duper blended and you can go back and forth with just what I did are you guys enjoying like makeup school Tati this is different I'm really trying to like jam education and as many of my little things that I do in these videos because I always do them and I'm thinking about why I'm doing certain things but I you know sometimes just forget to talk about it okay same color lower lashline even on natural days it's a nice way to make your eyes appear larger just make sure you don't go too low we're like really tuck it underneath those lashes I always like to start in the center of my eye because I feel like that's what makes more space and I actually don't like pulling it too far in a lot of people like doing that but my eye shape almost goes up so it can make my eyes like droopy so I don't do that again mentioning trying out what works for your face shape at night and what am I going to do next boom okay now we're gonna go on the lid with the shade up beat right here I'm gonna take a color pop II 1 3 and I'm just gonna graze the entire length of the pan with the brush getting the entire brush coated and then I'm gonna make sure that it's coated by patting it on the back of my hand then I'm gonna go in tilt back same thing I don't want to get this above and in the crease so I'm really gonna focus on just using patting motions I'll kind of tilt this upward sometimes and kind of go into the crease that way just so there's no start and stop repeat on the other side and we're basically done I want to put a little bit of highlight underneath the high point of my brow so I'm gonna take the shade whip cream I'm gonna go back in with that clean brush and just kind of make sure everything is meeting up everybody's friends we're all good here and I'll even sometimes kind of fluff it on that outer corner like so just to make sure everything just looks really really soft now we're gonna line I am going to go in with a black liner this is the deepest black from Cokie now I'm not gonna use a lot obviously it's black I don't want to go too hard so I'm really gonna focus on almost dotting the lash line and it's just framing the eye it's not really doing much more than that now I'm gonna go in with an EO v eyeliner brush from Sigma and I don't have anything on here I'm just gonna make sure everything is kind of pressed into the lash line and now I am going to take an angle brush and I'm gonna go into who this shade evil and we're gonna slightly wing this out just a tiny little bit and set the liner and this is a perfect way to achieve a really beautiful winged liner but without it feeling like that's the only thing you're looking at it still feels kind of just like just a little natural and just not so much the first thing that you see I do want to deepen up the crease just a tiny little smidge more so gonna go back into Capucine you know sometimes when I place a wing I find a need to just deepen up this outer corner a little bit more because you really get the balance down and then you can always go back in and just kind of adjust ever so slightly okay now I really wanted to go in and put this guy right here from Milani this is one of my favorites this is rose foil and it's similar but different to wanderlust from Stila of course this is drugstore not going to toss you as much as steal a magnificent metals and I actually really like putting this on with a brush and once I have all of my eye makeup done you know in the crease the liner all of that I'll go back in grab a little bit on a brush and just kind of help my head back so I'm not getting this on the eyeliner I'm avoiding doing that next up we're gonna go into the essence volume stylist do you guys know this is one of my favorites I have a lot of favorites as far as mascara goes for under 10 but this one is just literally under five and it is quite impressive so I'm just gonna load up my lashes and then I think I am going to pop on some falsies I'm going to go ahead and use the double-up whispies from ardell they have some new ones that are its natural something-or-other and they look beautiful I think I'm gonna need to order some new drugstore lashes to try out it's like an invisible band alright one down one to go I'm gonna put on the other lash and I'll be right back alright you guys we made it to the finish line and normally I cannot reiterate this enough this type of a look does not take you at so much time you can do it so fast just blend blend blend make sure there's nothing running into one another as far as any sharp or harsh lines on the face on the eyes and you're you know gonna rock a really beautiful look that does not look overdone but definitely is still glamorous we didn't use anything that's you know crazy crazy expensive and I think this is a really wearable look for most people that like a little bit of an edge with something shiny on the lids if you don't you can pull that away entirely and it is still a beautiful look you don't have to do the lashes you don't have to do any of these steps that make you go like just do what makes you feel your best but some of these techniques no matter what your look or your vibe is can definitely help you to have a better end result and you know layering powders on top of creams that will connect the makeup in a way where it will last longer so even like the little trick of the liner that's something I've been doing for years some people think like what a useless waste of time like why do you need that extra step it's just gonna really give you like this subliminal kind of pull out on the eyes if you want to widen the eyes but also it's like a win-win it helps the liner to wear longer as well and to hold in tight into place so there's always a reason for kind of layering things up in that way and as a final step because I want my makeup to last all night long I'm gonna go ahead into the maybelline lasting fix 16 hour wear matte finish it's a little drawing on the skin beware buyer beware if you have oily skin I think you will really enjoy this it's very similar to the Urban Decay all nighter it's not my total fave fave fave I actually have a hard time finding drugstore makeup sprays that I like and the ones that I do enjoy are over $10 so this is what it is today guys and then I'm gonna move on my merry way so the mist on here is really nice though look at that I love this look like this is my happy place I love this look I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did go ahead and give it a thumbs up make sure you're subscribed so that you know when I'm uploading at my future
