hi friends traci here from the sewing channel welcome back and if you're new here welcome this is heavy i have two auctions for you today so keep your eye out 25 cents i paid for a 75 item oh yeah no talking today let's get busy and do some thrifting the first thing to catch my eye was this fist stars bow maker it looked like it was brand new but i was trying to see if possibly it could have been opened but i'm not sure anyways it retails for about 24.95 on ebay brand new in here they only wanted 2.99 so it does look like a good deal and here this needles and hoops cross stitch was only a dollar ninety nine and it was discontinued that's what it said on the package anyways oh here was this darling little pansy cross stitch type deal i don't know it was like a pattern it was a jar wrapper i'm not real sure but it look kind of cool here were a few little crafty projects there's a snowman behind there and a little doll looking thing and here i thought this looked interesting it said great copy patterns i've never heard of them if you've heard of that company let me know down in the comments i didn't end up getting it but it was only i think 1.99 for the patterns i actually saw a few different brands of these neil needle threader punchers i'm not sure what they do if any of you know let me know and here we have some more knitting needles now my goodwill never disappoints in this right here there's always a ton of these little knitting needles and they're about 99 cents each and here we have some more needles and hoops some more cross stitch but i don't think it was all there here they had some elastic and it looked like some fray check right there and some more elastic i believe the elastic they only wanted 99 cents for it the fray check was also 99 cents and then there was just some scrap booking stuff beyond that how about this anyone want to make your shirts a little glitzy this holiday season uh no thanks here were some vintage shirt buttons for 99 cents back there were some little plastic hoops and i believe that yep there's a glue gun there were a few of them in today's shopping uh trip this was i believe it was like a little felt applique kit there not real sure they had some fake hair there in the bag right there um yeah not so sure uh yep that look what was that tool i never looked to see what that tool was oh boy oh here we go yes this was a bunch of different laces and rickrack and some different things and it was 4.99 and you all always tell me to pick it up and put it in an auction because you will definitely be wanting it so i did there were only about seven pieces that were already opened i paid 4.99 and the bidding starts at 99 cents good luck sometimes my craft section at my goodwill is a hot mess and today it was a hot mess now in this bin right here there were some buttons and here look there's another needle puncher kit or something i don't know what does it do you guys tell me not sure if you can see but there's a little tiny mini uh glue gun down there here's some really cute vintage frames right there just some tchotchkes in here some i don't know what those were just little crafty things that you would glue on things possibly scrapbooking or something like that and those were little quilted kind of letters that someone had made and must have put them in a bag and gave to the goodwill here we had some really cute stamps today they were really cute i know that a lot of my stamp lovers or stampers that watch my channel they would probably go nuts over these they were they were cute that one was really precious just quite a few but they were kind of loose and they were everywhere you just had to really look and they run they were running about 4.99 that's actually the highest that i've ever seen the stamps at my goodwill but they were pretty big here was some metallic looking thread i did not pop on it though i did put them back there's another collection of stamps here this was a really cute little amish cross stitch project i thought it was darling here was a little fabric lacy heart project this next thing i almost popped on it i still think i maybe should have grabbed it i don't know it was a little patchwork ornament kit for 99 cents i opened it up and it looked like it was all there but i just wasn't sure so i put it back now i kind of regret it oh here this was a little mini blocks i mean they were so tiny a little kid would probably end up swallowing them and choking on them so i'm not sure what what they were doing there there was some thread there that i threw back and this right here tell me you guys is was this a seam press like one that you would finger press but you would use that little roller i almost popped on it but i didn't here was just some i don't know what that was really and let's see what else do we got here little sewing kits and such there was some latch hook they look like vintage latch hooks really the kind that used to get in the kits and such and here were some more stamps they like i said they were just everywhere you kind of had to look seems like people are giving up on their stamps lately you can see right here 1.99 they want for some of those but 4.99 for the big ones though and here were some metal zippers for 59 cents each i've gotten this deal here before so i didn't really need any more so i left those here was this travel tiny rotary cutting mat for 2.99 no way this here seemed to be some sort of photo scrap booking type kit okay friends punch kit number three oh yeah looks like maybe something to do with cross stitching maybe or something or maybe it's like the old latch hook but the new version not sure auction number two look at all this dmc floss now i know my cross stitches are going to be all over this most of them are brand new there's only a handful that aren't so 63 pieces and the bidding starts at 99 cents good luck this here looks like a pattern maker it's called tack it i've never used it any of you ever used it looks a little vintagey what did they want like 1.99 for it i'm really not used to seeing a lot of patterns at my goodwill but there were quite a few there for 2.99 today here was some different ribbons and such there was like a seashell necklace back in there um lots of just you know ribbon this here was a fleece ragtime quilt that looks like it had already been started for 10.99 and no yeah no bad deal i think an already started project you know so again here's a bunch of these patterns that i'll just sift through quickly they wanted 2.99 each there were a lot of really nice patterns and they seemed to be brand new but it was nothing that i really wanted so i kind of just skipped through that was some kind of a quilting project right there not sure some of the stuff is so bagged up that you can't even tell what it is that's the only part i don't like is just the way that they bag these and you can see there is yet another glue gun in there there's so many today i'm not sure people are giving up the glue guns here are some more patterns and they were mostly women's patterns i think there was one men's pattern i almost popped on there i think there was a robe pattern in there i'm not sure um here we go this is some more cross stitch or something like that i guess with that burlap i'm didn't look like cross stitch the burlap didn't anyways there were some already crocheted stuff here and this i thought was interesting but i did not pop on it it's called christmas sako yeah i'm not sure i was like what are you trying to make they're an actual boot or sock or or what i don't know but i passed on it here is just a bunch of ribbon just all thrown together there is some yarn down there like i said hot mess oh here were some old older hoops they were more on the vintagey side i did almost pop on those but i ended up leaving them i like to dig deep down inside of these bins this particular bin happened to be on the bottom shelf and it always intrigues me because i never think that anybody has gone through it yet when i end up finding it and i don't think anybody had because there were a lot of different patterns in here there was some raffia and ribbon and just a lot of these different patterns that were i think 299 to 399 and that was a men's one but there were a lot of different dresses and such they were pretty but again i just i don't really have time to make my own clothes anymore you know being now that i'm a grandma and all so yeah now if it would have been a little kid's pattern i might have popped on that i don't know here's the robe pattern that i was talking about earlier but i ended up not getting it i left it and here's the rest of these patterns in here just a lot of different ones and there was even a curtain craft pattern or something like that i'll back up here with the camera so you can see the area it was quite a mess now you've seen my goodwill craft area when it's nice and neat and you've seen it a hot mess and it was definitely a hot mess here so this was new i've never seen big huge bolts of fabric like this at my goodwill they wanted 10.99 for each of them and i don't know how much was on there but that was a really good deal it was it was kind of like um drapery of some sort but i didn't end up popping on it because i didn't need it this was a singer vintage buttonhole maker and i believe they wanted 4.99 for them and i know some people do collect these but i don't so let me know down in the comments if you like to collect that sort of stuff the vintagey stuff like that so this right here was a box kit of some sort and in it it was really neat it had a bunch of these really nice scissors now upon further inspection the scissors were new but they were a very cheap new so i left it this next item caught my eye it was some sort of drafting drawing board of some sort it really didn't seem like it was for sewing or crafting so that's why i ended up leaving it but it looked really vintagey and it looked really cool but i don't know let me know down in the comments if you know exactly what it is there's nothing like a good curve i popped on this bow compass oh yes i did for 99 cents now i know this doesn't really have to do with sewing but isn't this darling this little baby doll cradle for 4.99 i popped on it it's going to be a gift for my granddaughter someday i'm going to make a cushion and some blankets oh yeah so yes sewing related sort of this next item was definitely the best deal of the day all the books were on sale for 25 cents each and this book right here this big thick book was no exception this was a book of quilts it retails for 75 now granted they did get it from bargain book for 9.99 that's what it said the sticker on the front of the book but i don't care i love it now this may end up being an auction at some point but not today friends i need to look through this book and it's going to take me some time check out this furniture here someone had made a cover and quilted it over top of it you can see the crisscross quilting it was definitely homemade i just thought it was kind of uh cool here we have this last item it was so cute think of keeping your little cross stitch in this or some little tiny project that you're working on for 1.99 so darling until next time on the sewing channel take care
