routine and so I wanted to film it I wanted to spend a little evening together I've been so guilty of neglecting the importance of an evening routine in the past and having these simple realistic steps has truly transformed how I end my day and set myself up for Success the next day especially when trying to get up early in the week I think each evening it's important to prioritize spending some time on yourself doing something self-care related something that makes you feel good so I didn't manage to get a workout in earlier in the day so I'm squeezing it in at the end of the workday I've been really enjoying the gym recently which I am proud of myself for I've also been going by myself a bit more which just feels like a nice way to have some alone time will then pick me up from the gym and we made our way [Music] home hello hello come you're I used to always prioritize having the best morning routine I could and focusing more on that I would just tell myself that the evening is for lazy time I'm pinching Netflix which yes the evening is all about unwinding but I've been trying to do it in a more mindful way believe me it is going to be a lot easier getting up earlier if you have properly let your mind and body rest the night before so a non-negotiable I have been doing recently and actually consistently sticking to is finishing up every workday with taking off my to-do list of the day so it feels complete it feels finalized and then brain dumping my to-do list for tomorrow so that my mind isn't still going isn't still working I can leave it at that and let myself just enjoy my evening this is a huge tip I have if you are a student if you're self-employed and your day doesn't necessarily end at 5:00 p.m. okay work is finished for the day I am now starving so I saw this recipe on Instagram by am the nutritionist and I saw beans she did thisp super green bean SE recipe that just looks so yummy I really really want to try it and I know I've got all the ingredients so we've got the workout done to-do list is done laptop is shut so before we do end it's also time to tell my home it's time to unwind do not underestimate the power of mood lighting and just getting your home all cozy with candles I love putting on an O diffuser my one is from the white company and now means that I associate that smell with the evening and winding down hearty weekday meal I think it only took me about 20 minutes to throw together it was actually quite fast I'm trying to eat more legumes in my diet they are high in protein and fiber just amazing for you for the base of this dish you need canoli beans if I'm saying that right I don't think I've ever said that word out loud I used Edam beans but I'm pretty sure normal peas are fine I just love edame and also some leak then I made this beautiful green sauce from spinach creeme fresh basil a little bit of white miso and then for the star of the show fried up two seab bass fillets and oh my gosh it was my first time making this and it for sure is now going to be one of my go-to weekday meal recipes yum that's good that is very good well mhm you guys that recipe was so so so good now for this part of my evening I like to take the time to unwind and I'm the kind of girl who like I do not like to do the relax unwind part of my evening in my clothes with my makeup on so I'm going to take all that off but before I get changed into my PJs I wanted to show you guys cuz this was my first time wearing this particular set from gym shark she made me feel so confident in the gym this is from set to the gym these leggings from their ad flat collection oh my goodness if you want leggings that are just the perfect all round leggings I'm talking squat proof sits in such a flattering way and then I also had to pick up the matching long sleeve top you see the sort of print going on there also from their adapt Fleck range this is their halter neck brallette I had to pick this up look how cute okay I don't know why but this is one of my favorite style tops like a super deep cut tank and I wanted to get this in a color that I just know is going to go with everything wanting to treat a healthy habit I have really been sticking to is getting rid of that phone an hour before I plan to go to bed plugging it into charge putting it on do not disturb and then just forgetting about it disconnecting a little [Music] bit I don't know about you but I've been hearing everywhere about the benefits of red light therapy how you got to be doing red light therapy as part of your skincare routine so I have this mask the one I use is from current body I love it it's super easy to use and you know what I've been finding doing this in the night is the perfect excuse to almost meditate and just not do anything for 10 minutes red light therapy is great for stimulating collagen production I have acne scars on my cheeks I'm trying to get rid of and so this has been recommended to me it just helps a bunch with other things improving skin texture Fine Lines Etc then okay for the mornings where I have a particularly early start I love to help my future self out by prepping some breakfast and overnight oats are the perfect quick filling breakfast to prepare it honestly takes like 2 minutes to make I just mix oats chia seeds milk yogurt I actually put too much milk in bit of Honey some raspberries into a jar and then pop in the fridge overnight only way we turn the [Music] D the C is boiling we're going to chill and watch some TV now I'm just finishing my evening skincare honestly my evening skin care is so simple I use two products my daily Dozer from skin me which if you don't know I've spoken about a lot on this channel but it's just like personalized skincare has like powerful active ingredients in it and it has been so essential for me since I've randomly started developing acne on my cheeks this has just kept it so under control and honestly like this whole year this is my first spot of the year of like all this is acne scarring this big one that's an actual spot but that's my first spot of the year so we're doing good I also feel like it is is slowly but surely helping with the acne scars cuz they're just you can see on this cheek just a little bit less prominent but yeah I let that sit for 10 minutes and then I go in with moisturizer but we're going to watch some Netflix now this is part of the evening that I really look forward to it feels honestly like the reward of every day at the end of every workday we just sit down and be little couch potatoes and it's really nice Definitely trying to get better at just like leaving my phone in the room on sleep mode cuz who needs me at half n honestly I've been finding this is like the realistic daily routine I've been doing most evenings that really does help me feel better in the morning wake up earlier not feel as sluggish when I wake up a bit earlier like tomorrow I've got an
