[Music] hey [Music] hi [Music] morning zach morning just made my fresh coffee in the old cure egg blue island coffee it's not snickerdoodle it's the breakfast blend which is my second favorite now we've been talking about this video on and off all year it took us all year to put this collection together i'm very proud of what me and my team have accomplished so grab your cup of joe let's go see one of the best cj collections available and none of these have been listed for sale yet on our website and they're all going to be listed for sale and they will be sold next year so let's start it off with the course of 1976 cj5 renegade when you walk up on this the way you can tell it's actually is a 76 is your cj5 minimum is here as to be opposed to being in the back of the side you've got a round fuel fill in the back but without a plastic bezel with just a rubber grommet you can down some pretty nitpicking stuff but that's how you can tell it's a 76 also your vent grill on top of the cow is inset which we'll move on later to see what's outside so this is the first year of the most collectible jeeps out there in my opinion which are the 1976-86 this is a renegade it is a levi's edition it does have the factory alloy wheels and a lot of people referred to as kidney bean wheels now the seats have been recovered and are not correct they're missing their correct levelized buttons what's really special about this jeep one of the reasons we pulled it out chased it and put it in the collection it's original paint so i'm not going to set my coffee on the paint even though it's got some patina and of course it is a factory v8 which is great the smog pump is still here and not locked up but not hooked up original diverter valves and air injection rails are here and a backfire valve just some really cool stuff but as you know i love low mileage jeeps and this one for 1976 is 34 838 actual miles this also has a really rare option for a 76 and then if you'll come around the other side it's got an original am radio it's very unique for 76 to 77 because it's an odd chassis size as we'll see you know the regular chassis radios started in 78. very rare to see that really nice blue levi's dash pad and the jeep is really solid it's got some surface rust in here but it doesn't have rust through and well it does have a tiny disrupts through here i'm sorry but this jeep has got a stack of service records so it's done at the same dealership for years and years and years it has recently been serviced runs and dry as well so this was actually ready to sell now the color code on this one is 6p firecracker red another way if you don't want to go through all the minutia of what your jeep is you open the hood and they haven't been hit in the front you can simply look at your emissions decal it's a lot easier it will tell you what year it is so you can see it says well that one's nicked off but bad example to start that with then we're gonna move on to 1977. inset cal vent still but the cj5 badge is not on the front when you come to the back you do still have a round fuel fill opening but you've got a plastic bezel on it this year which is different than the 76. now the color of this jeep is midnight blue metallic this is a pretty nicely optioned jeep and this tilt wheel tack clock original paint and this jeep was actually a local jeep out of plano texas one family owned since new and it is a v8 as well but we're v8 power steering and power brakes on this 77 cj5 it does not have its original missions on it it's got headers on it but this jeep does run and drive well and it has also been serviced as power steering power brakes i think this was ready for somebody else to enjoy midnight blue is a pretty rare color to see now again the seats are not original this jeep that'll be something that'll be that needs to be sourced or something like totally oe correct but two original paint cj5s 76 and 77 now this is also 77 again in set calvin the color code on this jeep is sunshine yellow this jeep has got an amazingly cool story the guy actually ordered this jeep and bought it when he got back from vietnam which it was it was late back then he ordered a v8 cj5 he just assumed that there were options on him then and i've stated in the past everything on a cj is an option so when this jeep showed up or when he came to pick it up he got there it had no soft top so this is why these are not painted to match because it had no top and had no roll bar because the salesman didn't check roll bar which is why this roll bar is black and also inside here you'll see the decal on it this has worn special equipment so this jeep literally had no top no doors no carpet no back seat and no roll bar from the factory so he ordered this stuff from the dealership and put it on same with the flares he had to put those on what's very unique about this is he lived on a huge piece of property that his mailbox was almost a mile and a half from where his house was in the center of the property once he brought this home he changed the wheels and tires too this thing had never was on the road again he only used it to go get his mail and to plow the road or get the gravel set up on his rogues it was a dirt road this jeep has 3 428 actual miles and this color is sunshine yellow and yes it's a v8 now this needs a major chassis clean engine detail and i don't think it's even ever had a major service i did drive it over here ran and drove great and again here's a cleaner emissions decal if you want to look at see what year it is it's 1977. so a sunshine yellow v8 that came from the factory with no options other than the v8 with 3 400 actual miles now here's one that's really unusual 1977 cj7 the color is tawny orange 39 years of doing this i think this is the second one i've ever seen original paint special order cj7 and it's got some neat options first thing i like for you to see is is the 60 40 seat very unusual setup almost all cj's were dual buckets in the front so that's a 60 40. this is also a t-18 jeep which is your granny low 4-speed 632-1 first gear the single crawl and climb anything it's got its original carpets in it which is unusual you rarely see that it is all original paint 33 600 miles and i believe this one is a six holder it is a six cylinder and they didn't order power brakes or power steering but it's got a t18 it's a hard top it's a very special color with low miles a really neat find now we've got another 6p firecracker red cj5 but this is a 78 this is an aftermarket chrome accessory kit which is wrong however but you can see that the vent is on top of the cowl now it's a telltale sign that you've moved into a 1978. now this has got the same color interior and same type pattern as the 77 but this has got the bucket seats in it versus the 6040 which we just saw in the tawny orange jeep original carpets are still in here radio delete plate so you've got 48 000 miles on it and this one came out of arizona and it is rust free it is original paint it's got some thinning areas patina but what a great find and again we got another t-18 four-speed which is rare that's one of the reasons i pulled this jeep and didn't put it for sale and stuck it in the collection so i believe this is also a six-cylinder t-18 like the tawny orange but this one's got power steering and power brakes so again everything on a cj was an option don't just don't assume that something was going to come on it even it was a ready gate or a golden eagle the mechanical stuff you still had to order and then you can see here 1978 missions decal if you don't want to have to run all the numbers now here's an unusual color golden eagle which is why we saved it it's called sand tan it's a cj5 golden eagle original paint it does have some patina very faded but i just thought it was really really cool six cylinder power steering no power brakes and this is also a 1978 but it is a golden eagle which was the stripe kit a very intricate stripe kit you had the huge gold eagle you had your detailed pinstripe around the grill which is a lot of fun to install we have to do it on all the restorations relatively difficult you've got your pin strapping down the side there's actually three color black white and gold now unfortunately these seats have also been recovered are not correct these should be levi's tnc's with the levi's buttons the golden eagles of course came with tack and clock and this one does have a tilt wheel which is nice this one the original radio is still in it it's an am radio which in the cj they were those were options but that am radio in this year was 232 dollars it was really expensive of course golden eagle wheels now this is one of my favorite jeeps in here and we've shown this one before and you've seen it but we haven't put it up for sale this is an arrowhead silver 1978 cj7 that had sat on their carport and the sun had just absolutely gotten to the paint bodies beautiful no rust surface rust only we cleaned it cleared it i think it's just one of the best looking patina jeeps that we've done now this is also a special order jeep and this is really really rare even you jeep guys out there that think you've seen everything this is a factory v8 power steering which is not the big deal this is a v8 with a t18 generally if you read the books and get really into the deep in the esotericness of some of the cj's the t-18 technically just came behind the six cylinder this is the only one we've ever seen talked to the guy who ordered this jeep new was also the guy that special ordered the tawny orange jeep he knew somebody at jeep was able to get a v8 with the t-18 this is a really nicely heavy heavy option jeep attack clock levi's interior correct carpet which is really really tough to find hard top hard doors just a nice jeep a real pleasure to drive and we have serviced this where we restored the wheels new set of bfgs this one's ready to go really enjoy it just turned out so cool i love it now this is what i believe actually i know is one of the finest cj5s in the world period bar none when i found this it was in beverly hills it was in an airplane hangar with a gulf stream a g5 a g6 and a black sikorsky helicopter so i talked to the guy who took care of all that stuff which i cannot mention who owned said airplanes and this jeep he said we treated that jeep with kid gloves since day one just like these jets and just like the helicopter and his boats and yachts so get there the soft top had never been installed on it wrapped up perfect and put up this jeep has got 5 000 actual miles on it and it is insanely nice the color is alpaca brown 100 original paint six cylinder power steering smog still hooked up some of the little things that you just rarely ever see this paint okay decal is still here on the early ones you almost never see that and then on the line when the guy was building the motors when they put them together they had a checklist which went on this piece of paper which rarely ever does that exist on a cj they're almost always gone and they see a tear of this jeep is just absolutely unbelievable just look at it other than the bfg's it is correct and like i said we were the first ones to put the top on this jeep you open the door to look inside the seats are look like they've never been sat in and yes the gauges are very very very crisp original radio you look at the leather knob so you've got 5 472 miles that is incredible this jeep is so nice it was so well kept one of the best finds of the year for sure now this is a local cj7 golden eagle it's got some patina some fade not as much patina to fade as the santander down there this is alpaca brown this actually was found in dallas local jeep it's power steering smog is here but it's locked up it's not working this is a 1979. we moved on from that was a i believe that was a 79 as well the cj5 was 5400 miles yep they're both 79s this is just a cool local find original paint cj7 at alpaca brown it's got one of our heritage tops on it which we do still have a few of those in stock in white and tan for cj7 probably will never be produced again by bestop the seats have been redone they're not exactly correct but they're close and they do have the correct buttons that do not say levi's because 79 would not say that and another t18 jeep or six cylinder so we've got i think four or five t18 cj's in here which is really unusual to see tilt wheel tack clock and 75 000 miles just a cool golden eagle anytime you can find an original paint golden eagle solid like that you just got to buy it now another alpaca brown jeep now opposed to a golden eagle this is a base model one you can see it doesn't have the stripe kit it doesn't have the rocker moldings of course it doesn't have gold wheels either the reason this jeep's here is it's got extremely low miles on it it is original paint it does have a little bit of rust coming through in the back and these that needs to be addressed this has got 33 000 miles on it it does have the correct original seats another thing i really like about this and it's got the original radio is it's an automatic so all the automatic cjs from 76 to 86 were spo jeeps which was special order not rpos regular production order so somebody special ordered this jeep back in the day and this color with these options is a factory v8 power steering power brake 1979 automatic with 33 000 miles pretty cool find now this is a restored silver anniversary obviously not restored by us this is a nut and bolt restoration that was done by another shop this is an example of how not to do one somebody spent a tremendous amount of money having this done they came and saw the quality of our work said i'm out i want you to do it correctly which is what we did so now we have this it is a correct real 8c quick silver 79th summer anniversary the paint on it is terrible one of the things that drives me crazy is when somebody paints the edge in the wrong color engines painted the wrong color so i mean this thing has had every nut and bolt turned and now for us to make this right which is why i pulled and stick it in here we need to blow this jeep apart motor needs go back the right color bodywork needs to be redone it needs to have correct paint on it but it is a real hc quicksilver silver anniversary jeep and it does have the correct seats in it with the right buttons well similar to the right buttons not the correct buttons again there's just attention to detail is just not there somebody just wanted this as a driver and doesn't want to pony up for the big money for a properly restored summer anniversary you know maybe this will work for you you can enjoy it and trust me is much much much cheaper than a correct one but it is a real silver anniversary cj5 now the next one was a labor of love i taught the guy that worked on this very knowledgeable mechanic he spent two years on this the body went all the way down and the body itself instead of being media blasted went into the oven which is a new process a lot of guys are doing restoration and it melts the paint off of it it doesn't damage anything all the way down the bare frame the frame is powder coated this guy spent a ton of money on this cj5 it is actually a 79 which is confusing because it's got an 8283 style stripe kit on it it's a sherwood green maybe a little bit darker which is a great color which is offered in 83 it wasn't offered at 79 but lift kit wheels and tires rock bumper chrome grill cover v8 power steering power brakes ac some billet pulleys late model ac fuel injection i mean this guy spent a lot of time and effort on this full custom cj5 now he also all cj5 not all but most cj5 hardtops were aftermarket he's color matched the doors [Applause] it's got a headline on the top so it's quieter you use real crocodile inserts in the seats just an over-the-top custom build you know big stereo again you see the ac and here's the sniper fuel injection setup i i just appreciated the amount of work that this guy did to this jeep even though it's not oe style like we normally do but there'll be somebody out there that's gonna love the quality build on this one so again a v8 cj5 custom jeep 82 slate blue metallic limited we have talked about this one before every one of these jeeps in this building we drove from columbus motors to here which is several miles except for this one because this one's got either a rod knocking or a bit pushrod or something going on the motor so we just stuck it in here it's been parked since 2004. the limited is the ultimate cj-7 it was the most expensive the highest option and the most luxurious they had the best rides that have soft ride suspension which the leafs are a little bit softer less leaves in the pack chrome front bumper special stripe kit muted slight blue paint power steering power brakes ac of course all the smog's hooked up incredibly honest jeep we found this outside of central texas i think it came out of austin but when you look inside a limited what it has above even a laredo is you've got a headliner in the hard top and the colored keyed stuff is really really cool the steering column is color keyed in slate blue the leather is color keyed the grab bar is color keyed the seats are cloth sport mirrors on the doors just on and on and on the most expensive cj7 you money can buy and this one's got 29 000 actual miles texas jeep with no rust i could go on and on forever all the special stuff on a limited but incredible to see an original 29 thousand mile one like that deep night blue 82 laredo a very rare color especially with nutmeg just stunning contrast this was a one-owner jeep until the guy i got it from bought it so teddy gets a 200 jeep but his entire life had one owner until he passed away if you look at this blue with the nutmeg it just goes together so well there's low miles on this jeep 42 000 miles came with some good documents it does have some fade in the paint a little patina on it but wow what a great great special find of course be an 82 it's most likely going to be the six cylinder because 81 was last year the v8 could have been a four cylinder but this is a six cylinder power steering power brakes now this jeep we have not serviced so you can see the air cleaner is dirty the carburetor is dirty it needs to be tuned it has sat for a while but a very rare color combination in low miles this one i just love the story on this jeep i chased it for a long time but they wanted crazy money for it it's an 83 cj5 which is a last year as you know the lowest production year they were very very rare this was advertised in the denver newspaper in 1983 as the last cj5 ever built and also in the ad it said it had a special serial number so come look at this you got a five in all zeros how cool is that now i cannot prove that story nor could they because there are later seal numbers in that it may just be a coincidence that it has that serial number it may not be but this was advertised as the last cj5 built the person that bought it new the entire time they owned it believed that this was the last one ever built it's 9b it's olympic white black interior these were all the 83 cj5s were the same mechanically all of them there was no four cylinders and they were all 258 six owners with a t176 four speed all of them really cool jeep it's power steering power brakes and again here's your 83 on the decal of course you can tell that a bit as well i was excited to get this jeep it took me several years to talk about it because i had such a high value on it being the last door built i can't prove that but definitely worthy of being in here somebody's going to want this in their collection it does have some rough spots in it that need to be repaired but overall very honest 83. black denim seats of course you know like i said t-176 four-speed center console original carpets are in here whenever i find an 83 cj5 i try to buy it we have i do have several other ones but i thought this was the most special one out of what i have currently this was kind of a neat find base model cj7 um just bucket seats in the front no rear seat no top low miles it's got 19 500 miles on it it's a four-cylinder so these are your base wheels what you would have gotten if you didn't get a renegade on the radio and even under the hood they didn't check any of the boxes no power steering no power brakes just a 19 000 mile base 1984 cj7 and it's also the same color as that [Music] the 9b white this is a 4c ice blue 1984 scrambler also a local jeep original paint it's faded what's really rare about this is special order automatic hard top hard doors nicely optioned air conditioning and power steering and power brakes now this one is already sold it has a really special buyer i don't know if they're going to let us say who it is but if they do we'll tell you that it is later silver metallic is the paint color again a very basic jeep no top no doors 30 000 original miles just a base jeep i believe this is also a four cylinder yes it is no power steering no power brakes now i'm going to take a break for a second because i'm going to push these out because we need to be able to get around to show you some special options on them [Music] thank you for waiting i had to get another cup of joe so we left off we were about to walk up on one of my favorite jeeps in the collection even though i love them all we had previously talked about the deep night blue laredo with the nutmeg top well even rarer than that as far as color combination for a loreno this is the only one i've ever seen and it might be the only one in existence 1984 silver metallic the nutmeg interior nutmeg top laredo definitely special order jeep stunning you see the gold tint the hard top tilt wheel five speed t5 low mileage jeep the one family owns from new with 33 000 miles we have not serviced it this is just how we found it what a stunning color combo it looks awesome power steering power brakes again it's a 1984 silver metallic nutmeg interior loreno i don't know if it gets much better than that again we haven't serviced it yet we haven't detailed it but a 33 000 mile probably one of the only ones that exist next we've got a 1985 scrambler in garnett metallic it's a nice jeep it's not completely done it's got the incorrect steering wheel missing a mirror head but it is straight paint's nice obviously very very rare being an 85 renegade scrambler it's got the correct rear bumper on it robot mounted spare which is really neat to see don't want to set that down on the black scrambler that's for sure again it's garnet metallic what a killer combo power steering power brakes crews very very few 85 renegade scramblers exist another 85 scrammer and p1 classic black that was really really excited to see we built this in 2006 so it was 15 years ago at a cost of fifty six thousand dollars to duplicate this jeep now you'd be looking at well north of a hundred thousand dollars so it's p1 classic black you can see how our paint is held up it's absolutely phenomenal but this is a custom build a customer spec we've got weld alloy wheels worn front rear bumpers that we triple nickel chrome plated worn winch peel lights then under the hood which i really like this is this is a 4.2 motor but it's got the mopar mpi fuel injection setup which was designed by hesco built for mopar which later came on the yj's and tj's so it just runs fantastic and this jeep has got power steering ac of course you know monster lift extended flares side bars custom roll bar custom cage inside corbeau seats just on and on and on it's a really extensive build that we did 15 years ago i love to see the quality of how our work has stood the test of time again you can see the rear worn bumper with the swing out tire carrier that was triple nickel plated 15 years ago cool to have this one back in our arsenal if you will 85 laredo cj7 of course garnett metallic again it's going to be a low mileage jeep 35 000 actual miles i mean look at the condition of the interior highly optioned tilt wheel and you can see right here it's got cruise control t5 5 speed another garnet metallic and color jeep which was very popular back in the day still got its original martial lights on it power steering power brakes what else i like about this jeep is when you open the hood you see the serpentine belt it's california jeep it's gonna be rust free 35 000 miles great find this one you guys did see this was our best cj7 find of the year one owner from new dark honey metallic with honey interior 86 renegade wow y'all saw the video here's something that you just don't see every day americana mats in that color great option jeep t5 5 speed tilt wheel it does run and drive like brand new when we picked it up it was dead in the water here's something that's really really special i want you guys to see this is an early 86 so it's a model 20 rare and it does not have the data 44. the serial number on this jeep is the 70th one built however that's the 70th one vend so when you ordered your cj they punched the vin numbers but that wasn't specifically how they built them you know the 70th jeff could have been the first jeep on the assembly line built look at this these rarely exist so this is the built date of 919 of 85 which is going to make it about as early as you're going to see on the cj7 but you got your car id number which is a sequence it was going down the assembly line and look at this number one which would make this the first 1986 cj7 ever built not the first one the vin or the first one ordered but the first one off the assembly line 5500 actual miles this jeep is just stunning dark honey metallic is a rare color power steering you even got your cooling system paper tag here original clamps original hoses on and on and on this is our best find of the year like i said all these jeeps are going to be sold and we'll start the collection over garnet metallic base model 86 cj7 what's nice about this jeep is it has garden interior as well that's just in beautiful condition now the negative on this jeep is it's got some rust in it you can see here the driver's floor has got it has a has had a big patch put in it but the reason i chased it i wanted it 6 400 actual miles on it on an 86 garnet red on red runs and drives excellent but it does need some rust repair it was used as a plow jeep and we haven't surfaced it needs some detailing and cleaning but it is an 86 and this is a model 20. medium blue metallic 1986 which is a stunning color and what's neat when you walk up to this jeep you see the base wheels in the back if you see this where you can see the axle itself and not your cap like this here you know you have walked up and found a lasso great breed dana 44 jeep which is what that is medium blue which is a crazy rare color beautiful metallic black denim interior very nice shape the amount of record service records this jeep has might be the most i've ever seen on the cj the previous owner serviced this jeep religiously it's probably this tall jeep's got 88 000 miles on it it is a t5 it does have its last or great breed plaque like i said it is a dana 44 is an original paint jeep with the exception of the doors the doors were stolen off of it at some point time in its life they got oe doors paint them they didn't match but what a great find medium blue 86 last a great breed dana 44 jeep or six cylinder power steering really really cool such a great color then we've got another 86 laredo garnet soft top not a hard top jeep also with really good miles 59 000 miles tilt wheel t5 5 speed so 59 000 mile jeep which is why it's here nice nice miles it does need some paint touch up runs and drives well [Music] six cylinders had a weber carburetor conversion power steering power brakes hei conversion aluminum valve cover so this thing's had quite a bit of service work done to it but a 1986 garnet loreno which you just can't pass up at 86 loreno period this is also one of my favorite jeeps in the collection and then it's a base model jeep it's just very very nice original correct jeep base model and tier in 86 would have had the cj embossed in the back of the seat which it does now you can't see what rear ends in it from the side you can call it on the back but it's got a slasher great beauty plaque and this is a color code 4m charcoal metallic with 29 000 miles this jeep has been serviced i've driven it several times it is ready to be enjoyed killer cj and last but not least a 4m charcoal metallic 1986 laredo stunning combo too for laredo got 45 000 miles on it t5 just a really really nice low mileage 4m charcoal metallic laredo 1986. power steering power brakes and there you have it our top 28 cj finds of the year y28 so we can only fit 28 in here i hope you enjoyed that as much as i did now got something super special for you in the food segment if i can find alex alex you here yeah okay i got something for you and these have not been
