My Luckiest Minecraft Speedrun...

yo everyone what's going on curryway here and in this video i got a pb in minecraft 1.7 speedrunning and it was the luckiest speedrun i've ever had minecraft speedrain is split into three main categories versions 1.8 and below 1.9 to 1.15 and 1.16 plus 1.8 and below is the category i struggle with the most and my old pb of 36 minutes 45 seconds was awful by my standards so my last couple streams were focused on finally beating it and i did that by over six minutes which i was super happy about if you guys enjoyed this video i'd be happy to make another explaining 1.7 in more detail in the future and going over strategies but all you need to know if you're clueless is that bastions don't exist yet strongholds are much closer and i'm going to build a giant tower in the middle of a desert to reset enemy spawns for ender pearls if you want more info i'll leave an faq in the description as well for you to check out i think 1.7 speedruns are super fun to watch and i hope you do too just like improvised i was like oh well if i can't see it in like this 80 of the fortress it has to be in this twenty percent of the fortress it's hidden so i go there i go to this like twenty percent of the fortunes hidden i get my rods like pretty fast i think i went like six or ten or something like good rates but not like insane or anything and i was leaving the nether at like nine minutes so i was like all right this is pog left another at like 9 9 10 9 15 go to a spot to tower up i'm like super happy i'm like this this could be it this this could be the run um and then you know what happened you know what happened you know what happened uh i made my tower and i insta died like made my first tower like made my tower came down for my first drop and i saw enterman i got knocked off the tower with all my stuff and i had to like waste two minutes like actually getting all my stuff back so i like killed my good pace and i was very sad it was unlucky i made a i made a very poor decision but hey i won't do that today then and it wasn't like like the the the start of the run was godly but like after like i didn't have enough i had i had six beds when i was digging down which is like okay but like i'd prefer like seven or eight and then i practice just betting for the rest of the day which i feel pretty comfortable with too um and i had no feathers it's zero zero chicken wait why am i oh perfect we're just going to put this in there um cool and then we can do this that's uh one two three four i'm starting five i got my flint cool give me this five this is six seven eight i need one more beautiful fog you grab this and let's dip [Music] oh i i totally saw that by the way um all right let's smelt this up i can go there that can go there yo rapids thank you so much animal on fire but yeah i think i think iron pick is is more important um like you're always going to wood light unless you're in a magmar beam if you're in a magma ravine you're kind of just screwed um but if you're doing like village strats and you do cod plus three iron i think you make the iron pick every time all right that's at least like enough food jordan is actually banger and you just need a lava pool um i'll kill these because i can smell the food all right go inside pog i'm focused up right now this run is actually pretty solid i just need lava um okay where's my lava please game please please please [Music] lava i don't see any lava this is looking a bit sad now oh god still try and play out tower if i can get it here what's up latham howdy i'm mad scientist thank you oh here's lava wait pog um where do i make my tower hello i was just talking about yesterday you get less ghost buckets in this version and just get ghost bucketed out the wazoo um this is gonna have to either be insanely fast or it's secondary um just want to see if there is a fortress yeah there is okay so we go that way second day right yeah we just go there um i see the blade spawner i don't want to risk it because i just want to get a good tower spot that is pretty pog all right chad we gotta run we got a good run here we got a good run here um i don't know what's happening there but okay um i don't want to make my tower i guess i go this way this isn't like super ideal but it's not awful uh that's boom two three four uh bed this boom boom oh one two four [Music] um okay nice power time if you're confused it'll make sense in a second okay let's go how should i practice this this chaos tower uh this isn't chaos tower i practice ks tower is zero this spot is like the spot is like good it's not perfect this river is kind of in the way but otherwise it's a good spot 1.9 is weird yes it is it is very weird why not start training chaos tower because i am not going for world record in this category and chaos tower is like a world record thing you don't even need chaos tower for world record still it's just like it's just a good strat for anyone that's like why aren't you learning chaos tower you go learn chaos tower and then and do you go try to learn cast tower and then you will understand why i'm not going for chaos tower the strategy here for anyone not aware is you tower up and it's going to reset mob spawns aka enderman and that is going to allow you to spawn a lot of endermen and try and kill them we just gotta wait for the mobs to start spawning which is now this is not looking good on the end of the counter i'm just gonna drop hopefully it like starts to reset all right i see at least one uh one two four q drop in here food is definitely an issue but it's not like awful there's one one for two all right walk forward here yeah there we go there's the spawns there we go okay pog oh i fell okay whatever that's fine [Music] we got string two plug you one for three this is looking pretty good actually i'm getting super fast spawns um there's two there okay okay cool that's my string which is really good so i have my string i'm set on everything i just need pearls i got my string nothing uh let me put that in there all right what do we got uh show me enderman thank you just two that's fine there's the pearl give me one more here hog you yeah this is this is literally like first run of the day and it's looking a little spicy it doesn't count if you beat it in a tournament holy cow oh my god dude wait a second i gotta go pick up pearls like after this
