My GT3 RS Has Arrived!

I'm at Porsche Center Reading 7 months ago I came here and ordered my dream car a 9911 GT3 RS and now finally it's arrived and I'm here to collect it and to reveal to you exactly what spec I went for I'm so excited let's do [Music] it here we go then I've come to get my car but before we do I just want to like chill a little bit and just take in some of the surroundings so obviously we got like the 75 there to about 75 years of Porsche we got loads of cars here including look at this this isn't mine by the way it's one that they currently have up for sale pre-owned and at the moment it's up for around £450,000 quite like this gray what do you think about it we'll find out if I've got that spec or whether mine's as nice or not as nice as that in a moment anyway let's head around here 911 Carrera love this car it's basically all the 911 you really need though I've G the whole hog Haven I if you got a knen why don't you get a tent for the top of it look at that now I probably would normally go and have a coffee wait for the salesman to turn up I'm too excited I don't need any more kind of energy now I'm going to head this way because my car is in a special Handover room what color will I've gone for this is ice gray metallic this is one of the ones I was thinking about but did I go for it so my car is through those doors should we do it let's do it here it is then my new 911 GT3 RS which is in a bag in a bag this is Harry here's a Salesman and my new best friend now exactly it's been quite a few months but the day has finally arrived and this is your usual Handover Bay here at Porsche reading but I'm having a slightly different experience to normal slightly different usually itd be under nice silky cover but today is a bit different yeah cuz I want to do like an unboxing unbagging video to reveal the spec I didn't spec the car with you I spec it with Cameron Cameron left is traveling around the world and then you took over and you were having to deal with like is it ready yet is it ready yet is it ready yet how long but here we go and I'm sure it's going to be worth the wait let's start unboxing it shall we and the first thing I'm going to reveal is the wheels so here we go look absolutely awesome I've gone for gold wheels now I did like it with red wheels and I've seen press with blue wheels look really good but I don't think they' gone with the paint that I've col no so shall we reveal the should we uh should we get it open yeah let's do it so look at this come around you do that bit get the other half here we go this is the paint I've gone for it is GT silver GT silver just like the Cup racing cars I actually drove a press car GT silver and loved it and it was like awesome col I want a similar spec to that not entirely the same but we'll get on to that in a bit so we need to show it because it hasn't revealed the full spec yet so what do we do let's do it from the front we you get that side okay I get this side yeah let's try and take the covers off so oh oh oh you know what I've got a GoPro in my pocket I'm going to film me doing some of this there we go got it yeah got it oh I like the bumper right this next thing will reveal something else about the car if we can see if I can get under there catch there we go we can reveal that it has no boot one of the problems with the GT3 RS and I think this now reveals something else about the car you see that you know what those carbon fiber stripes mean viac pack I'll say viac correctly but not Porsche por weird I want to do this bit this this is for me to do after I'm paying all the money i't said that I'm going to need some help I might need to get the other side for you right I'll take it all back Harry I need your help again this is harder than I expected it really is I can see why you don't let normal customers do this it's sort of affects the experience do you reckon I can keep this and then I don't need to pay for a car cover you might have struggled to put it back on I think I'll buy there we go finally let me get all this crap out of the way there we go let just put this don't we got there we got there and here it is look you can finally see it look at that wow I'm so pleased with the color I prefer it than the gray one out there everyone thinks it's boring they're wrong I mean look at it just works so well with the contrasting trim the gold wheels carbon fiber so well it's quite funny when I first came in and I saw it in the bag it's but now I can see it in all its glory and all the shapes and the lines on it and the detail so there's another spec I can reveal on it you might have seen it already carbon ceramic brakes so there's a bit of a story with these and the visc pack as well so originally when I got the allocation and the build slot I was told that I couldn't have carbons or bisac for some reason there supply issues it yeah Supply issue yeah but I held off I wasn't sure I like should I just should I just take the car then I can have it sooner um and it was a real tough decision for me but I thought you know this this is a car I want to keep for a long time I want it the spec I want it definitely so I waited unfortunately the slot came up not too long after a couple of months yeah it was only a few months after was it yeah so got that slot so they delayed it a bit at first but then it got further delayed for some other reasons due to the interior interior few yeah bits and pieces but and a holiday at the German Factory yeah 3 we that didn't help things no but oh wow I think it's time to to maybe check out the interior okay right let me just open this door cuz there's something a bit weird going on here what's this it's all for the PDI few bits of trim you got the spare key oh yeah all right need that front PL uh plate plint don't want that don't want any holes screwed into the few bit trim there suppose this is because they might get knocked off when when you hav it transited potentially got a few more there as well someone will fit the for me right they will indeed okay so put those over there do you know what I want to do now here we go a yeah it's like Christmas that felt so good I can't get it off is it not touch to you amazing oh inside we're going to be inside in a second first thing we got to talk about though is the price obviously I've got visak I've got carbon ceramics the actual list price of this car with options is £ 222,000 yes do you take cash no I Haven got cash not physical cash not physical cash and I'm not going to be paying for it with a bank transfer either I'm going to be obviously using Finance to pay for this car I've come to Charles and Dean finance and I'm here with co-founder Tom Perkins and we're going to work through my deal to find out what Finance I'm going to be paying on the car each month tell me a little bit about your business we specialize in tailoring funding products for specialist cars so some other Finance providers just generic ones will use a price which probably isn't reflective of the true future value of the car exactly I mean the GT3 RS is a great example of a car that is holding its value very well is very desirable and we can therefore structure a deal that maximizes that future value potential we always want to try and strike a compromise between the cost of borrowing and your cash flow budget so we need to ensure that we structure a deal which is going to have to have a balloon payment in it which which is naturally going to increase the cost of it but it will ensure that we're within within budget so essentially I've told you what I can afford your team go away work out the best deal for me in my circumstances taking into account the car why I can afford per month and getting me the lowest interest payments based on those parameters correct that's why I came to these guys it's like a bespoke service like getting a suit tailored especially for your own body rather this bit of velcro oh yes here we go wow you might already be spotting some of the speck that I've gone for in the bisac pack here with the Alcantara Dash sorry RAC Tech Race Tech race techs that's what it's called this bit this is so much fun the guys who do pdis must have all the fun look even in here oh h blim me that was hard work I've got aluminium pedals and I've also just noticed that the brake pedal seems to be carbon fiber the support for it let's have a look at sitting in my brand new car for the first time and there's something I want to do right it's part of the visc pack which is one of the main reasons I wanted to BAC which seems bizarre but it's this magnetically actuated gearshift paddles just feel so much better when you change gear compared to the standard setup wow Alcantara sorry race Tex on the dash what's this look it's my manual wonder if I'll ever read that obviously well for the running in procedure what's this Harry I might need a hand I think that's the FR splitter mate SP yeah okay what else we got in here we've got oh look racing harnesses what else we got that was obviously on the dials we on the dials in a moment what's this what is [Applause] this I've got another fire extinguisher yeah that's right why have I got two are these cars known to go on fire or something I wasn't expecting that see the customer wouldn't see this would they it' all just be prepped in their car W yeah and then oh yes look at this it's my mats I think I SPC these as well I'm not did I do you know what we probably need to run through the spec in a moment talk through what I got Porsche mats look this is the most ramshackle video for such an important car and an important video for my channel I Blame You Allie behind the camera there nothing to do with me but but I wanted you to just be able to see what it's like and wraping one of these things let's get the passenger seat off now there's a little thing to undo here there we go and then there we are we are Harry this is not in your job spec is it sorry need to move on to the roll cage it's carbon fiber so obviously they protect it they must take them as long to I mean pack the car as it does to build it you got it get this out of there there we go I think we've done it I'm still determined to get these pedal things off all right that's that one I think I finally got it oh yeah got it yeah those pedals look nice oh right I'm exhausted now let's talk through some of the speck in here so I've got my order form here the cost options I've had fitted start with the club sport package with additional road legal fire extinguisher that was £135 and then I got Vice package £ 25,732 But it includes these the Magnesium Wheels carbon fiber roll cage carbon fiber parts on the suspension and you got the exposed carbon fiber on the roof obviously the race Tex yeah interior what else have I got so I got white rev counters 245 really pleased with that almost had it in yellow to match the yellow of the steering wheel and the yellow bits here but white really just pings doesn't it and white sports Chrono to match 245 as well then I have Porsche loger LED door courtesy light so when you open the door it's oh I can see it look that cost me £101 okay okay then we have the front axle LIF system got quite a steep drive going to need that that is 2,214 then the POR sheric brakes got to have those on the car like this £ 6,498 tinted LED main headlamps with Matrix beam top of the range lights which will blank out part of their beam when you got oncoming drivers so at night they are so good aw I almost inspect them but then I thought pay all this money why not I really like them on press cards get them on your own car £ 2,487 then I've got exclusive design tail lights I just think they look better with the GT silver like the smoke tail lights rather than the red which you get as standard £590 and I've also very important the Press car I had didn't have this it didn't have a reversing camera just needed yeah the reversing camera £ 876 it's quite a lot and it's not even surround is it then I've had the light design package which was £354 so you get seven different colors of ambient lighting inside the car I sort of forgot what that was that's you that's probably Cameron's fault I didn't mean to thater ah this is important love this seat belts in silver gray really do help lift the cabin that was £194 but well worth it I almost went for like a Larry interior like a red one but I just thought you know what let's keep it sort of like yeah classy you know it's got massive Wing right but somehow this car still looks classy okay what else have we got these are the things that I think may have held up the car for a month or so the sun visor in race Tex yeah oh actually here's another thing to just quickly unbox there we are right so they match the headliner though they match the headliner otherwise they're what plasticky uh not plasticky but yeah like slightly different feel that' be insane that they're just waiting to finish the car cuz of these and if I had known that i' have gone don't bother just get me the car then there's those pedals in aluminium which oh yes worth it you never see them but you know your feet on something better bit more expensive £45 and then something that I think is well worth it bow sound system £ 1,2 so in total I spent about £41,000 on optional extras on this car obviously the main one BAC and carbon Ceramics but wow really pleased with this spec just want to check something I don't know if I'm going to do this yet I'm a bit of a weirdo that when I buy a new phone and you got like the screen protector on it like I could whip that off but I'm I'm probably not going to I'm going to leave that on the pddi just in case you yeah just in case with the PDI they they scratch something obviously they won't video for later but I'm just going to keep that on there anyhow what do you think of my spec in here looks stunning really really nice would you go for viac yes yeah 100% And must on the 3 RS just for that that feel honestly it's all about that there's a few more things that I need to just un peal to fully unbox my car so let's crack on with that let's do the final bit of unboxing so satisfying right what else we got here on the inside come around this way okay I don't know where to go thankfully I don't have to do those blooming pedals again who oh no messed this up it oh no okay and this more more yes lovely and then I'll do these door bits here and this bit again and then I think the interior is done look at that hope someone's going to come and clean this up afterwards Harry sure they will right okay I think is that it is there anything else what do you re ah look one more one more now I want to be careful with this oh beautiful and this is why I don't want to put a front number PL PL on it because it just rins look obviously that's where the splitter goes isn't it yeah yeah on the bottom right and let's just have one last look at it obviously we need to get those out of there but that looks like hard work window triangle carbon oh yeah didn't notice that and obviously carbon door mirrors carbon roof carbon exposed yeah looks really really good and of course the badge sprayed on to save weight it's painted it's not actually a badge is it no I am really really pleased about this listen I've got to say huge thanks to Harry for dealing with me for the p g has how many month problem at all well on the phone is it ready yet how long is it going to be what's happening why has it been pushed back all that kind of stuff but finally we're here we've got the car yeah few more days left few more days you guys are going to PDI it get it all ready and then I'll be taking it away thanks so much for your help much and thank you very much toing really really appreciate it one last thing yes the keys I got them where are they they're in the key covered inside we wait let's go get the keys a few moments later here we go right finally you know what let's stand there pretend oh don't drop them good catch though let's try again so all I need now are the keys there we go yay we got there we got there oh they say RS on them oh really H so slightly different it's definitely the right key this is my gc3 RS you joined me about 4 days later since I revealed the car and you know what I was so excited about what was going on I forgot to actually started and just went home while the guys that por did the PDI they've now done the PDI and so I'm going to start the car for the very first time right here we go my new 911 GT 3 RS let's have a listen I'm not going to rev it cuz it needs running in but have a listen to [Music] this oh yeah 4 L
