my first week of COLLEGE vlog!

[Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] to see [Music] see why does she make that alarm sound why do you think that sounds because i can't wake up to the other one that is the most terrifying sound ever we have quite quite a day ahead it's 7 00 am right now drinking my coffee i'm gonna be getting ready now because erin wanted to have a cute little brunch with all of her roommates and ella and i celebrate the first day of classes i don't have any live online ones today they're all just like do it at your own pace so we're gonna go over there at 8 30 and dress up and have a cute little breakfast before we get classes started [Music] his name just got you [Music] i want to start off this week by talking about pandora who is partnering with me on this video i'm so excited because i have been such a fan of pandora for years and we were always gifting cute little charm bracelets to my aunts and grandmas and we got one for my mom for mother's day one year so i want to talk about some of the new items i've gotten really into wearing jewelry in the past probably six months-ish i never used to but i've just been like zero to 100 with it i love wearing rings and earrings and i just think it adds such a fun element to any outfit it can really help to bring out you and you can style it however you want so the pandora icons collection is some of what i'm going to be wearing today for brunch and for school you don't have to sit around in your pajamas and do school i mean you can and i'm probably going to for some of it but it's also fun to do whatever makes you happy and if dressing up and sitting with full glamon on your zoom class makes you most happy do whatever makes you feel good so basically the pandora icons collection here i want to talk about for a second and show you the magnetic clasp snake chain bracelet here look how beautiful this is these are some of the new charms that are also out right now we have the pattern open heart charm right here and some of the other really really cool ones in the collection and you basically can just unclasp it here i'm gonna go ahead and put this on perfect perfect little accessory for my day why am i doing that i'm also going to be wearing the triple band snake chain ring here so i love to wear a lot of rings and layer them and i love how this one looks as if you're layering them but it comes as like a package one so it's literally all connected i'm also going to be throwing on these snake chain pattern earrings here i love just how dainty and adorable they are so part of the launch of the icons collection is to honor the 20 years of the pandora moments bracelet and that was a charm bracelet that i was giving to a lot of people in my life where you can get the charms that you want for it that represent how much they mean to you the fact that it's a 20-year celebration is so cool so i feel amazing in my new icons collection for my first day classes and to honor you know all these crazy new first-time experiences in my life that was literally so much fun it's really sad to think that it's her last first day of school and my first first day of college i have some more charms that i've added on here to my snake chain bracelet i want to talk about a couple of the charms on here and why i chose them and how they're special to me i have one of a graduation cap here and that one reminds me of the hard work i put into graduating high school and it being you know online and under very different circumstances than the normal graduation i also have one of becky here look at this reminds me of my first time officially living away from her and that one's really sad but looking down and seeing the charm of her helps to remind me that she's doing great with the family and i always have a little piece of her with me i also have one that says sisters here and that one helps to remind me of my first time living with erin in a whole new city and having her here is just so so special and something that i will literally remember forever and then we have my favorite one that i want to talk about today which is this bad boy right there it has the cute little books on it and it says 2020. that reminds me of my first day classes which is today i'm so grateful to have this to remind you of all these very monumental firsts in my life i'm gonna go back and start my spanish 101 i will let you know when i get back and how it goes [Music] hi my name is ellie and i am from phoenix arizona and a freshman at the university of arizona we've officially finished our first day of college that's so weird it is several hours later we did so much spanish i have everything written down all assignments it was kind of an easier day just because it's really doing like the syllabus stuff and kind of just writing out due dates so we did all that [Music] wait hair clips who what ella you're genuinely screaming am i in a dream are you wearing this what are you doing hair ties no seriously you're talking about the hair ties and in the parking garage what are you saying [Music] so basically we went to starbucks this morning and they had the fall drinks listed and i think it's the first day of it because we have not seen that yet and so i got pumpkin spice latte with coconut milk and cold foam oh wow oh so good [Music] i have not gotten ready today yet but i don't think i'm really going to i think it's just comfy day we're going to go work out in a second but i'm wearing another one of my pandora charm bracelets here and i have some really cool charms i want to talk about so i first have hashtag ellie going across so that's really fun they have all the letters so you can write out whatever you want and then i also have a scorpio one and i'm so into like the zodiac and then another first time that i want to talk about today was here's one of earth which is really crazy and it's reminding me of all my first times going out of the country for the first time which was in 2018 it's good to remind us that i'm really grateful for traveling memories and experiences i've been able to have and they're things that i will remember forever i have my english this morning and i'm a really good teacher which is nice i have my other class starting today as well for my communication major so cheers so before we work out i just made myself a quick little breakfast here so this cinnamon raisin bread is gluten free and it is from sprouts and then i just put this dairy free butter spread on top that with a cut up nectarine here all right let's work [Music] they out me mister tibs [Music] i just walked 2.5 miles and that went by so fast because i just faced on my mom and was updating her it's really good to talk to her i got to see becky but i'm all finished up here i want to go back to the dorm and make some lunch and then we have a group project called me and ella are in like the same class with another one of our friends so we're gonna do that drive back and see you there i need to go get ice time for coffee we've been doing school for like an hour and we're getting really overwhelmed and she is her chemistry lab so we're gonna make some coffee [Music] i'm a bit concerned how hard this syllabus is i'm out of bananas thank you the store get more hi can i place an order for pick up um can i get an avocado rule and then can i please do um the veggie roll we actually have recruitment videos to watch because we're doing it this [Music] weekend [Music] good morning everybody so happy wednesday we are halfway through the week i am just grabbing some starbucks here before i go do a quick little workout and then go back to the dorm and grind out all my schoolwork other than that the only thing i'm really looking forward to today is making tacos later and maybe going grocery shopping because we're out of coffee in the dorm so this is my moment to encourage you to do something kind today for someone love paying for the person behind me whenever i go to starbucks i just think whenever someone has done that for me it genuinely can like turn my entire day around that is my little encouragement of the day thank you so much well i'm gonna drink my coffee and hit the hit the gym not the gym but you know what i what's going on i don't think i can turn you this is really awesome i woke up at 11 o'clock i ain't got no job what the hell let's go um hi so we just got ready here and decided to get some fresh air do you see that raindrop it's literally raining oh we're like really open i mean they're really heavy raindrops talking about my jewelry today so i have some more charms and these might be my favorite ones these ones are all like travel related which makes me really happy i have like a cute little suitcase eiffel tower right here which reminds me of my first time going to paris and i really wish i was there right now oh we got a pizza one that's pretty pretty quirky down there my hair is going to get destroyed now and i just work really hard on it how long can brussels sprouts last before they go bad you see i have no idea like i just kind of got them i have no sense of time here yeah we know we've been here for five years well we're gonna eat them and see how i feel i really don't know how good these brussels are but basically i'm just whipping up a black bean quinoa burger and some cut brussels here so i'm gonna go throw this in the kitchen delicious [Music] [Music] all right everybody it is a couple hours later and we have finished school for the day it was also another easy day of class just with it all being basically going over the syllabus but i want to talk about what i'm wearing today because i've dressed myself up here to go take some fun pictures i know erin's kind of having a rough day so we wanted to go out get some fresh air so i'm wearing the pandora moments t-bar snake chain bracelet here i have some other really cute charms on it but the one that i want to mention today is this heart here that says family on it and i'm missing my family a little bit extra today so to look down and know i have a little piece of them with me is really really cool and someone stole my pan i made dinner last night and i let it cool and i probably should have gone later but i honestly ate and then fell right asleep and this morning it was gone so when you go to target later and get a new pan so i'm really upset about that that's basically it let's let's go cheering up can i please do a grande iced chai tea but can i have soy milk in that thank you so much okay everybody tonight is taco night so it's gonna be a lame taco night because i thought i got more for it basically we're gonna make tofu tacos and some refried beans right here i'm gonna get this all situated and then go put it in the kitchen to cook [Music] happy friday we are to the last day of this first week of classes it went by honestly really fast and i know it's only gonna get harder but you know we can do it and we just got to stay positive it's really all about the mindset i am over here at the back house right now yes i'm in a bed i got a lot of questions as to why i have a bed here when i said it was for like an office space which basically a lot of people still seem a little bit confused with my living situation so i kind of want to clear up i am living at the dorm as you guys have seen this back house here is for work and for filming and to be able to upload i have really good wi-fi that we set up now here and it also has a place for us to work out because obviously we're trying to stay safe and it was an empty space that my sister had for her senior house which is literally right over there and so it just made sense because my lease in l.a did not make sense to have anymore it was really expensive for no reason especially if i wasn't going to be living there and so to be able to just move all that la stuff here rather than put it in a storage unit and pay a lot of money it just worked out so let's start this friday i swear one of these times i'm going to walk and there's going to be like a snake inside my head oh god it's running away it's scurrying [Music] attempting to carry laundry groceries this walk literally is terrible from the parking garage to the dorm whenever we have groceries or laundry it's 111 degrees okay we just got back and rearranged the entire fridge here is what she looks like so i got this new coffee that i've not tried yet but aaron really likes it and it's the starbucks medium rust i'll let you know in my like next vlog or something how this tastes but i'm just drinking this well i'm gonna spill it first i'm drinking my favorite celsius berry drink and i'm gonna fold up my laundry that we just did we definitely got a later start to the school day but had to do all those errands we were completely out of food cheers let's get some stuff done we have just whipped up a little snack here of a gluten-free everything bagel a portobello mushroom and i mean the onion looks a little much there but super super easy to make so good [Music] so basically we have a bunch of recruitment stuff tomorrow so we decided to stay in and make ourselves a little cheese board but dorm edition i'm using the e um board that my grandma got me for graduation and we just did some olives the vegan cheese cashews crackers and an apple so i was self-tanning in the back so keeping that away from her can you imagine also i'm aware this cheese isn't locked or there's something with it oh she's good delicious the last charm that i want to talk about for this week since i've talked about one basically each day is the little cactus one let me do a little close-up here look how cute it's a little potted cactus basically this one to me represents living here now first time living in tucson aka the desert i mean i've always lived in the desert but a different city in the desert and i love looking at that one it will always remind me of moving down here so that is basically it i'm gonna eat my cheeseburger now college me and my bed right now this is such an awkward setup am i being so great oh wow okay this is this is something basically it's freezing in here and we're gonna go to bed now the organization that i want to talk on this video that i was seeing bdm to me she's actually volunteered there before so i was gonna have her talk about it basically project cure takes old medical supplies and donates it to countries that need it how was your experience volunteering there oh yeah they're super nice there tons of medical supplies very
