Murdering INTEL ARC A770 with Cities Skylines II [1080p|1440p]

ah well hello graphic K family welcome back to another this time quick video and uh what we'll be testing today is actually City Sky lines too I've got lots of requests on Discord and even some private messages to test and murder our Intel RK 770 with this game so uh yeah that's what we are going to do today I got it on Xbox Game Pass so yeah let's do it I found a safe file where there's a population of about 10,000 in there and lots of big cities so uh we'll use that because I don't have time to build the whole city and everything so uh we'll just use a Sav game from online which we got uh we got here at the graphic settings okay you can see we have SIMPLE and advanced uh shower resolutions doesn't do really much at my end I wanted to check Fork hey but uh it's not available on our monitor so uh yeah what we'll be testing today is actually low medium high preset very low preset but without uh Dynamic resolution scale so uh it will be running all at a native uh to know that I will be testing out this resolution scaler in the game but just for a quick little bit because it doesn't bring much improvement see guys here we have 100,000 people in this city let's see what we'll get now currently we're running at a very low preset without any Dynamic resolution will we be able to handle about 60 FPS at 1440p without the resolution sking okay okay it's a big city currently there's a night out and uh some cars are running here and there as you can see but not much going on maybe we should uh double speed this so we get to the daytime ah it will take ages so uh let's just review the nighttime um this will be a quick video like I said I don't really have time right now to fully taste this game but I heard it's really CPU and GPU limited because look at this our inter RK 770 at a very low preset 1440p we are not getting 100% utilization CPU also about 50% utilization so uh yeah the game does really need optimization I don't know haven't checked much of other people's videos on what they think on the city skylines but uh yeah I mean very low preset 1440p we get around 30 FPS which I for this kind of game I think it's a playable experience not that it looks good or anything but uh I mean the core functions are working uh I'm not sure how this game compares to the first one I heard it's worse in the first city skylines because of some picture quality issues and other stuff but don't take my word for it is just what I've seen in other videos people saying that it works like so but yeah 1440p guys very low preset 30 FPS is possible now what if we go too low let's see disable the resolution scale and yes our FPS got murdered oh my God we are under 20 FPS in a low preset oh by the way you can actually use all the presets I haven't I will not be showing it in the video but uh disabling dtop field in this game brings performance on Intel Arc up by at least 15 FPS in this case sorry for not showing but I've been playing around it really works wonders when you disable depop filter oh guys look at this low preset 1440p no resolution up scaling we get about an average FPS of 16 15 when we move around like crazy yep yep this uh is not playable I mean on very low pret it is kind of playable but on other stuff look at this guys let's check medium now we are still kept at about 50 16 FPS Max when we look at the whole city oh I don't know guys I would suggest you to wait a bit till uh performance and everything gets improved in this game don't waste 45 on this game unless you got Xbox game pass ultimate then uh go ahead and test it out because you can you know and uh let me know down in the comments below if you play will play this game and what kind of experience are you getting but here we go 144p medium uh murdering our graphic card here now what if we switch to high oh it's already disabled resolution scaling quality yes smart High preset smart oh guys yeah 10 FPS I mean don't get me wrong you still play this game at this kind of frames but uh look I have double the triple the speed of time moving forward and check at the bottom left how fast the time is moving if you will play like this expect your game time to be triple the the time you would have it around 30 FPS so oh my god oh City skylines 2 Guys not worried buying for for to play on our Intel RK 770 unless you are happy with the low preset or yeah let's quickly check 1080p maybe maybe here we will get better fps but so far we've seen the game is not really optimized no okay 1080p High sating we got around 90% GPU usage in this case but uh the FPS didn't really improve that much H we get more FPS than what we did at 1440p so uh let's switch to low or some other preset wait let's quickly send this Dynamic resolution scale to consent let's see what happens 3 4 FPS more but the quality got way Bluer so uh might as well use low with disabled resolution scale okay we don't get it's some other effects but I mean I mean 1080p look at this GPU usage oh it's so lower the place most of the time it's 50% I guess I would need to put 3900k here to get better gpus at this kind of resolution or is just the game broken I really don't know but uh yeah I will put this uh to the off list for me game looks interesting you know building the city and everything but uh this kind of performance I'm not sure if I want to bother testing it out and playing maybe few hours I will do it but uh yeah here we go guys slow preset a bit better but uh I mean we get way we worse performance than what we did at 1440p so what gives bad optimization what that's what it gives quickly scrolling here I mean moving here through the city at 1080p setting low yeah doesn't seem like we can get 30 FPS once you build this huge City I mean okay maybe with less population like thousand population a small village it would work okay but this game is obviously about building cities so uh this kind of performance is not really acceptable but maybe this game can be used for benchmarking H let me know down in the comments below if you can use this game for benchmarking once it gets obviously more optimized I mean looks kind of the demanding game but it's this GPU CPUs
